  This is probably due to a corrupt user profile. Corruption could be simple damaged files or due to the partial failure of hard drive.

  The first thing you can do is backup all data of the suspect profile to another device as memory stick, USB hard disk or enternal. It is where the hard drive is faulty and you need to protect your data against the possibility that it will fail completely.

  Your data will be most likely contained in records under C:\Users\, for example, if your login name is Sean, the issues will be

  C:\Users\Sean\Documents

  C:\Users\Sean\Desktop

  C:\Users\Sean\Favorites

  etc.

  If the original computer that has been updated for Windows 7 comes with Vista while the copy of Vista is an OEM product and cannot be used on any other computer than the one it came with.  If the version of Win 7 is an upgrade, not a full retail product version, then the original Vista is still attached to this computer (as the qualifier for the upgrade) and can not be installed on another computer, even if it was a full retail product and OEM No.

• Why MIcrosoft solves the questions updated to VISTA so Quicktouch will work on HP computers?

  Several users have problems with Quicktouch after installation of Vista updates.  I'm one of them.  I tried all the usual fixes, including using Microsoft Fixit but in vain.  If it was the computer I could not complain, but others have different brands and same story.  According to their feedback that Microsoft has been almost useless to solve the problem even if Vista is the cause.  I want answers because I'm so frustrated that I am ready to spend many years of being a PC for the competition.   So please let me know if there is a resolution on the path or if I should start looking for a new computer with the best software.  Thank you.

  You might want to try this suggestion from Umar on another forum:
  perform a system recovery OR shut down the computer, unplug the adapter, remove the battery and press the POWER button for abt 45 seconds, THEN reinsert the dough and all and start the computer.

  Not sure if it will work, but it might be interesting to try.

• Is there a way to merge the bookmarks on my old pc with those on my new pc? (PS: I have unable connect to the old pc using old profile but can access the profiles folder).

  My profile on my old laptop has become corrupted and I can't log in with my regular account (admin). I would like to add and merge bookmarks former firefox to another laptop, which already has existing bookmarks. I can not simply copy and paste the profile folder as this would crush my existing bookmarks and settings. Unfortunately, I have not set up the sync on this browser feature.

  Unfortunately, Firefox doesn't have good tools to merge and dédupliquant bookmarks. I will propose a roundabout way to do. Here's an overview:

  (1) create a new profile Virgin (#3) in your current Firefox (see details at the end)

  (2) while using the #3 profile, restore a file in JSON format to backup your old (#1 profile) system (see restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer)

  (3) export bookmarks restored to an HTML element in a perfect location, with a file name unique format (see Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file for backup or transfer bookmarks)

  (4) exit Firefox and is reactivated in your normal profile (profile #2)

  (5) file bookmarks import as HTML (see import bookmarks in HTML file)

  (6) create a backup in case something is not going to step 7 (see restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer)

  (7) rearrange bookmarks in the folder of imported bookmarks (see https://support.mozilla.org/kb/use-bookmarks-to-save-and-organize-w...), possibly using an add-on deduplicating

  Create a new Firefox profile

  A new profile will be your plugins installed by system (for example, Flash) and extensions (e.g., security suite toolbars), but no themes, other extensions or other customizations. It should also have databases of completely fresh settings and cool a cache folder.

  Out of Firefox and start in the profile using Start Manager > Search box (or run):

  It happened this morning, as soon as I clicked on "Windows Update" icon of the button 'start '. It also occurs when the single click to open a folder on my desktop or inside another folder.

  I've also observed sometimes when you try to delete an important file (for example 300 MB) the deletion starts but seems to hang and ends not - even after 10 minutes or more.

  Before installing the latest batch of updates I have not seen these problems within 9 months I've been running this machine.
  Any ideas?

  I run McAfee anti virus and it is up-to-date.  I also ran SpyBot and PC Tools 36 hours - clean.
  Last night I ran as Microsoft on line scanners - no found major problems, some problems of minor registry, which I corrected.
  Windows Explorer problem occurred twice since the scan.

  Akamai Download Manager is / is not necessary for all download Adobe.  It has been used (by default) for the older downloads adobe but can still be circumvented by opting for direct download.

  I noticed the following:

  When I change the column C011 (price) the following values are defined in dynamic action:

  P110_ID = f11_1

  P110_VALUE is everything that I change the price.

