• FaceTime is not receiving calls

  I can make calls on my end 2011 (El Capitan) iMac using FaceTime, but for some reason that I can't receive them. Can I get them on my phone, but my Mac does not "sound". Nothing will come through.

  I'm going to assume that you have checked each of these facts:

  FaceTime can make outgoing calls.

  b. you don't get calls to an email address or iPhone number corresponding to the Apple code that you are currently using. Calls to any other ID Apple that you may have used will not be received.

  (d) at least one of the callers can call other users of FaceTime - but not you.

  If you have verified these facts, please take each of the following steps you have already taken it. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.

  1. open the Notifications pane in system preferences. Select FaceTime from the list on the left. The banners or alerts alert style must be chosen - not None.

  2. in the same window, select do not disturb. If none of the three top boxes on the right is checked, then all FaceTime calls will be blocked in the corresponding conditions. If you want to use 'do not disturb', but you also want to receive calls when it is active, check or for both the two boxes below, according to your preference.

  3. If the built-in firewall application is enabled, please disable it. In case you are worried about the implications of this step, the firewall generally useless when you're on a private behind a router network.

  4. If you have installed any third-party 'firewall', 'security', or 'anti-virus' software, remove it according to the instructions of the developer. All these software are worse than useless.

  5. If you are connected to a VPN, you disconnect. You may need to remove some third party software VPN completely to solve the problem.

  My cousin gave me his blackberry that he bought in the United States, T-Mobile has been the supplier of services. I use the phone with excellent service in Austria, the claimant is Orange. I was going great but now its stopped make or receive calls.  When I try to make calls it displays "call failed" and used to take incoming calls or the other. I have internet with an excellent signal.

  Yes... it's probably different than what I guessed. Normally, however, who comes from the web browser... not while performing a call... the steps that led to the receipt of this message would be so important to understand if it has nothing to do with your problem.

  Smart Dialing could be causal... having developed a country code other than the one you are in would be wrong. See this:

• Home phone does not receive calls since I've implemented HP 7520

  I can't receive calls since I installed the HP7520. I tried to change the settings in fax several times. The phone rings on the end of the appellant to another and they can leave me a voice message (via the phone system) but the phone does not ring on my end (in the House) and the caller ID shows either of the appellants. I tried all the different settings fax too. and a sample fax comes through when I do the "Fax Wizard.  I called my phone, and, as expected, they were no help.

  I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I would like to ask you some questions to see if you have everything set up correctly.

  1. do you have a facility with the internet, phone and cable set (modem and everything).

  2. do you have an answering machine plugged anywhere?

  You should have the printer set in place by the following text:

  1. line 1 on the printer should go directly to the wall outlet (or LINE 1 on the modem, if you bundle).

  2. the phone should go straight into the LINE 2 of the fax machine.

  3. settings in your fax can be given to the way that you want.

  4. go to your fax advanced settings.

  5. turn your Error Correction Mode (ECM) - OFF

  6. put your FAX SPEED to SLOW

  7. your rings before answer may be what you like.

  Have you checked to make sure that do not disturb is not activated in the settings? The volume is mounted? If you checked every setting and switch, try a forced reboot. No data will be affected.

  To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

  Always start with a battery pull when things do not work correctly with your phone.  Remove the battery while your phone is on, then replace it.

  Hello, just bought a 8900, after a new Reset SIM. Everything worked for about a week, now I can't receive calls. If I call my phone, I get the music while waiting for someone to answer, but the BB don't gives no indication that a call comes, no ring, no screen change, etc.. I drilled down in all profiles and checked for what is obvious. Even taken by an ATT store where they pulled the battery and reinstall the SIM card, but no change. Someone at - it suggestions? The last thing I did before that I noticed this problem is to download a ringtone via my browser and set it so that's what someone means when they call me (before i pickup.) When I call my phone, I get the Lady saying that I can listen to music while I wait for someone to answer. I can hear it even ring through the other phone between a break in music...

  I have a Mac mini that is on an ethernet connection and a macbook. I signed up with my identifier apple on both devices. I can make FaceTime calls on the two device but I can't receive calls on my macbook 12 - I can't on the mac mini - it sounds but nothing sounds on the macbook.

  Both are running El Capitan - but I don't see what is different on the two devices. I tried the macbook with the same ethernet connection, but that made no difference

  Hello, you have an extension named "SaveByclick" installed, that sounds rather suspicious - go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove it.

  I have an application that calls a mobile web site using BrowserField 2.  The application needs make the current GPS position to the mobile website with each request to the site.

  I used code MultipleFixDemo to get a LocationListener job.  Everything worked very well in the Simulator and all manual updates of location were received by the LocationListener in the application.

  I changed the display to include a component BrowserField 2 and the LocationListener does not update the location of the Simulator.

  Y at - it something I need to do something different when the user interface includes the BrowserField.  Can I have some kind of thread problem?  I only tested on OS 6.0 in the Simulator.  I don't have access to a real device.

  In the code below, I have two defined screens.

  If the pushScreen (new MultipleFixScreen() is uncommented and the pushScreen (new BrowserFieldScreen() is commented out, the LocationListener receives updates.)

  This is a limitation of the BrowserField.  The BrowserField also recorded a LocationListener that is use to power the GPS updates via JavaScript to pages it restores.  This LocationListener / that your application has already registered (given that the application can only record 1).

  There are two ways you can work around this problem.  You can save your LocationListener again after posting the BrowserField.  Note that if you take this approach methods JavaScript GPS won't within your BrowserField.

  The second approach is to poll for updates location, instead of using a LocationListener.  It should continue to work after posting a BrowserField.

  UPDATE: works after all. It might not work because I have several facilities-iphone, laptop and desktop. I left all connected first of all that the office and called from the fixed line home-success. Then quit that, connected to the laptop computer and called success. Then quit that and connected on phone portable-success. Be sure to check the settings for accepting calls under tools options privacy protection.

  This is not what I hoped for, is for voicemail be left when I'm offline. In other words, someone calls my phone number iphone Skype and because I am not connected to a wifi, they get the message. Leave a message has not created a voice message when I logged in.

  What type of e-mail (Exchange, POP3, IMAP) Server? If the Exchange, in what year (2007, 2010, 2013)? If Exchange, your local or remote on the server? Is your statement saying Outlook retrieves only by e-mail at startup but not later (POP3/IMAP via Exchange via synchronization of the PRC, send/receive)? This will help identify your problem. Is your Outlook completely up-to-date (SP1, all window updates)?
