I'm using Firefox 3.6.12 on a Mac and Gmail freezes when I hit the reply button or transfer.
I can't reply or forward any e-mail. In addition, the disconnection is impossible when an e-mail is opened.
You can fix this by changing the configuration of Firefox. In the address bar type: subject: config
In the search for string dom.storage.enabled configuration screen and change the value 'true' by double clicking on it. Restart Firefox and good luck!

Firefox is not retry downloads when I hit the retry button.
I go to download something and it will freeze and stop the download then I hit pause and then when I hit RESUME it comes up with a message saying that the path is not available or something and ends the download. then when I hit the retry button to retry the download it just goes through a quick scan and there, he finished with a partially downloaded file that nothing can be done for.
This has happened
Just once or twice
== I am downloading a file video/part
Unfortunately, some downloads can be resumed. This is not a limitation in Firefox, but imposed by the company offering the download, because they usually do not want to download a file more than once. The only thing you can do in this case is to go back to the page where you got the download from and restart it from there.

As I said whenever I open firefox I get 3 additional tabs to the home page. After that, whenever I hit the home button I get 3 more. Very fast, I got 1 million tabs and capabilities. I went to internet explore and connected and I have no problem. The only thing I can get from that is that I have a problem with firefox. I have been using firefox for a couple of years too.
Thanks, Larry

I tried to download Firefox without success.
I hit the download button and, normally, a pop-up window appears asking me to open or save the file. An empty box appears briefly and then disappears.
The problem may be with Internet Explorer 6.
However, I tried to update to IE 8 and the same problem above occurs on the Microsoft Web site.
I think that there is a little lack of IE 6.
Any ideas?
Thank you
SandraThank you.
In the end I had someone send me the file installation and it worked.

Firefox crashes when I pressed the Browse button to upload files
Windows 7 x 32 Firefox 10.02 the program crashes constantly when I press the Browse button (such as gmail attachments, virustotal programs and so on.)
PS I've already eliminated the registry problems and attempted to delete MRU registry, such as mentioned in this topic: https://support.mozilla.org/ru/questions/754368#answer-105628Cor - el will no doubt come with suggestions. I will list the accident report Details incase they help someone. The accident occurred when a component associated Windows is in use. Have you ensured you have no background task running, and no unnecessary plugins Firefox are running.
No reason to expect to be directly related, but a previous incident with the same signature took place when bookmarks were used, and the solution in this instance was:
I found out that an option in Microsoft File Explorer caused the crash. To solve this: - Go to "Organize" - Choose "Folder and search options" - uncheck "Automatically expand to current folder"
Now Firefox won't crash again!
Your reports for s CrashID all have the same signature

Can't let a Web site when I click the back button, it keeps just returning on the site, have to close Firefox and restart my search.
The website below is just an example, it is a little more.
Is this a problem with Firefox or this particular Web site?
Thank you for your help.I thank very you much for trying to help me.
I think you pointed me in the right direction, I tried on IE (ugh!) and he worked there. It's been awhile that this HARD drive has been in service and I think it's time to do a clean reinstall of everything.
Once again, thank you.

There is a problem with Firefox 'remembering' my Verizon residential account password. Using Firefox, I am obliged to enter my ID and password every time I closed my browser and then restart or close my e-mail for a while, even though I checked the option "keep me connected" significant given by Verizon. I spent a lot of time today working with the technical support of Verizon and they (and I) can verify that it's specific to Firefox and IE is not the case. So far, this seems to be limited to the connection from Verizon, but there may be other affected accounts protected online. If it helps, I run Firefox under Windows 7 with Norton Security and the active Norton toolbar. It is a real pain and needs to be repaired.

On my 1 GHz PowerPC G4 Mac, I use Firefox 1.5.0.7, but Google says that they no longer support this version. My operating system is OS 10.5.8.So which is the most recent version of Firefox that is compatible with this computer and where I might be able to download it? Thank you for your help.
Firefox 3.6 is the latest version of Mozilla that is compatible with Mac PPC.
http://www.Mozilla.com/en-us/Firefox/all-older.htmlFor older Mac that are not supported in Firefox 4 / 5 / 6-7, try TenFourFox for PowerPC in performance Mac 10.4.11 and 10.5.8.

I have Firefox in the Windowspartition of my computer and the Linuxpartition from my computer, I have a third partition where I store my personal data, such as my Firefox-profile-map and my download card.
If I'm not manually delete 'Parent Lock' Firefox will not start it is already an open session.
It would be better not to have this system of parentlock. It would be better to use two separate profiles for each operating system and synchronize data between the two, because there can be other problems as well with the caches that use current versions of Firefox and other files that store the paths of dependent files of the OS.

Cookies are retained only until Firefox is closed.
Activated: 'block pop-up windows '.

Thanks for you help. I used Firefox since it first came out. This is my first question.
Kind regards

Make sure that you do not remove the navigation, search and download history on Firefox to clear the 'browsing history' when Firefox is closed because who wins and prevent Firefox tabs from the previous session.

After each attempt to update and restart, Firefox will never update to the new version. I'm still at version 34.0.5.
Hello!
Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.
- Download the latest version of Firefox from mozilla.org office (or choose the download for your operating system and language on this page) and save the file to install it on your computer.
- Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (or open the Firefox menu
Click the close button
).
- Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
- Windows:
- C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
- C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
- Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
- Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
- Windows:
- Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
- Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
- Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.
More information on the resettlement of Firefox can be found here.
WARNING: Do not use an uninstaller to third parties as part of this process. This could permanently delete your Firefox profile data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and passwords saved. They can be retrieved easily unless they have been backed up on an external device! See back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox.
Please report to say if this helped you!

Hello, adobe has released a critical fix for a vulnerability in its version of the flash plugin, which is apparently already exploited in the wild. That's why firefox will block the precarious versions which run by default on Web sites for your protection. https://helpx.Adobe.com/security/products/Flash-Player/apsb14-27.html https://addons.Mozilla.org/Firefox/blocked/p794
Please update Adobe Flash Player version 16.0.0.235 as soon as possible, that you can download from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html (use the windows exe for plugin-based browsers).
