Hey, I have a problem in Windows Vista:

I've been updating / updated my graphics card and it is the graphics card, I'm updating, after a while, a black screen will appear (PITCH BLACK) and I there is no cursor and I tried Ctrl + Alt + Delete, but nothing seems to work, after I turned off my laptop, starts to load then it was the new dark night! (NO LOGIN SCREEN). Then I turned off my laptop then I constantly pressed f8, then I pressed "Computer repair" then it loads then my screen showed "Another user", then I clicked it then I had to type my ID but I have no details of connection, I pressed on enter with no connection details, but this still does not work because I had to type in my login information. I tried everything, then I went to safe mode and fact a password and changed my admin account type, then I rebooted my laptop, then I have constantly pressed f8 and pressed "Computer repair" then it loads and then my screen showed 'Another user' again... .

PLEASE I NEED HELP! I WANT TO PLAY MY GAMES!

  • Help with Windows Vista black screen

I have a Windows Vista SP1 64 bit with 8 GB of RAM and 2 3850's Radeon ATi CrossFireX. in any case, I have a program called mechanical system, you've all probably heard before, this is an excellent program to clean your hard disk and defragment your memory. However, I ran last night and said the program automatically restarts the computer when it ended, after that he finished and I rebooted was greeted with the atrocious Black Screen of Death with a cursor, if it is not blinking and I can move it freely, but there is nothing I can do with it given the background task bar is non-existent and the entire screen is black.

I tried some of the solutions, I can not even the CTRL + ALT + DELETE to get into task manager and manually start explorer.exe; Help me please. The only type of response I can get from the system is to obtain the keys to stick to pop up when I hit the SHIFT key five times. I am very confused. I don't have external hard drives hooked up to it and there is no thumb-drive connected via USB either. I'm completely puzzled here. Please help me.

    Hello

System Mechanic, by Iolo is one of the best of this type of program, he's trying to at least
be legitimate, however it is still a Registry Cleaner and system optimizer that leaves a
much to be desired in terms of compatibility. These programs are more likely to ask questions
While fixing anything. Most are like snake oil. So my advice would be to uninstall. If you insist
use make sure you have done a current Restore Point before using it and keep current backups
    on the primary drive.

No saving necessary data and re-installing Windows Vista might be the best option, but here
    are a few others.

You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external
Drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD or other USB drives.
Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.

Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data.

Use Ubuntu Live CD to backup files from your Windows computer dead

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

A method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is CTRL +.
ALT + DELETE - Manager tasks and tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is available by
repeatedly tapping F8 as you start. CTRL + SHIFT + ESC also begins the Task Manager.

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
Difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect. You can try a

update of security (KB2676562) has already been correctly installed 21 times, began towards the end of May.  Update for Windows Vista (KB2679255) was successfully installed 35 times, he began in mid-April.  These two continue to update themselves every day and do it at least twice a day, back to back.  It is very frustrating to have to deal with that and makes me think that something may be a problem with my computer.  I had heard of registry cleaners is not not a good thing to use, if recently I not unhooked my registry free cleaner.  I hope that it has not caused my computer to lose any registry key values.  Does anyone know a possible solution or what I need to do? • Satellite Pro 4200 - need help for Windows 95 & drivers!

Hello! Years ago my mother, I bought a fully functional, great Toshiba Satellite Pro 4200 working the place taken sales... Since that day, my laptop has not been used. But now, I found a few games nostalgic childhood of mine, who works only with Windows 95. I wanted to play, and I decided to install Windows 95 to my laptop. The installation process went well, it was a bit complicated at first because of the startup disk and such. But I managed to install a working fully Windows 95 in my laptop! But it gives me only 16 colors and no option to choose the resolution! So I found out that I need to install the video card drivers.

I have google a bit and discovered that my laptop has chart S3 Savage IX. I failed to find the appropriate drivers for it. Until I went to your site to support canada and traveled for a pilot of similar laptops. I found Windows 95-98 compatible drivers for my card. The installation process was easy, is well past and fine! I then could choose 256 colors and another resolution (which I did not actually change...). I changed the colors and then restarted. Everything went well until windows 95 logo screen came suddenly to the top and after that I only saw colors and black borders. He did not start Windows properly. What can be wrong? At I have download the wrong drivers? Windows told me 2 different versions, IX and MX. I tried them both. Tried to change the Hz also, but nothing helped. Please help me!

    Thanks in advance,
    Jupstejuho of Finland.

P.S Sorry for my bad English...

Edit: OH, BTW is the exact version of my OS: Microsoft Windows 95 Finnish b with USB support (I Don t know the version very very accurate actually... but I just mention that it is version B of the operating system.) Could this be the problem? I also tried the same driver downloaded from toshiba europe Web site, but it won't let me just install the drivers 'already installed' and they really are. I did not uninstall them, I tried to run the uninstall utility, but it doesn't work...!

    Hello!

Maybe chose a resolution not supported?
This happens to you at all resolutions, or only one?

Normally, you can download all the drivers on the European site of Toshiba, but I only find Satellite Pro 4220, 4240 and so far but not 4200.

However, have you tried to do a BIOS update?
Before installing the graphics driver, you need to update the version of DirectX.
You can find the Toshiba site:

  • Windows Vista black screen after startup

    Hello!

I have a pc HP G60 with Windows Vista. After the updated pc, I couldn't use Google Chrome (it crashed and said 'Whoa Google Chrome has stopped working') after reading a few posts, I decided to restore the pc. So once I did this it worked fine. The next day Chrome stopped working again and not so my Mozilla Firefox (it says THAT XPCOM is not found) and I think it was because as I closed the previous night there are more updates running on the computer. So I restored around 4 or 5 times and the last time I have done that and restarted the computer, that he was really a lot of time with a black with just the mouse screen shows so I shut it down by pressing the power down button (bad I know). Now, whenever I turn it on, you can see the Windows loading screen with the small bars at the bottom and then there is a black screen with white text, requesting that the operating mode (safe mode, normal mode, etc.) and then after I decided to use it says loading files or something like that in the white text then just a bunch of names to run it on the screen. However, after that then it goes to a black screen with only the mouse showing. Someone knows how to fix this? I tried pressing the f8 key and I tried pressing the power button for 30 seconds without energy sources and put into market as Sigma_08 says in this post:

    https://social.msdn.Microsoft.

and the CTRL ALT DEL, but it still does not work. Is there something I can do? D:

    * I tried all modes (normal, security) on the start screen (it opens with this screen every time since I closed it the wrong way.

Hello! Thanks for the help! I have not tried, but because it turned out that I was pressing f8 at the wrong time, then tried again before the windows logo showed on the screen and was able to use the Repair Options and then system restore and this time he solved the problem! Problem: I'm catching up after startup, it does not show the vista logo but showed the loading bar, doesn't make it to the login screen. Instead shows the bright black screen with a cursor, the cursor moves freely. Ctrl-alt-del does not work, StickyKeys is sound but no visual. So we know that this abomination of windows load.
