I need help installing service Pack 1 (sp1).
I tried several times to install service pack 1 (Sp1) with engineers at microsoft, but nothing is. They give up the ball after several unsuccessful attempts to install sp1. I need someone who could help me to install the service pack. I need help!
My second question is to unblock my e-mail account. I have all the major issues in this account. Live mail engineers just keep going in a circle without end. I've provided all the information that they need to unlock the account, but they don't have yet does. I need help here too. !
Sincerely,
Eli Cham.

NEED HELP WITH SERVICE PACK 3. After downloading and the computer goes into rebooting mode I get the screen to restart with three options, network security safe mode and the other thing. , but it of although he gets, he keeps countdown to restart and reboots and restarts, over and over again, never reboots, same screen. my computer won't let me out this screen even after I turned off the computer and turn it back on, I get the same screen. the only way I can get out of this is to erase my computer everything and bring it back to factory, right out of the box, this big headaches. Thanks for anyone who can help me. PS. Keep the answers in simple terms please.
Hi BSRC$, in stock
- You have security software installed on the computer?
- You receive an error message when you restart the computer?
Reinstalling Windows XP to the factory setting would not be the first option.
It is possible that some third-party programs or the services installed on the computer interfere with the installation of service pack 3.
I suggest that you try to uninstall service pack 3 from the computer by using the recovery console and subsequently ask the article below for what to do before installing the service pack 3on the computer.

As you can see not SP3 for Vista.
As you can see, the Zune Player requires XP with SP3 not Vista with Service Pack 3.
Requirements for the Zune Player-
http://www.Zune.NET/EN-AU/products/LearningCenter/zunesoftware/gettingstarted/pcreqs.htm
Microsoft Windows 7 (all editions), Windows Vista (all editions), Windows XP with Service Pack 3 (home, professional, Tablet PC, or Media Center Edition 2005 with Rollup Update 2) or Mac OS X with Boot Camp running Windows 7 or Windows Vista.
If you use a Windows 7 64-bit edition or Windows Vista, please click here to download the Zune software.
Software Zune will not work on versions of Windows prior to Windows XP SP3, all the versions of 64-bit of Windows XP or any version of Windows Server.

I recently had to use the restore disc that came with my computer. Accordingly, I now have Internet Explorer 6. To switch to IE7 or IE8, I need to reinstall the Service Packs. I can download them, but I can not install them because I have IE6 and downloads could not connect to the server. How can I fix?
Hi wildcar
You can go directly to Windows XP SP3 . Download and install it from the link below.
Windows XP SP3.
http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=24
Ignore the text that says: it is only intended for Professional computer and network facilities.
Important note: If your system has an AMD processor, download them and install Microsoft windows update utility for the processors not intel from the link below, before you install Windows XP SP3.
Update for Windows XP (KB953356)
http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=23751
After you are done you can try to install ie8 again, if it has not already been offered through windows update.

Please tell me what error Code 0 x 80070005. I can't find it can.
The 80070005 error is "Access denied" - and often refers to activation and validation problems.
To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response. -

Cannot install Service Pack 1 after 4 years, Windows Vista Factory restore
I have a Dell XPS ONE and used the option to restore to the factory due to several problems. The system is 4 years old and maintain a 4 year old Windows Vista Home Premium system proved to be too much for me to handle.
When I try to update Windows, I managed about 60 updates, but then I get to the SP 1. He tells me that it is installed, but then I go to the update again and it tells me that I need SP I... I can go through the same indefinitely, SP 1 installation, but he always tells me that I need to install Service Pack 1 even if it was just installed successfully. Aparently, SP 1 is not installed correctly, but it tells me that it is installed. It is not!
In the meantime, I can ' t reinstall Norton Internet Security. He tells me that I need SP2 for Vista.

It is good, that you can not install Norton Product. Stop trying. No McAfee either.
Avast, AVG, Avira , or UnThreat are choices fine (free option).
You could spend ~ 60USD during two years of eSET NOD32 AntiVirus (not more - just product AntiVirus) and which would be more worthwhile.Regarding SP1 - do this manually. Windows Vista Edition _, _ - bit? [Fill in the blanks]
Download and save the SP1 that is appropriate for your architecture of Vista (32-bit or 64-bit) operating system (on your desktop). Reboot and logon. Right click on the saved file and choose Run as administrator. Follow through until it's done and restart with 5 minutes between each restart twice.

Then download updates post-SP2 via normal means.

XP - cannot install Service Pack 2 and 3 in order to install anti-virus protection.
I need to install Service Pack 2 and 3, in order to install a virus program. I currently do not have one, as my Norton Antivirus program should be uninstalled. I can't get the Windows Update page to download. Is there another way to get to this download? I want to get do it as fast as possible, as I am currently without any virus/spyware protection.
Thank you!!
If SP2 to SP3, is not installed, you could not possibly have a functional application of the antivirus installed and missing a value of more than four years of critical security updates! It is not a chance in h * that SP2 & SP3 will install with your computer in its current state, Erica.

My automatic update did not work, so I went to the site to try to download Service Pack 2, one seemed to have trouble with my computer. After I downloaded it, I tried to run, but he said I had to download Service Pack 1. So I did it. When I try to run this file, it says I have already installed Service Pack 1. So I tried to restart the Service Pack 2, but she is always claiming that I need Service Pack 1. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Can anyone help? I'd be happy.

Hello
Try to re - install ZoneAlarm on laptop, BUT it tells me that I must upgrade to the Microsoft Windows Service Pack 1 (SP1) to do this... I am running Windows Vista and when I click on windows update it works for literally hours without anything happeneing.
Zone Alarm has a key valid license - but for some strange reason, he will not have, so I had to uninstall and reinstall ZoneAlarm - he tells me that I need this update - who will not come?
Note: Windows Firewall is turned on right now and when I look at 'exceptions' does not offer updates of windows as part of the selection list.
Please, any advice on this will be greatly appreciated.
