  I have an iMac with OS X 10.6.8 v.. I am trying to install Adobe Master Suite CS5. The first disc had a little trouble being read first. It would auto eject after a few moments. Then on the third attempt it works beautifully. He finished his part of the installation, then Adobe Application Manager said: "Please insert CS5 Master Collection disk 2 disk to continue." I put the disk in it, then ejects itself after the computer tries to read it. I tried this story 20 times hoping that it was just a glitch the first disk. It still does not work. To make sure that it wasn't my DVD drive in the iMac, I played a DVD movie. The film has worked perfectly.

  My only conclusion at this stage, is that there must be something wrong with the disc. Please help me understand this. I have a few days of work and I want to transfer all my photos and work in the new software so that I'm going. Any help is appreciated.

• CS5 Master Collection and the need to transfer the license for sale

  Okay, quick question about this because I want to make sure that the buyer knows what to expect.  I have posted this at the end of a similar thread but noticed that it is marked answered so I guess that's not an answer.  I will sell my CS5 Master pass and it's the process from what I understand...

  1. Disable the software on my computer under the help button.
  2. Uninstall the software from my computer.
  3. Fulfil my part of the paperwork to transfer license.
  4. Sell software
  5. The buyer fulfills their part of the paperwork to transfer license.  They support both of our forms. ???
  6. On the Adobe site. 'Once the two parties have submitted a transfer of license form, allow three to four weeks for Adobe process your request for license transfer'.
  7. The buyer will have to wait 3-4 weeks to install and use the software?

  I just want to be 100% sure of what they will see when they receive and try to install/activate the software.  He's going to wait 3-4 weeks to use it, or is the license transfer not something, they're going to have to wait.  Thank you for your help in advance.  I want to make sure that we follow the process correctly, there are no hiccups.

  The drive came with the laptop or you did it yourself in the recovery Partition?

  And you're supposed to boot from the recovery disc to start the recovery process.

  You change the Boot order to make the CD/DVD drive first in the boot order. Then, you start from the disc.

  And as a way to re - install with most of the Toshibas, you press 0 (zero) to start to start the process of recovery back to settings factory (new State) of the recovery Partition.

  Wow, I went to the link for eval on the CS5 Suite and they said, it requires an Intel 64-bit processor. I have recently (last week) has got a computer with a Quad-core AMD. You must be kidding me that the CS5AE and the CS5Premier do not support the non-Intel chips... My PS CS4 is running in 64-bit without problems.

  Yes, you can install and activate the perpetual software (purchased) two computers of the same type (mac or pc), as long as you use it on one at a time. (lightroom is the exception because it is a product of multi platform, so it can be installed on the pc and mac platforms)

  It is advisable to disable the software on a computer on which it will be is most used, especially before giving away or selling the computer or reformat the hard disk. Please see this link: How to disable the software.  This frees an activation if you have the option to install the software on another computer at any time.

  I have a HP pavilion DV7-3060us running Windows 7 home 64-bit

  There is a faster way... Start with CS6 installing directly, when you are prompted to enter the serial number for the previous version, enter and you should be good to go.

• After you download a trial for new creative cloud platform, the new "Application Manager" is hostage my existing CS5 Master Suite.

  Help! How to use my existing software? Adobe offers hotline for "Versions of outdated software" and it does not seem like someone he understands what my problem is anyway.   I had VMware and Microsoft Virtual PC and never asked for the "original" disk when refreshing a SP.

  I don't know why we ask maybe because you're using a Mac I was using a PC.

  Or maybe I was not asked because I used a CD of Service Pack.
