Hi all
2.5 years ago I bought L-750d-159:
Video: AMD Radeon HD 6520G (TM)
Wireless: Atheros AR9002WB-1NG wireless network adapter
CPU: AMD A6 - 3400 M APU with graphics Radeon (TM) HD
RAM: 4 GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Edition SP1, 64-bit.
BIOS: 2.1For the majority of the last 2.5 years I had the same questions, alternating between them over and over again without solution in sight.
Repetition of questions: *.
1. wireless adapter goes dead, no help of the troubleshooter in windows. Only restart help to, rarely he demans restart another. at the same time #2 arrives:2. cannot read USB (IE external HARD disk). allows you to restart.
3. wireless mouse does not respond. Randomly, reset help.
4 gel. Sometimes, when there is nothing running in the background. Of course, hard restart (only power button)
5. office freeze.not always, but if he gets in the mood, he could go the days where minutes after I start the 'word' it would just freeze. Hard reset again.
6. "atikmpag' blue screen. After not having it for a long time, I started just have it again.
7 power supply and battery issues:
7.1 with battery:
Suddenly load stops. disconnect and reconnect do not help.
Fresh only when the computer is turned off.7.2 without battery:
Instant stop. Usually when you use Chrome. These issues are alternating, everyday sense I get something else, without a prescription for them that I noticed.
* How to try to remedy: *.
1. updated all the drivers for the toshiba page.
[Page drivers Toshiba | http://www.toshiba.co.il/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp]2. update the BIOS. I do this cotton after having feeding problems, not so useful.
3. formatting and reinsalled Windows 7 to factory settings.
I am sure that there is a solution out there, the computer itself works fine for me (when it works) and I will not buy a new one, until it falls dead (I could give a year or two).
Are you guys famliar with these questions?
Here are the proven solutions for this model?

WLan problems could appear for different reasons. I don t think that it is a WLan driver problem. I think that you should just check the WiFi configuration.
For example, you should check whether changing the WiFi 1-11 channel would improve performance. Also change the settings for encryption (WPA/WP2-AES, TKIP) is worth trying.
Turn off all the settings for the WLan to save energy and check if there is a difference if you turn off the WLan mouse.> 2. Cannot read USB (IE external HARD disk). allows you to restart.
Also the issue of USB can be related to energy saving settings.
In the Device Manager-> USB Controllers-> properties-> tab power management option that allows the system to power off the device to save power.> blue screen "atikmpag. After not having it for a long time, I started just have it again.
This file/process is tied to the ATI graphics card. Try to use the latest graphics card driver. An update is recommended in this case.Battery issues:
Well, sooner or later each battery must be replaced. I put t know if your battery is malfunctioning but probably new battery would help to resolve the issue
In addition, to remove and uninstall the device control method battery Microsoft acpi located in Device Manager. -
Need driver for the wireless network adapter
I have an Acer Aspire 3680 2022 computer laptop and I need the driver for a network RTL 8188 S wireless adapter. I can't find it anywhere. I use Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.
It is unusual for a USB device does not find its drivers automatically. You have all the documents with him?

Laptop no longer recognizes Vista wireless network adapter
Well, here's all the info and desperately, I hope someone can help me. I spent hours and hours trying to solve this problem. I'm not a computer expert, so I'm trying to understand it and not doing a very good job.
We have a HP G60 Intel Celeron series. It is only 6 months old. It is probably covered by the guarantee but... lucky me... I did not save the receipt.
The computer crashed completely. It did not come with any CD, so I got the Vista cd, we had for our main desktop computer. Initially, the laptop had Windows 7 top, but since it did not come with any CD, I used what I had... that has Vista. The computer now works again but I don't have wireless. I looked under control panel, Manager of devices and do not see my info wireless. If I go the info only listed in the title of the network card is RealTek Family Controller... whatever it is.
I really don't know much about computers I was just hunting and pecking trying to download this or delete that... and I think I make things worse. Can someone give me some ideas on what to do?
Hello
Please change the above to remove all that white space, it is difficult to treat. :)
The version of Vista that you used wasn't probably OEM (from HP) for your computer.
HP will sell the disc of Windows 7 not expensive since you already own Windows if you need to
Make sure you know the Product Code to install it.Check the configuration/settings (BIOS/CMOS) often F2 when you start - make sure that the WiFi is enabled
for devices internal bulit - in. The problem is probably that or the drivers are not installed
If it is available for Vista. If a PC if "might" be on his own card - if so remove ALL power and remove and reinstall
the card - remove and replace - are not just tight.Check with HP drivers for your WiFi.

How can I set the preset wlan on ONE for an Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter running on a Vista computer. Currently, the default is OFF and I need to use the Fn F1 to bring up the option to turn it on, Iwant my laptop to connect to my wireless router automatically without having to do that.
Thank you
Hi Cath.
In most cases, it is a configuration in the BIOS of the laptop that will solve the wireless by card.
Then start the laptop enter in BIOS and look for an entry that configure the wireless to be all the time card.
Where necessary the manual or computer support site must have the necessary info.

Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 upgrade of the Atheros AR5007EG wireless network adapter
I just bought a new device Sierra Wireless mobile hotspot, the Pro of the Sprint Overdrive. The wifi connection works very well in my PC with the exception of a PC set that I am running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack two. I am told that the problem is with Vista and the Atheros AR5007EG wireless network adapter. The current version is 7.6.0.164 and it tells me the device Overdrive only with version 9.1.0.328 or higher will. What I can, and if I can, how to move the driver to the required version?

Wireless network adapter is not installed and configured
I have recently re installed windows vista for my laptop dell inspiron 1545. I am not able to connect to wireless internet, it says that the wireless network adapter is not installed and configured. How do I install it and where can I get the wireless network adapter. I have a cd or anything for it. Thank you
You can get in trouble with your device drivers, firmware and/or software. Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears. Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white? These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else). Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips. If you need to get drivers (and you shouldget from Dell for the wireless adapter at all you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates). In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm. Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html. > http://support.microsoft.com/kb/244617.
The adapter is inside the laptop. You don't need to do something with it to install it. Install the drivers, firmware or software for it and your version of Vista from Dell (all that apply) "install". You must then go to start / Control Panel / Network and sharing Center and configure the adapter with the appropriate parameters and to establish the appropriate network connections. This will take place in settings required by your ISP, and maybe your router or modem (so you may need to contact them if you don't know the settings).

dead dv6439nr wireless network adapter
Description of the basic problem:
A few days ago, I wake my computer from sleep to find that I couldn't connect to my home wireless network.Detailed problem description:
My WiFi is not listed in network connections.
The wireless device is not listed under devices in Device Manager, or it is in any of the other categories, and there is no "Other devices" category now to check.
HP Wireless Assistant does not open. Trying to run it, HPWAMain.exe appears in the list of running processes for a while, then closes immediately.
I tried using the switch to toggle the wifi but got no results. The light is still orange and wireless has not reappeared in all.
I have tried reinstalling the drivers wireless (sp41675) but got no results.
I tried to boot in to an installation of Windows 7 which has worked the last time that I used a few weeks ago, but the wireless device is not detected in Device Manager or Windows 7 network connection.
After each new attempt to solve the problem, I have restarted but got no results.System information:

My laptop is eligible free repair? Can I just send my adapter wireless for HP and ask them to send me a new?
My wireless card is labelled as "AS #: 418572-001 SPS #: 441090-001. An Ebay search for "441090-001" returns several cards of the same branded wireless network than mine and identical to mine in appearance. Instead of trying to get HP to fix my laptop should I buy a new wireless adapter and install it myself?
Users to read this, please answer the question if you have a relevant personal experience.
I read of clients receiving computers repaired HP with new damage (http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupport/questionanswer.do?admit=109447627+1245913498963+28353475&threadId=1143379), likely incurred during transport or repair of HP. After receiving a HP laptop repair, have you seen new scratches, dents, cracks, or other damage?I have my HP laptop, works perfectly.
To answer my own questions:
Yes, my cell phone was eligible for a free repair.
No, I couldn't send just the wireless network adapter (would have been a mistake anyway).
No, HP has not damaged my laptop.
I contacted HP and established that my laptop was entitled to repair to the title of "HP limited warranty extra Service. HP sent me a box with a prepaid FedEx label, and I sent them my laptop. Before sending to my HP laptop, I removed the hard drive; the low probability of my data get damaged was unacceptable; I have backed up my data, but that would have taken two days to USB data transfer speed. I got my laptop back to HP repair in the next few days and after a thorough inspection, I find no damage to the laptop caused by HP, if it was a lil dusty. For a while I thought I found a new crack loosed in a low service panels, but after looking at the photos I had taken before sending the laptop I found that the crack is not new, so Bravo to HP.
With the laptop repaired, HP sent a document that details the "motherboard" and 'Thermal Pad' had been replaced. I was curious to know exactly what work had been done, so I called HP and asked questions about spare parts references. The "motherboard" was part number 10MBZZZ0TPJ, which a Google search has this part is also known as 443775-001 and it costs about $190 to replace. The "thermal Pad" had JXAT3001010 part number, which I have found no info on.
CAVEAT! CAVEAT! NERD RANT!
Frankly, when I first called HP on the problem, the person I spoke to kept implying that it was the motherboard that needed to be replaced NOT the wireless network adapter, and I thought it was absurd; much more likely that it was a problem of component. Now that I have the confirmation that it was the motherboard, I am quite concerned that in about two years I'm going to need a different motherboard, and the "HP limited warranty extra Service" warranty only lasts for 90 days from now. Motherboard failure should be the exception, not the norm! I have several computers that are nine and ten years OLD and works very well when properly proposed. I have my grandmother using a desktop Dell Optiplex 2000 computer to check his e-mail. I have a Mac Powerbook from 1999 that I emulate video games and I'm using a ThinkPad IBM in 2002 as a jukebox for my Entertainment Center. A few months ago I was repairing 9 old Dell Optiplex (2000 vintage) offices, on the job had a bad motherboard VGA video and a keyboard bad connection PS/2; failure motherboard 22% after nine years! For the motherboard to miss my DV6000 since 2007 is ridiculous.skippyh2o:
Call HP. They will probably fix your problem for free.Harpaza
Why you reinstall vista in the first place? Have you tried to solve the problem with your wireless network card?If you have lost wireless once (first occurrence), reinstalled vista to try to solve the problem has got back wireless, and started to update and still lost wireless (second instance) then I would agree this is probably a software problem. If losing wireless after that resettlement was only the first occurrence of losing wireless, then maybe you should try re-reinstall. The point at which you lost wireless have actual hardware failure, it all depends on if you can get wireless back, willingly or by force. I knew my hardware problem and not software because I had an installation of Windows 7 that I knew worked very well, but still he could see my wireless network card.
In any case... Try calling HP. side of customer support call center jobs being outsourced in India, I must say that I am satisfied with the HP Technology Support; Although I'd be quite satisfied with the quality of their product!

