I'm unable to connect to Twitter or Pinterest on Firefox but both work on Safari

I can't enter my log in information on Twitter log in page.
My Pinterest page is empty and impossible to click on any icon at the top
I've deleted the cookies and cache, but still does not work

I understood which setting was the cause of the problem and want to share in case it helps someone else. I was using settings recommended the EFF to stop tracking online, here:
https://www.EFF.org/deeplinks/2012/04/4-simple-changes-protect-your-privacy-online

Step 3 issue suggests "disable you"referer"header" in the subject: configuration settings and change the parameter refer to 2-0. The setting is "network.http.sendRefererHeader". When I changed it 2, the problem disappeared.

  • Unable to connect to an instance by using EM but properly connect with SQL * more

    Hello

I followed the following steps (from the document s/n 2 days):

    1. I created a model (including the database) to an instance named "orcl" using DBCA, before we proceed to create the model, DBCA informed me that the Forum might be stopped, I told him to go ahead.

    2. the model has been successfully created.

    3. I am now unable to connect to the instance orcl using EM, but I can connect to this instance without any problem using SQL * more.

Question: Why am I not able to connect to the instance by using EM? and what should I do to fix this?

Thank you very much for your help,

    Dear Ruino

At first, I must say that it will be interesting to know what model of laptop you have. It will also be interesting to know the flash cards exist at the top of the screen if you press the FN key.
Otherwise please go to START all programs utility from Toshiba and click on restart Flash Cards.

Please also make sure that the WLAN antenna is turned on. WLAN LED should be on.

  • Unable to connect to vSphere Web Client using Firefox or Chrome on the server 2012R2

I recently installed the web client of vsphere 5.1.0 on my 2K12R2 box.  I get questions that are well known and documented when I try to connect using IE11 (but note that I can always connect to the server vCenter). So I decided to try firefox and chrome.

With Firefox, I just get a cannot connect error message - Firefox can't establish a connection with the serere to localhost:9443.  When I try Chrome I get "this webpage is not available" with IE it came with the problem with the security certificate, but if I continue I can enter.  Other browsers are set to use the system proxy settings, so I don't ' know what is happening.

    Help!

    Thank you

Have you tried to set the proxy to 'No Proxy' settings?

What the system proxy settings are currently configured (netsh winhttp, see the proxy)?

  • Connection failed on version 37.0.1 but that works in all other browsers and firefox 36

Question very similar to this, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1056423. Am able to go to http://www.independentagent.com , then when you click on the link "sign" (which redirects to https://sso.iiaba.net/login.aspx?sid=xxx) this error indicates:

    The secure connection failed

The connection to the server was reset while the page is loading.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I went through the area of the sso.iiaba.net https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=sso.iiaba.net and it advises a few warnings, but gives the site an overall rating of B.

        • Fixed. As noted, we were supporting former ciphers. We dressed and had recourse to the list of encryption and now we get an A on the analysis of ssllabs.com . Firefox does now, no problem. I wish the original error message was more descriptive.

The site may attempt to return to TLS 1.0 in a way that is no longer allowed in current versions or maybe use a deprecated suite of encryption.

You can open the topic: config page through the address bar and use the search bar to locate this pref:

    • Security.TLS.insecure_fallback_hosts

You can double-click the line to edit the prefs and add the domain (sso.iiaba.net) to this preference.
If there are already websites (domains) in this list, then add a comma and the new domain (without space).
You should see fields separated by a comma in the value column.

This site uses the encryption algorithm RC4 for the encryption, which is obsolete and little course. Login.aspx

This site uses a SHA - 1 certificate; It is recommended to use the certificate with the signature algorithms that use stronger than SHA - 1 hash functions. [Learn more]

When you use Firefox for Windows desktop, I was having trouble, repeated for several weeks, navigate to GMAIL. It happens in Google calendar as well - same problem. This problem does not exist when I use another browser.

Unable to connect to youtube, google, and yahoo (search but engine mail works well). This has happened after the update of Windows 10.

This problem may also occur in the limited accounts by family parental control of microsoft. you could turn it off for your account as described in the: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/turn-off-microsoft-family-settings

in case you want to have it by intention, you would be required for some configurations in firefox and install the security certificate for the ms family that is getting used to intercept connections secured in the browser trust store.
Open this link in firefox - and must display a dialog on the addition of a cert. Please check the trust this CA to identify web sites & confirm the change.

Alternatively, you can also try the manual procedure described in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2965142 in the section about firefox.

  • Firefox said it is unable to connect to the net but IE and the signal is strong

Firefox has been great until this afternoon. Then all of a sudden it gave me an error message that he was "unable to connect." "" The laptop thinks it entirely connected wireless to the Homehub. I have been in contact with BT that kept me in line with IE and say that the problem is with Firefox. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and I'm still getting the message that it is unable to connect. Help, please!
PS Firefox works perfectly on my desk.

One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  • HP laptop: Hp 7520 all-in-one, unable to connect to web services when you are trying to scan to e-mail

All of a sudden, I'm not able to scan to e-mail. I get the message unable to connect to Web services. One day he was working the next day this error message.
    THX!

    Hi @MMDH

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you are getting a server connection error when trying to scan to e-mail. I would like to help.

There are two ways to go about this. It's either scanning to email app that is having the problem, or the printer it's impossible to connect to Web Services. It is easy to discover this. Tap the ePrint icon located in the upper left corner of the screen printers. If you get a server connection error, try the steps in this post troubleshooting by E - roq. Pro tips: Troubleshooting printing and scanning to Email Issues in e-all-in-one printers

If you do not get a server connection error, then the problem is with the scanning to email app. To solve this, go to the Web Services menu (icon ePrint) and select settings, then remove Web services. You will return to the main menu/home. Press again the ePrint and enable Web Services. Once activated go to scanning to email App. Setting up scan to email. Send a test.

I would like to know if these measures worked for you. If they did, it's great! Give us some reinforcements by pressing buttons of solution and laurels, that we will help and others see that we have the answers!
