I understand the frustration, but we really need your help in providing all the necessary information so that we can give you the best direction.

-You mention the disks you want to add are SATA WD Black drives.  Are what capacity?

-I've seen no mention of this BIOS you have installed on your system.  We need to know the level of BIOS that you use and if it is configured in legacy and UEFI mode.  If your system came from the factory with win10 installed, then it should be using the UEFI.  You can check by going into the BIOS Setup and going tab out.  There you should see a setting for "OS optimized by default".  If this is set to enabled, you are using UEFI.

It looks like you understand how the work of berries with the blind connect meetings.  With the integrated Intel controller, only those ports on the blind connect assemblies that will be active is those aligned with the left edge of the Bay.  Assuming you're the WD drives Black are 3.5 ", this means that when installed correctly in the tray, the tray must be inserted with the point/dash on the front of the tray down.  Drive 3.5 "would be an upside in the Bay with its connectors along the left edge.

If all this is correct, then the only other thing to check on the side of HW, is the wiring fitting blind.  If you do not see that LED lights up on each separate blind connect, this means power is connected properly.  Each square brackets blind connect to the motherboard via a connecting cable mini SAS black HD labeled "S / X".  Check along the lower edge of the motherboard to make sure there are two mini SAS HD cables marked S / X connected to each port (a SATA scored 1-2 and the other marked SATA 3-4).  It doesn't matter really what cable is connected to each port, but for easier identification purposes, you should be able to trace each cable to its location (so that the lower blind connect S / X sheets 1-2 SATA cable, and blind superiors connect S / X sheets cable SATA 3 - 4).

If all this is correct, then your wiring is fine.  At this point, you should see the readers that you add see the in the configuration of the BIOS under analytical system.  And if they are evidence of it, they should show in disk management in Windows.

It's a lot of info, we will so see if that helps and go from there.

I got sync Firefox setup on my computer at home. Now, I want to add my work computer to Firefox sync so that both machines will have synchronized favorites. Firefox instructions on adding a computer to Firefox Sync say click on synchronize in Outils\Options tab. But there is no tab sync in Outils\Options. How can I add my work pc to Firefox Sync?

The Sync tab appears only if the Firefox Sync add-on has been installed, or you are using the Firefox 4 beta builds. Looks like you need to install the add-on Firefox Sync on the work computer.

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c01713747.PDF

Replacement of optical discs with reference numbers HP are in Chapter 3, page 33.

You can also read the instructions in Chapter 4 on removing the drive and get the number off of it, which is normally on a white sticker.  A reference to 6 digit-3 digit number (123456-001)

You can search by the number of coin on eBay for a used camera but work or you can probably buy a new one at HP by entering the part number on the link below.

Hello! I need to replace the hard drive on my beloved laptop VPCEB33FM serial No. 27532133-3071590. that was purchased in the United States over two or three years.    I live in Switzerland and I think I might have to import a hard drive from the United States, how do I go about it and it would be easy enough to install it myself.  Is there a video I could watch that could help with the installation.  Thanks for any helpful answers.

Hi... you can replace the HARD drive with disk drive hard Seagate ST9320310AS or Hitachi HTS545032B9S...

You will find the site of esupport , HARD drive installation instructions... BTW, you need to use a recovery for the new HARD drive disk

What do I need install the second hard drive HP PAVILION: p6633w?

    Hello

You need two cables, one is a sata cable:

    http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/30305659/706331346/STARTech-com-6in-SATA-to-right-angle-SATA-serial-ATA-cable-female-SATA-female-SATA-6-inch-red/ListingDetails.html?_%24JA=TSID:13315% 7Ccat: 30305659% 7Cprd: 30305659 & kw = {keyword}

This cable is only for data and connect the hard drive to the SATA connector on the motherboard.

    The other cable is energy:

    http://www.itpartsdirect.com/STARTech-15-24cm-4-pin-Molex-to-SATA-power-cable-adaptor.html

It connects the hard drive to the PSU.

