  I have two clusters, with 3 hosts first and second with 2 hosts. And I have a few questions about the activation of DPM:

• Blue screen (BSOD) and communicate with GPIB instruments

  I have a communication problem with a Pressuregenerator of PCS400 of Mory via NI-VISA. My simple application sends requests to the instrument and reads returned responses. These actions are performed in a while loop until you press the stop button on the front. The VISA-resource is initialized before the while loop and closed after leaving the loop.
  Now the problem is that the computer will work in a blue screen with the message "NMI: check / memory parity error parity." This blue screen can be caused by switching between the programwindow and another window (for example the file Explorer) - I know it sounds strange. Then the blue screen appears after about 20 seconds. The computer worked stable in the daily work with windows.

  I have already tried several things
  -Wait a while (up to 30 ms) after writing and reading of VISA-online blue screen
  -Communicate with the Agilent 34401 multimeter with the same program (but other requests of course)-online no crash!
  -Test memory on system for about 45 hours with memtest86 + -online no found error
  -Stresstest with Prime95 (product 100% of CPU load) for about 1.5 hours on windows => no crash

• Variables shared on the CFP becomes zero and communicate with the PSC

  I use a PC with two network cards, one on one wired ethernet, the other on a private IP directly connected to a PSC-2120 (running 6.0.5 full). I use variables shared on the CFP and aliasing to static variable on the PC (initially LV 8.6, now 2009f2 with the same problem in both). PC variables are stored in a database of the Citadel. I have the CFP program built to run at startup, and it works fine when not connected to the PC.

  When connected to the computer all variables shared on the CFP will from time to time (almost 1/min for a few seconds) and randomly becomes zero. Even if they are resized only not to allow to become zero. I can say that what is happening because I use the variables shared as relay alarm thresholds module, and relays to suddenly slam on. I confirmed this by checking that the CFP has written to its internal flash memory card, and indeed variables suddenly are nil. On the PC it says that it cannot connect with the shared variables. This happens although LabView is not running on the PC!  Manager distributed system variables shared on the CFP are listed as (disconnected) during this time, but it continues to be able to read the correct values to live of the CFP entered the module.

  Interestingly, I have the same computer with the same configuration (and a PSC-2120 different) that does not have this problem. Both PC's are new from the factory. I tried to disable the second ethernet adapter, closing all wall-lights/virusscan and re - order network cards in windows networking/advanced settings without success. Simply disconnect the cable between the PCP and the PC does not cause this problem and shared variables become zero does not trigger the network on the CFP monitoring parameters.

  My questions are:

  (1) this problem can be fixed?

  (2) lost communication for a few seconds is OK, but given the PSC variables become zero is not. Can I stop the variables of the PSC to become zero?

  To update my previous post, it turns out that the re-installation was not the solution (the problem of variables start again occurring began). I finally realized that this only happens when I put the CFP time server IP (under Additional Configuration to the MAX). I was upgrading the server time on 192.168.1.1 IP (the IP address of the adapter of the CFP has been directly connected to). However, this compensation setting solves the problem.

  I do not think that the time on the CFP must need to be addressed too often (and perhaps it is synchronized if I never re - deploy files to the CFP?), so I guess that leave it empty. Curiously, I have the same setup time on an another PSC server IP and PC (running LV 8.6) without problem.

  I think you want to add a submenu to the menu of poetry to your site.

  If that's what you're looking for, all you need to do is add child pages to the page of poetry in outline view and create a structure of page to something as shown below.

  Then just open your master page in Design view (the one where you inserted the menu), click on the blue arrow icon to access the Menu options and change the type of Menu for all Pages.

• Dynamically loaded swf to communicate with the MovieClip on the stage

  I have a devil of a time here with a problem. I've got an xml document when it is clicked on a certain button on the stage, it loads its corresponding external swf into an empty movieclip on the stage. This empty clip is support for all external SWF.

