    You should not have a password to reinstall Vista.

    Microsoft prohibits any help given in these Forums for you help bypass or "crack" passwords lost or forgotten.

    There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

    There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

    You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

    They should do this for a small fee.

    To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

    I see a signons3.txt file and a file signons.sqlite older, if you can try to see if you can import passwords stored in this file.

    You can force Firefox to re-import the passwords in the file signons.sqlite and regenerate the file logins.json with the following steps:

    • reset the signon.importedFromSqlite pref on the topic: config page by default via the context menu
    • Delete the logins.json file in the closed Firefox with Firefox profile folder

    When you restart Firefox, then you should have the pref signon.importedFromSqlite with the value set to true.

The sad news for you is that you have made a good choice with BitLocker: unless you have the certificate, your data remains inaccessible. There is no backdoor.     It sounds like you still have active and configured listener APEX XDB HTTP Server to use the same TCP port. Unfortunately, the listener and Server HTTP XDB APEX use port 8080 by default. Configure a service to use a different port or disable XDB HTTP server completely, if you don't need otherwise, to resolve the conflict of port.
    To leave the APEX listener to use a different port, simply start with the apex.port parameter, for example

    java -jar -Dapex.port=8081 apex.war

    To change the port of XDBs, you need your user name sys (for example connection with sqlplus under sys as sysdba) and run the corresponding API command, for example

    sqlplus / as sysdba

    where 0 is the value to disable the service completely. Use another port if you rather want to use it and don't want to not use APEX listens on a different port than 8080.