You can also buy a combo like this cable:

    http://www.Amazon.co.UK/DP/B00064GBT4/?tag=hydra0b-21&hvadid=9550951989&ref=asc_df_B00064GBT4

All you have to do is to connect the hard drive and that's it. Make sure that the main drive with the operating system is connected to the primary SATA connector (I think there are the numbers 1, 2, 3...)

  • I need to format the hard drive but don't have the windows vista disc to reinstall, but have had the key code that vista was preinstalled do I have to buy a new drive for vista

I need to format the hard drive but don't have the windows vista disc to reinstall, but have had the key code that vista was preinstalled do I have to buy a new drive for vista

    Hello

    How to reinstall Vista

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

  • Need a Windows 7 LAN driver

I am trying to upgrade my desktop HP Pavilion a6430f Windows Vista Edition computer Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium. The Microsoft Upgrade Advisor says I need to upgrade the Lan driver. The description of the device is NVIDIA nForce 10/100 MBPS Ethernet using Realtek RTL8201N. I can't find the driver on HP or Realtek sites. Does anyone know where to find the right one?

    Here are the specifications of your HP Pavilion a6430f desktop. According to the specifications, the computer uses an NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 chipset and a RTL8201N PHY Realtek network card adapter. The Realtek RTL8201N is the physical connection to the outside world, but the actual network card part of the NVIDIA nForce chipset. Please download and install the NVIDIA nForce Chipset Driver v15.49 for Windows Vista / 7 64-bit or NVIDIA nForce Chipset Driver v15.49 for Windows Vista / 7 32-bit -bit Windows version. This driver updates the following;

    Driver Ethernet (v73.14 +) WHQL

    (V73.16) network management tools "Sedona".

    SATAIDE (v11.1.0.33) WHQL driver

    SATARAID Driver (v11.1.0.33) WHQL

    Application RAIDTOOL (v11.1.0.30)

    SMBUS (v4.74) WHQL driver

    SMU (v1.71) WHQL driver

    GPU (v190.38) WHQL driver

    PhysX (v9.09.0428)

    Away Mode Driver (v6.0.6000.114) WHQL

    Installer (v7.57)

You can also update the graphics drivers GeForce 6150SE so. The current version is v306.97 and can be found on the same site as the NVIDIA chipset driver.

  • Changing from 32-bit Win 7 to 64 - bit Win 7. Do I need a 64-bit SCSI driver for my hard drive SCSI of WD32 00BEKT-00F3T for "clean installation?"

I am currently using Win 7 Home Premium 32-bit on my laptop.
I intend to switch to Win 7 64-bit and bought the full product and I am ready to install it. I hesitate only because a previous installation of Windows, I remember being trapped because I didn't have the appropriate manufacturer SCSI driver to install during the installation process of Windows (Vista?).
Win7 Home Premium 64-bit requires separate SCSI the manufacturer driver during installation (clean install!) or is automatically detected and installed with Win 7 64 bit?
For your info, my HARD drive is: hard drive Western Digital WD32 00BEKT-00F3T SCSI.
I see in the properties of the HARD drive under Win 7 32 bit driver running is a Microsft (Driver version 6.1.7600.16385) and so I'm hopeful that the switch, I intend require no road by the manufacturer, and that everything will be taken care by the installation of Win 7 64 bit.
    Can you help me, please?

Yes, you will need a 64-bit driver, there need not be a native driver for Wndows 7 64-bit, you can also use a Windows Vista 64-bit driver if one is available.

  • I need to replace my hard drive in my Samsung laptop, I have windows 7

I need to replace my hard drive in my Samsung laptop, I have windows 7. I want to reinstall it on the new hard drive running on linux but on install windows 7 on a virtual hard drive, how can I transfer the activation code

    In other words, you can't.

Assuming that your edition of Windows 7 is the one that supports the transfer of a virtual machine (i.e. the upscale home and more)...

You will need to do a clean install of the virtual machine, using the retail media and the key of the COA sticker.

You may need to activate by phone.

Note that Samsung have historically refused to provide any form of media except through a factory install. This means that it is almost impossible to install the original media for anything except the original disk, using the recovery partition.
