  I bought my wife a new MacBook, retina 12 "early 2015, 1.3 GHz Intel Core M, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, running OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 with his old Mac, she would frequently get the ball from spinning to death when she tried to delete an e-mail message, and also when she creates a new message and tried to attach a file.  I was hoping that the new computer would solve this problem.  However, he still does sometimes, but not as often and does not have as much time to finally react.  Activity monitor says that the Mail does not respond when the small wheel is happening.  Looks like there is a corrupted somewhere file that got transferred to the new computer.  Any suggestions on how to solve it?  Previous posts suggested to remove the tray to sand, but the method, that said, does not have the folder that I had to remove.

  Please launch the Console application in one of the following ways:

  ☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

  ☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

  ☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

  Everything has been working perfectly with Windows Mail until this morning. When I click on Send Message to compose an e-mail, you receive the following error message:

  Panel--> programs--> Windows Essentials 2012 (choose option repair) - tried 3 x, no luck
  Restarting the computer
  Checked to see if there is now an update of Windows (no, the last of them was 06/20)
  Search for all events in my antivirus (Bitdefender) - saw nothing, but I don't really know what to look for

• Upgrades to 8 and restarted Firefox but when you try to start the message get FF this restart is required to complete installation; same message if I try to re - install or uninstall and seq. wrote this using Google Chrome.

  Upgrade to 8 FF (of 3.6) seem to go smoothly, as did restart on Acer desktop running Windows 7 Home Premium. But I get "reboot needed to complete the installation of FF" whenever I try to start and seq. tried uninstalling FF using the uninstall from the control panel and uninstall in my Mozilla folder - get the same message "Restart required". Tried to reinstall FF - same message. In short, totally unusable FF - and I'm starting to like Google Chrome.

  You try to export from OE to Outlook? Try compacting the Inbox first. If still no joy, create new files of 2 or 3 and copy about a third of the Inbox each and export these records.
