I'm using Firefox 23.0.1. What will happen if I uninstall IE-8 completely?

Please advice for my IE-8 works fine.

It is not advisable to uninstall IE8, DO NOT.

By all means allow Firefox as default browser.

  • It won't be easy to do and some components of IE8 can be used by other applications.
  • You can continue to need IE8 for his ability to do some things, that Firefox can't do
    • As Windows operating system updates, Norton updates
  • You already know that you can have several browsers installed. It is always useful to have an alternative browser for testing, comparison and in reserve.

I run the test center for a very large school district with over 120 students of k. We have a current deployed at base of 54 client machines of k using Firefox 3.6. We have not upgraded for many reasons, of which the most important is to remove the possibility of use in navigation private students and dealing with plugin-updates for the digital non-born (read dumber than a bag of hammers users) that make up the majority of the customer base.

We test ESR now, but only discovered this end of life for 3.6 is tomorrow, 4/24. We are currently in the middle of the scale of the State of online tests. The question is, what will happen tomorrow, when the browser will end of life. ESR wiki mentions that "an update to the current version of Firefox Desktop will be available through the Update Service Application"

So the main question is, are my students/teachers goes to get a popup telling them that they have updated the browser if we have already turned off updates? If so, can I I disable remote using SCCM, because there will be all sorts of havoc.

Please advise as soon as possible and thank you in advance.

  • I use Windows XP and care April 2014 if I always use the it, what will happen after that Microsoft no longer supports it?

I use Windows XP and care April 2014 if I always use the it, what will happen after that Microsoft no longer supports it?  My computer will become unusable?  It works great and I would keep it if I can.  I use a Dell Inspiron 530 desktop.  Some people have told me that "nothing will happen" and others tell me that my computer will be more vulnerable.  I use ESET NOD 32 and Malwarebytes.  They tell me that they should still continue to work.  I am told that because my computer was purchased in September 2008, he cannot me upgraded to Windows 7.  I'm not a geek and would need assistance "passage" my files from one computer to the other as well.  And then what to do with my old top office.  I'm very worried and I had to face the fact that Microsoft is not going to deliver any security updates patches after April of 2014.

I can't wait to hear from someone on this problem and more just to go out and invest in Windows 8!  Thank you.

I can tell you one thing, all or almost of windows xp device drivers will disappear from the computer manufacturers support websites and will reappear on all these shady sites who claim to be download for free but comes with unwanted software. Download the latest device drivers and keep several copies of them and download them to your skydrive or dropbox account fo guard.

I doubt that will happen. I've seen Windows 2000 drivers still on websites mfg.

  • Upgrading RAM... what will happen on my cluttered Desktop?

Re; early 2009 iMac 10.10.5 (2) x 2 GB RAM modules pre upgrade.

When I go through the procedure of Exchange to my old for additional RAM modules and more new RAM modules, what will happen on my busy office, if anything?

It is my understanding that links file that you drag on the desktop are stored in RAM.

When I leave the current RAM modules, all that now appears will be lost, or much less accessible?

Accessibility is the whole point to have them there.

Am I worrying unnecessarily, or if I am save these file, image and video links very used somewhere?

Nothing will happen.  The content of the Finder window is not stored in volatile RAM, but in the database and preference files to make them permanent, subject to your evolution, which is on the desktop at any time.

  • What will happen?

If uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes NOT, what will happen to my backups? they will disappear?

    Backups of what?

iTunes backups do not back up your media (music, etc.). Backups of your music are made independently of iTunes, so delete iTunes should not influence these backups.

A backup of iTunes files would be of no use to you, if you remove iTunes.

  • What will happen to the existing recovery partition

I have an Inspiron desktop with a pre-installed recovery disc/partition. I am currently running Windows 7.

What will happen to that partition and its content, should I decide to use the free update of Microsoft for host1 0? Should what steps I take, please?

Recovery of F8 will become broken in THE WORK NEVER NEVER.

So to clone your old drive to a new drive.  Then do the update 10 on it.

If you go back you clone the old backup to the new once more.

  • What will happen with my agent and active Windows 8, I will have bought with the laptop after I swap HDD with SSD?

Original title: replacement disk and windows.

    Hello guys.

I am considering buying a new laptop. The model that I found and I like has a HARD drive if I want to replace it with the SSD to the format of my previous laptop. (Due to the low energy consumption, greater speed, etc.). So I have a 256 gb SSD in my previous loan of laptop replace new one HARD disk, yet what will happen with my agent and active Windows 8, I will have bought with the laptop?

I can reinstall windows 8 on the SSD, but I don't have a key to activate their... How will I be able to get the key from previous series if the laptops will only work with a recovery partition these days here? I asked a guy in the store, I buy my laptop since and he told me that he does not know and I have to ask for help. However, to create a message of support I need a serial number of the model I did not because I have not yet bought a laptop, so I don't know what to do... I really don't want to stick with the HARD drive, but also I can't afford another model.

Is it possible to do a recovery with my laptop disk when I get it, then replace the drive with my SSD and run the recovery disc I made?

The laptop I want to buy is an Asus if that helps...

    Thanks in advance...

The 'Raw' State is not necessary, it is the State of any drive (SSD drive or hard drive) would be in if you just remove a disk new in box and will need to be "initialized", since you have already used the player already initialized sound.

Do not format the drive, rather than delete all existing partitions, (the SSD shows then as being "unallocated"). Now you are ready to restore the backup Image you created. During the restore process Acronis will recreate the partitions that were on the hard drive on your SSD.

  • What will happen to the SQL Query based object View (EmployeesVO)

    Schema used: HR

    1. I created a view through SQL Query view object object (Table Employees - EmployeesVO).
    2. Creates an entity of the Employees (EmployeesEO) table object.
    3. In the section EmployeesVO (View object) entity objects, I chose EmployeesEO (entity object).

What will happen to the View SQL Query object based on (EmployeesVO) will it change to VO based on entities or still to be based query VO.

It is there because you can still base your query based Vo EO according to Vo.

After that you base your VO on EO you can now use 'Add the attribute of the entity' to base your attribute on the atrributes of EO. Or if you skilled enough you can manually change the XML to VO

I can't enter serial number installation window because mailboxes do not letters, what will happen?

If there are letters in the code so it is not a serial number.  Serial numbers have 24 numbers (6 groups of 4 digits).  You can be a redemption code which is what allows you to purchase a serial number - usually if you buy in a store or other third party affiliates.

    Find your serial number