  When I change the column C024 (hms_flag), the following values are defined:

  P110_ID = f03_0001

  P110_VALUE = change everything what I hms_flag to.

  the region is updated in my dynamic action, and change of hms_flag does not take.  I tested the SQL query that generates the value of v_SEQ in the dynamic action.   Both a change of price and HMS_FLAG, it seems valid

  domain c024 references f03.

  dynamic ACtion, step 4 calculated v_member as a substring of P110_ID... and in all other areas, the column and the field (fxx) displayed the same value... otherwise c024.

  I'm not exactly sure how solve it, but see the problem.

I am also add comments and notes to document things not in the original manual or add comments that would help other programmers (who know other languages) to fit like the PHPs think - for example: in all the other languages I know (perhaps two dozen) to get rid of a file, 'delete you '. In PHP "unlink you" it.

  I added a lot of comments and notes like that and when I view the PDF in Reader (on this computer I 9.4.2) I see little boxes square on empty lines. The lines were created when I pressed ENTER twice to insert a blank line between paragraphs. (again, read the update at the top of this message - boxes are at the end of all lines, conditional jump or jump)

  How can I get rid of them?

  They are not present when I open with Acrobat PDF, only when I use an Acrobat Reader.

  They are also not present if I look at the comments using the comments navigation panel - in other words, they always show on the page, but they do not show in the copy of the comment displayed in the navigation panel.

  Problem solved - it is a police problem. Apparently Acrobat cannot manage specific fonts and it is best to stick to a very small selection of font - Arial, Helvetica, Times Roman.

  I am writing a small plugin effect, where I have one or two color swatches in the user interface.

  The layer I apply the effect will be PreComp (with 2 layers inside). So whenever I change the color of my effect, the color should be updated with the corresponding layers inside PreComp if fill effect they have.

  What I mean is that if I change the value of the color in the first color picker, it must change the fill color effect to the first layer inside the PreComp. And it's the same with the second.

  I know that its bit confusing.

  Now my problem is color is not updated correctly. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

  I tried to send a PF_OutFlag_REFRESH_UI, but it does not work. Perhaps this will refresh current only Comp.

  1. back up whatever it is that you do not want to lose in the profile folder of theC:\Users\(user-name) of this user account, If the profile folder still exists, to another location, and then delete the profile(user name) folder.

  Now - if in the first step you did that C:\Users\(your old username) doesn't exist anymore - I refer back to my first statement "backup."  He had disappeared before.

  In addition - something like Recuva * could * find something--unlikely if... especially given the duration of the use of the system has obtained from erasure.

  That said I want to make it clear that I'm am currently NOT having connection problems.  The reason for this post is, I would like to learn more about the mechanics of what happens when a temporary profile is created.  Specifically entries made in the register when you are logged on a "pro temp"; After logon windows will allow tickets/changes to be made to the registry, log entries of such remains perternant, sleeping, or are that they cancelled/deleted? Second, how would we go about creating a "pro temp" option, and it would be possible to connect to a temp 'pro' at will, without corrupting/move the location of the default user folder.

  I like to test a large NUMBER of beta software found on the net, needless to say, that's not very safe.  I also have novice users that connect on my PC constantly.  I've grown tired of reinstalling the operating system and other apps/progs, and since my PC is not strong enough to run VM ware, I thought I would look into "temporary profiles".  Finally, I would like to create a controlled environment where auto log on is used to connect to a temporary profile, and shift allows the Admin profile to connect.  However, no matter if the auto on feature log can be coupled with a temporary profile environment I would still give "Pro Temp" a race.

  In the efforts of not wasting the time everyone.  If all goes well, I made clear that I'm not interested to create a virtual environment, or by downloading the antivirus protection. In addition, am open to all suggestions.

  Finishing in my arsenal software is WindowsAIK, PowerISO, Auslogics Disk Defrag, jv16 Powertools Disk Defrag and Visual Studio 2013.

  I have connected to my account today and it showed 'Prepare Windows'. He signed me a temporary profile. I tried the procedure described in the above link and nothing seems to work.  The files and software on my desktop icons are gone (photo #2)

  All my files and software are always accessible in the 8470p folder.

  When I create a new folder, it will appear under TEMP. DBA-NB1314562 (photo #2)

  This is the second time this week, I encountered this problem. The first time I had the solution in the link above works perfectly, but it does not work for me now. I restarted my computer laptop too.

  Is there a way I can solve this?
