• Need recommendation for laptop - for video editing

  I'm trying to looking for a new laptop and need recommendations based on how I use the laptop.  I produce videos and mainly use the following programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Encore DVD.  I also use other software such as AutoFX PGE7.0 of photo editing.

  I currently have a HP Pavilion which is about 5 years old.  This office has the following specifications:

  For what you are doing you need all the horsepower you can gather. You have not specified a budget and with what you're trying to do, I don't think that it would be useful to think of anything less than a thousand dollars. You need at least 4 GB of memory and preferably 8. You need a 64 bit version of Windows 7. You need a quad core or i7 processor. Regarding the size of the screen, it's a matter of personal choice, but I don't see how you can get in with less than a 15-inch screen. In respect to the HP products you can consider the urge again, but the problem is the lack of an internal optical drive (CD/DVD type).

  HP is running a special offer on the dv6t Quad model with an i7 processor, $ 999 with a free upgrade to 4 GB of RAM and a concert full of video memory. While your P4 3.2 was the killer at a time where it was released, the dv6t Quad run rings around her, particularly in Photoshop. Make sure that you use a recent version of Photoshop with 64-bit and support multi-core. Also be sure to get the 7200 RPM hard drive, because it makes a big difference in video editing.

  I have a Pavillion Elite comes with Vista.  I have recenty update to Windows 7.  Windows 7 sees the driver for the Atheros a/b/g/n dualband wireless network card, and I can connect to the net.  However, when I install form MS updates, even if I do not update the wifi driver, the next time that a boot, the wireless driver is missing and that HP does not work.  Any help please?

If this is the case then it's good enough for a test case - we usually start with senior level (actual numbers for each group of companies, for example), then a subset of other different queries for example as per a level in the hierarchy of the org, by position, dates etc.

  Hello! Years ago my mother, I bought a fully functional, great Toshiba Satellite Pro 4200 working the place taken sales... Since that day, my laptop has not been used. But now, I found a few games nostalgic childhood of mine, who works only with Windows 95. I wanted to play, and I decided to install Windows 95 to my laptop. The installation process went well, it was a bit complicated at first because of the startup disk and such. But I managed to install a working fully Windows 95 in my laptop! But it gives me only 16 colors and no option to choose the resolution! So I found out that I need to install the video card drivers.

  I have google a bit and discovered that my laptop has chart S3 Savage IX. I failed to find the appropriate drivers for it. Until I went to your site to support canada and traveled for a pilot of similar laptops. I found Windows 95-98 compatible drivers for my card. The installation process was easy, is well past and fine! I then could choose 256 colors and another resolution (which I did not actually change...). I changed the colors and then restarted. Everything went well until windows 95 logo screen came suddenly to the top and after that I only saw colors and black borders. He did not start Windows properly. What can be wrong? At I have download the wrong drivers? Windows told me 2 different versions, IX and MX. I tried them both. Tried to change the Hz also, but nothing helped. Please help me!

  Edit: OH, BTW is the exact version of my OS: Microsoft Windows 95 Finnish b with USB support (I Don t know the version very very accurate actually... but I just mention that it is version B of the operating system.) Could this be the problem? I also tried the same driver downloaded from toshiba europe Web site, but it won't let me just install the drivers 'already installed' and they really are. I did not uninstall them, I tried to run the uninstall utility, but it doesn't work...!

  Normally, you can download all the drivers on the European site of Toshiba, but I only find Satellite Pro 4220, 4240 and so far but not 4200.

  To find the drivers for XP, you will need to visit the Web sites of OEMs making the individual components. Trying to install XP on an active AHCI system can cause you should be. It is easier to install Win XP with the BIOS SATA IDE options value.

  Realtek RTL8105E (download and install 7 article to the bottom of the list)

  Audio Realtek ALC662-VC1 (check accept, click Next, select 6th item down in the list)

• Pavilion dv7-1285dx: I need recovery for laptop HP Pavilion dv7-1285dx media.

  The hard drive failed and I replaced it with a new SSD. The recovery disks that came the guys from the Geek Squad at best buy will not work. Best Buy has said of them at HP and they would reimburse me. I can't find out how to order on the HP website.

• HP Pavilion 15 laptop: Need help, PC laptop HP Pavilion 15 could not boot from USB external hard drive.

  My desktop HP Pavilion P7-1074 4.5 years computer dropped last week. Planed to get a replacement on Black Friday or the day after Christmas. But I have to run some programs inside hard drve to the desktop computer. So I have attatched hard disk dive from my desktop to my laptop HP Pavilion 15 USB port with an enclosure.

  The laptop would recognize the external hard drive as a SYSTEM (F 62.2 MB of free space of 97.9 MB, OS (GTB-free 1.11 of 1.35 TB and HP_RECOVERY (H 1.33 GB free of 11.0 GB.))) But I couldn't find the program I want to run.

  I went into the BIOS to set the boot order to boot from USB first, but I could not get the result I expected. The laptop still start on its own hard drive. I tried all three USB ports, no one works.

  First of all, programs of a different version or windows session will not work on another computer as it was installed on the computer of origin at this time. It is an installation and application software, to the difference of the data or information that is accessible by any computer when the hard drive is connected. It is because no software installation binds the application of this specific operating system installed on this specific to the time machine.

  If the computer does not and the hard drive is accessible, all the content (such as music, photos, videos, and other information are accessible), but the programs have been installed originally are not available and will not work on any other computer when it is connected to the outside.

  However, if the hard drive works fine, windows is correctly installed, then the same hard disk can be installed on another PC of office and some of the programs should work ideally.

  At home, my computer connects to the internet by dial-up. Packages of 17 MB download may take a few hours, and I need Flash Player for Firefox and Internet Explorer.

  What I did was d/l product packages on a public computer with free broadband on a USB at home with me. However, I find is no longer a link to player packages. I can only find the link to the installation program, which, once run to install the product on the computer on which it runs.  If I take the home installation package I download once more for 2 hours for each version of the player.

  Is there a link I can use to d/l the product packages themselves, rather than the heel of the installer?  I need a link that will allow me to d/l for each browser, or a link for each browser package.
