I'm having a problem with my Windows Media Player and its automatic scoring system.
I'm having a problem with my Windows media player and its rating system. Usually in Windows Media Player the blue side star system only rate once internet-based critical car. Then after playing constant song change the blue stars. However, on my Windows Media Player ratings only to have automatically scored only once and every time I play the song the side remains the same.
Whenever I play a song in Windows Media Player 11 it rates the song but when I play the song again the rating remains the same. It auto-taux only the song once. How can I fix it?

Having a problem with my Windows Media Player... Help!
I've been ripping CDs from my husband for more than four years and now starting to have a problem with it. All of a sudden I can record a cd and it works very well and a minute later, put in another and it says cannot save. What gives with that? It is not at all an error state. It does not is not an error for this good state.
I went to see what I could find and came across a site (don't have a clue right now that that) who said that I should connect to the internet. Huh? I don't know that I recorded at some point without the use of the Internet. Although I ran into a problem with the names of the songs that were not correct on some of the Conference on disarmament, but don't remember if I was on it or not. So I went on the internet... same thing... still won't save.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Sometimes things just die. I recently discovered the disk drive in my computer laptop just spits discs now and it is about 4 years older. I still used it a lot and for the first time in a year, wanted to watch a DVD. Well.
Before dealing with Geek Squad, you can just buy an external USB CD/DVD drive burner and use instead.

I am trying to sync my ipod with my windows media player and when I connect my ipod windows media play is not read. How can I sync my ipod with windows media player?
Hello
Your MP3 player should have 2 settings - MSC that should allow the player to be used as a
external drive and PSG that is the parameter to use to sync with WMP11. Remove the MP3
and restart the computer. Change the MP3 in MTP mode - it power off and plug it in.I hope this helps.

I have a problem with my Windows Media Player
Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with the digital copy between your DVD drive decoder and video card protection. Try to install a driver available for your video card.

This happens because of DRM problem.
Go through this Article KB and try to reset the DRM.Another thing, you could do it-download and install VLC Player.

We have a computer that is running Windows 7 and (I think) Windows Media Player 12. When I start ==> all programs ==> windows media player, the program starts and it seems to work. It is a work computer, so no video or audio file is saved.
We have an online seminar that the user wants to participate in, and when we click on the link to get the webinar, an error message appears saying that Windows Media Player is not installed on the computer.
We use Firefox (version reasonably updated, but do not know which) for internet.
I used the "fix it" tool on the website of Microsoft, but that does not solve anything. He said it sets some configuration settings. I thought that maybe uninstall and reinstall it can work, but I can't understand completely uninstall because it isn't in my list of programs in the control panel.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for any ideas you may have.
Nolan
(Moved to programs)
Uninstall and reinstall could be done by searching for and opening the option "turn on or off Windows features", but I don't think it will help.
Instead, what you need is a Windows Media Player plugin for your browser (Firefox).
But before you spend effort on it, I would test to see if it's really the solution. Try to join your webinar with Internet Explorer (where the WMP plugin is built). If it works, you can be reasonably sure to know how to make it work with Firefox.

Apparently an involuntary change of administrative privileges or permissions (Windows XP Pro, SP3) keeps me updated Media Player version 9 to 11 v. and updated virus Security Essentials definitions. For Media Player, wmsetup.log reports access denied error 80070005 and UpdSpAPI.log reports access denied for the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Settings\MP3Encoding\LowRate registry key. In regedt32, I'm blocked from display HKLM\...\MediaPlayer\Settings and below, and "are allowed to view the current permission settings, but... can make a change." Except that I can't. I can enter the change but get «...» Access is denied"trying to apply them. So this is the first problem that I need help. But of course it's more than a registry key and the subkeys, because MSE too is affected and will download but not install virus definitions. WindowsUpdate.log reports: failed to install with error 80070643.My user account (it's the only one!) is part of the Administrators group and all that I tried to verify administrative permissions is positive. This is a new issue. No virus/malware, according to MSE, Lavasoft Ad-Aware, MalWarebytes Anti-Malware.Original title: cannot update Media Player or Microsoft Security Essentials - access denied Erors

My windows media player does not automatically recognize when a disc is placed in the disc drive. I have to put the disc in the disc drive, and then close windows media player, with the disc in the disc drive already, then re-open windows media player. Reopened WMP with the disc in the disc drive, it recognizes the disc in the drive. It then functions well until I need to change the disk at this time I have to start the reboot stop of WMP. This problem has not allways exists just started a few months ago. Thanks for any helpful information.

I use WL Movie maker to convert DVD titles/chapters/files .vob in a readable WMV format for consumption on my Windows Phone for later viewing. The DVD is open and has no right of use of media and every other title/chapter on the disk except for this one, I've converted using Movie Maker.
Windows Media player and VLC Media player can read without problem. Can I also hidden the specific section (and high school) with Divx Plus Converter in Divx format, but Movie Maker can not identify/read the article and simply extract 14-minute shows with nothing in it, even though it has about 25 minutes. Video player can read more about the chapter that is the second vob related file in the section.
I feel it is a problem with Movie Maker and its algorithms have encountered a scenario where he lost his mind, because I have to kill the Movie Maker, because never happens to expire.
Is this something where I can send a copy of the image to MS to get trying to fix an error reported to Microsoft Connect, or this there something I can try locally?
