  I downloaded Dreamweaver CS5.5 1and1 hosting when I was hosting with them many years ago.

  I want now to upgrade my PC and hover over Dreamweaver as I use it daily and it works wonderfully for me.

  The problem is that I don't remember if I used an Adobe ID to register the software or what Adobe ID I used all these years.

  If you can't find your serial number and a replacement is out of your budget, try media. It is a web development tool free and open source, created by Adobe. There is no management features of file and location that makes Dreamweaver, but it is a good modern tool. You can use FileZilla to transfer your files to your sites. Another free tool, open source, which is great.