Wireless network adapter could not be activated
My laptop also did EXACTLY the same thing in the morning today. No effect with the wireless on switch on the computer. The light is always red. Last night an automatic update that happened (update for windows Vista (KB955430) 09/05/2009 09:03), which cannot be deleted. It seems at this point that your wireless network adapter has a hardware problem. Check out this troubleshooting guide step by step on the HP Pavilion support web site. Dell Inspiron 1525 wireless network adapter
Quite all right, I bought my Dell Inspiron 1525 with Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I had a problem with it, and a "technician" incompetent deleted (!) Vista and installed XP. Now I finally had the time to reinstall Vista and everything is good, but I don't seem to be able to give life to the wireless network adapter. In fact, the applications and drivers that I downloaded seem even to see the wireless adapter, as if the equipment was not there. I'm really desperate because it's a vital function that I badly need, and my happiness to get finally reinstalled Vista has now turned into frustration, like the wireless was working with XP! Any help, please? I tried to download everything I could find at Dell, but nothing seems to work.
Do you see an unknown network controller in Device Manager (right click my computer, manage)? If Yes, what is the DEV and FRI ID for it (right click, properties, details tab, hardware in the menu ID drop-down)?

Windows 8 problem with wireless network adapter
I had a lot of trouble to stay connected to the internet with my college wireless network on
my laptop Windows 8. Especially when my computer is endearing to load a large number of data, the connection becomes limited and stops working. I tried many solutions to solve the problem, as going to tab the wireless one adapter power management uncheck allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. nothing has worked so far. solution? And I would update your WiFi drivers on computers. How far away are they
you have set in the router? Are there obstacles in the path?Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.
Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click
top - tab of the driver - write version - click on update driver (can't do
nothing that MS is far behind the certification of drivers). Then right click on the Wifi
Device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.
After watching the system Maker you can see the same device manufacturer
more recent versions. (Those become your fonts of rescue system manufacturer).Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other update

Disabled wireless network adapter
The wireless network adapter in my desktop Pavilion (WE167AA under Windows 7 Home Premium) maintains have turned off. This can be fixed about half of the time by running the troubleshooter from network problems, but the rest of the time, the PC freezes during troubleshooting.
The problem occurred only in the last two weeks, after nearly four years of perfect operation. I have no manual changes to configurations. Unfortunately I do not have a system restore point from before the show began. Performance on other wireless devices in the same room are very good, so I don't know that this is not a problem with the wireless itself.Hello @irpcoldicott,

Satellite L500-13z - Windows 7 does not recognize wireless network adapter
Hello
The Windows 7 RC Device Manager does not recognize my wireless network adapter (for example: Atheros, Intel or Realtek). I tried to install all the Toshiba support drivers, but none of them work:
After installation, they ask me to connect the unit to my computer (of course it is still on the motherboard!).
=>, Is there a way to know what is my Wifi adapter?
that one failed: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD7201PO000SR01.htm (this is the only Word to say "network adapter" with a yellow exclamation point).
-Online someone knows when will be released Windows 7 drivers on the website?
Hello
Before you begin to install all drivers WLAN you can find on the Toshiba site you must make sure that wireless network card, you have exactly. You can check in the Device Manager-online properties-online Details of the local network adapter device.
Need you an information like PCI\VEN_XXXX & DEV_XXXXIf you have based this information you are looking for with these terms on this site in order to determine the exact WLAN card:
http://www.PCIDatabase.com/After that, you can download the driver appropriate for your laptop. Before installing, you must uninstall all other versions and restart the laptop.
Also, make sure that the WIFI is enabled with the hardware switch and FN + F8.Welcome them
