  I am installing a new time machine.  I can't find anything that clearly explain what exactly I'm clicking and dragging from the old to the new.  It States in the article apple in the Finder to drag the time capsule backup disk image to the new original airport.  I do not see that whatever this is called image backup drive when I'm in the Finder.  I have the following:

  OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.5

  MacBook, late 2009

  Airport Time Capsule, 1 TB, think its 3rd generation

  When I click on the time capsule (when connected via Ethernet), I see a yellow folder called data. Data are referred to as a sharepoint under type.

  When I double click on data, Finder displays the content on my time machine which are as follows:

  CS2 and earlier versions are more activated because the activation servers are gone.  You must download the CS2 buildreleased for customers who still use the old software or buy a version of Photoshop.

  Hello Michel I created a full backup catalog of 6 items on a USB stick (about 13500 pictures) then I opened 14 items on my new PC and select Restore Catalog. He asked for access to the source and I select drive E (USB), where there is a folder called 20160111 catalog of Photoshop, when I stress this, I created a new file appears in the window called Backup.tly, the only name that it will accept in the file name box is Backup.tly, if I'm trying Photoshop 20160111 catalog he does not accept it. I went with Backup.tly and indeed he did download a catalog and all the photos that I get a display in organizer with my original Albums and all the photos in their original folders but there is no indexing - no metadata, no tag, no subcategories, no categories. I can see the photos, but there is no functionality that all menus are gray except for turning a photo. Very welcome ideas.

  InDesign on Mac with 10.8 CS6 have problems with links. All links to other files need to be updated when you open a file, although absolutely nothing has changed for linked files.

  Thanks for your quick response.
  In fact, we noticed that there also seems to be something wrong with the timestamps:
  If we open the news via the MAC finder to a file (.psd for example) which is linked to one of our indesign files, it has a certain date of creation.
  If we then switch to the Indesign file that we just opened in which we had to update all the links and open information to exactly the same file looked at us in the finder, another creation date is indicated. So there also seems to be a mistake here (hope it is clear what I mean).

  Our network we are excluding the error cannot be "re-enacted". We have created several test files in Indesign (simple white page with a link to a .psd file which is also used in one of the allegedly defective files) and opened on different MACs with different versions of the OS over the past few days/weeks, but unfortunately files open without notifications or errors.

  Just as a background: a few months ago the problem seems to occur between MACs with different OS, 10, 6-10, 8 first. A file that was created on a MAC 10.6 could not be opened without updating all the links on a 10.8 Mac is why we've updated everything to 10.8.   my client has 2 sites, Production and DR. In Production, it has 1 PS5000X and 1 PS6000X, PS4000E 1 DR. All storage has different groups.

  EqualLogic Prod site performs replication on the site of DR.

  Now the customer comes to buy a new PS4100 that will replace PS4000E in the recovery site, which will be installed in the Production.

  The questions are:

  1. can I reproduce PS5000X, PS6000X and PS4000E to PS4100? Is it a replica supported configuration?

  2. How can I replace old with new PS4100 PS4000E storage without a duplication? In other words, how can I move all the data (mounted LUN and replicated data) from the old warehouse to new storage, without losing the configuration of replication?

  1 Yes, the replication is Firmware dependent, not limited by the hardware version, see the release notes.

  I have a Dimension 8250 with an 80 GB IDE hard drive which contains the OS (XP - Pro SP2) and applications. All data are stored on a separate file server.

  Is it possible for me to buy a new machine (490 precision work) and put the old drive in the new machine? I need to upgrade the computer, but want to avoid having to re-install all programs and restore the operating system settings, etc, etc.
