I'm changing my windows 7 to windows xp, but it keeps saying "this program is blocked due to compatibility issues" when I click on install windows xp

You can not install XP from a Win7 boot - boot from the XP CD, and then install XP reformat the partition Win 7.

You will lose all the data on the Win7 partition - but back first.
