I'm unable to use windows applications in my college. Is it because of the proxy connection? Each app says I'm not connected to a network. Please let me know how to encounter this problem.

1. What is the accurate and complete error message you get?
2. don't you make changes to the computer before this problem?
There could be various reasons why you will not be able to connect to the Windows store.
I suggest to disable the proxy server and check.
(a) press the Windows key and the R key to open the prompt to run . Type inetcpl.cpl in the run prompt and press to enter.
(b) in the 'Internet Options' window that opens, click on the tab "connections" at the top.
(c) click on 'network settings' at the bottom of the section "connections."
(d) if the "Proxy Server" box is marked with a check, click it to uncheck/disable.
(e) click on 'Ok' to close the window "local area network (LAN) settings".
(f) click on 'Ok' to close the 'Internet Options'.
I also recommend a complete analysis using the antivirus program installed on the computer or by using the Security Scanner from Microsoft that this problem can also occur by malware.

When you use the internet, my virus detector asked if I would allow google chrome to download a newer version. I clicked on the decline, and then my internet has stopped working. I finally got back on, but now my computer won't let me use google chrome as a browser. It indicates that the internet connection is not available. I was able to use other browsers, but not Google. I tried disabling my firewall to see if it would work then, but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions? I'm afraid, that I blocked it somehow. Thank you!!

I've updated to 17 FF and use Windows 7 on a 2 year old Sony Vaio laptop. Since the update, I can't click on some links, most of which seem to be located at the top of web pages. I also have problems with click and hold to scroll through the long (on the side). He is very picky on where the button sliding I can click on to make it work. It would be a file with an extension WLMP. Or if the file was created with
an earlier version of Movie Maker, it can have an extension .mswmm.So... just to clarify... MP4 extension or WLMP or something else?

Thank you very much for the work you've put into this. I made the change you suggested making the subkeywords under 'schwartz' to be {name schwartz}. I don't know who has contributed something, but I think that there are more immediate problem which is mucked up. As well as the fact that I have several catalogs that I don't know how they were created, I think that the best thing would be to merge all the catalogs into one (it is better to have a single catalog, right?) and delete all the keywords from scratch.
