I lost all sound on my Equium M40X

Seems to have lost all sound on my laptop Equium M40X.
I tried everything obvious like ensuring that nothing is disabled, etc., have used the restore to an earlier date facility. I downloaded a new driver sound - but still no sound! Can anyone help please?

If I was you I would first check the Device Manager.
There may be some conflicts with your sound card
Remove the sound from the Device Manager and restart the machine.
Then reinstall the audio driver again.

Did you also check if you can hear something using the headset?
You should do this!

Also check if the sound is not muted. You can disable and enable using the FN + ESC.

    Hi, can anyone help?

My Satellite A80 seems to have lost all sound. When I open the audio program I get a message saying that no device found? I had her before without problem?

If you are able to help at all, I would be very grateful. My email address is [email protected].

    Thank you.

First of all, you should try to remove you sound driver should and then reinstall again.

On the Toshiba page, you will find the compatible driver.

The question remains then you should recover the laptop with the Toshiba Recovery CD.

Usually, if your notebook malfunction s material doesn t then a recovery CD should solve this problem.
Otherwise, the hardware may be faulty and the laptop everything should be checked by technicians.

  • Reference Dell optiplex 320 running windows xp lost all sounds

Recently, I lost all sound, I tried to uninstall & reinstall my audio drivers

but continues to come up with the error code 39, when I try to reinstall or update the drivers

It is also in place with the wizard is unable to find a better match for your hardware

the currently installed software? All popular solutions

It's no big thing to go on so only ideas in time...

A 39 error means that your drivers are somehow corrupt.

According to Dell, your audio drivers are here:

    http://support.Dell.com/support/downloads/DriversList.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=Gen&SystemID=PLX_PNT_320&OS=WW1&OSL=en

Since there is only one choice for the audio drivers, when you got the drivers you trying to install?

If this is not the place, which is the first place you should look for drivers.

I uninstall the old driver first (from Device Manager), download the new drivers and run the downloaded driver. File EXE from the site of Dell and make what is said.

If your system uses to work properly, what do you think has happened since the last time, he did not work properly?

  • Windows Media Player 11 lost all sound. Reinstalling does not solve. Uninstall does not uninstall.

Windows Media Player 11 lost all sounds (after a defrag?) Reinstalling does not solve. Impossible to uninstall before reinstalling (gives only a rellback from 11 to 11). Sound works fine on other programs.
    The value OK volume control.

    Hello KenLW,

Thank you for your message.  It does not sound like one or several files in Media Player have been corrupted, uninstall and reinstall should solve the problem.  Uninstall Windows Media Player 11 can be a difficult process.  Click HERE for instructions on how to uninstall WMP11.

  • After downloading Flash Player 20 lost all sound ELEMENTS

After downloading Flash Player 20 lost all THE Audio files on all applications (internet, streaming, DVD, etc.)

    INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SYSTEM

    Name of your browser

    Firefox (NPAPI)

    Your operating system (OS)

    Windows (Windows 7)

    Solutions

In addition to checking the sound levels on the mixer and volume controls, carried out steps on the Adobe solution list:

    1. Make sure that the latest version of Flash Player is installed
    2. Disable ActiveX filtering (if you use Internet Explorer 9)
    3. Enable Flash Player Add ons (if you use Internet Explorer)
    4. Make sure you have the latest version of Flash Player (if you use Chrome)
    5. Delete all Flash Player data mining
    6. Remove the Flash Player cache
    7. Disable hardware acceleration of Flash Player

    Thank you.

Flash Player has not directly render all audio on your system unusable.  It can not.

If you have not yet restarted, I would start there.

After the restart, if the problem persists, start by confirming this wiring to your speakers/headphones is correct, then move the settings of volume of windows, then Control Panel > sounds to make sure its good to output is used, then all Control Panel audio exclusive on the system.

If this does not work, I would go to the control panel > add/remove hardware and uninstall the audio card, reboot and let windows re - discover it.

If you're still stuck, I would call your computer manufacturer or the manufacturer of the sound card and go from there.

  • Latitide D810 - lost all sound with Windows 7

    Greetings!

I recently installed Windows 7 Professional on my Dell Latitude D810. After installation, I've lost all the audio features. My volume control in the Quick Launch bar States, "no Audio output device is installed". I ran the "problems of detection" to try and fix the drivers, but it wasn't able to fix it.

My next step is to check the drivers of Dell and downloads site and they do not have a driver for my computer with Windows 7. However, I have read on other sites that people have had any audio problems with installing Windows 7 on their Latitude D810s. Others have claimed to have had problems, but have been able to find the drivers for their audio problems.

Through various websites and download, I tried the following driver executables: D810_A05.exe, R99254.exe and S1wua01i.exe. It's audio drivers I found for XP and Vista, but they no longer work.

Does anyone else have other recommendations in pilot? Or links to other drivers, I can at least try?

At this point, anything would be helpful! A lot of satisfaction and thanks in advance...

    See if it works:

Download driver Sigmatel R99254. Unzip it but cancel the installation process. (Skip this step if you still have this driver).
It will unzip the files and store them in a folder on the hard disk to c:\Dell\drivers\R99254, and this folder will be a subfolder named WDM.

Open Device Manager and expand system down devices. Locate the PCI Device with one? next to it (or if it is not there, then look for "Multimedia Audio Controller"). Go to properties and select Update driver. Select to manually locate the driver and let Windows not seek.
    Go to c:\Dell\drivers\R99254\WDM

With a bit of luck, it should detect new hardware, and one of them should be the Sigmatel.

  • I have a dv7. I tried to play a dvd with cyberlink power dvd. I lost all sound on my computer. ???

We checked all volumes and everything seems to be in order, but I have no sound.  I also did a safety check and analysis of health, still nothing seems to be wrong.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

IDT Audio Installer - Windows 7.

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

    Kind regards