  So what I'm trying to do, is when an external swf is loaded that has buttons on it, I need these buttons to communicate with the main timeline and delete an mc who is on the stage. I need the swf (s) currently loaded to be able to do. So whatever the currently loaded external swf is loaded, I need to talk to the main timeline. (I have external SWF files a certain need to do this) So I guess I have to somehow target the external swf currently loaded so he could talk to the main timeline.

  The code below in summary does not, but it gives no errors either. I don't pretend to know what I'm doing, and I did not find a solution to this particular problem. If someone could give me advice or direct me to a solution. I would be so happy.

  In the table below "Office entry Worksheet - area 1" I am trying to insert a formula in column B which will result in an answer ' true / false ' and be used for conditional highlighting

  

  The first condition that must be met is that the checkbox in the table "Labor and material Checklist" column A or check, if it is not checked, then move to the next line. If the box is checked, then the following condition would need to index and match with column C of table "Office entry Worksheet - area 1" in column B. If there is a match in column C, then move to the next line of column B in the table 'labor and material Checklist '. This continues until there is a 'match', then highlight column B in the table "entry Office sheet - surface 1" in red (or something like "MISSING task")

  It is an estimate and the idea is to ensure that the Phases that are checked in the table "Labor and material Checklist" will not miss when you use the table "entry office map - zone 1".

• Control valve tank with plots and twists of the water

  Hello everyone!

  This is my frist real project. And I am in love with this program so far!
  I have a little problem. Here it goes:

  The project of the University which has been given to us is to simulate a (entrance OPEN/CLOSED valve) water tank filling and emptying (output range of 0 to 100% valve), but with a few twists. It is done by the command to the movement by the following formula: flow rate [%] = position of the valve [%] * current water height [%]. (The output valve takes values in percentage from 0 to 100% giving the voltage digital output of 0 volt to closed(0%) or 5 volumes for open(100%), the strange part, is that the digital output can have a value of 0 or 1, so the position of the valve is "simulated".) And the supply valve (valve entrance) water can be open or closed (if 0 or 5 volts)

  -Sequences cannot be used (only one for initialization and cleanup can be used)

  -When the water level reaches 10% of the max height, LED lights, the output valve closes and the input valve opens. The LED is on until the button is pressed. The output valve cannot be opened until the water height is greater than 50%.

  -When the water level reaches 90% of the max height, LED lights, the entrance valve opens. The LED is on until the button is pressed. The output valve cannot be opened until water height is less than 50%.

  -There are two mode selectios:

  Control by hand: the person sets the position of the valve in percent and the flow is calculated by the formula and displays on the screen.

  Automated: Every 2 seconds the program assigns the place valve so that the current is constant, it is the value by the person.

  -(N'ont pas gottern ici encore) ESD (Emergency shutdown switch) the when is pressed both the entry and exit valves are closed. The entrance valve cannot be oppened up to the RESET_IN key. If the program is 'Control in manual mode' output valve cannot be opened until the RESET_OUT touches. In which case the output valve is in "Auto" mode, it does not start work until the RESET_OUT touches.

  My main problem here is the fact, I cannot use sequences and nested, then the loops do not work. The aqusition of data stops until the inner circle loop ends and I need both work. Especially for the 50% rule.

  I've been hitting my head for a few days and still couldn't come up with a solution.

  For the time being the outputs inputs/digital analogue are a simulation (when the time comes the USB-6008 material is used).

  There is some things that confuse me (as if the valves are percentage, from 0 to 100%, or digital, 0 or 1), but regardless, it's a detail.

  Review the task and consider what you want to do and that the "States" the system may be in.  [This with a pencil and paper, do not open LabVIEW yet...].  The description of your problem learn you something about the transition from one State to another.  Here is a thought exercise:

  Suppose you are in a "State".  Let the system to "do its thing" for a second, which could involve the water flow.  At the end of the second re - evaluate your state - it changed?  Continue to do this...

  This model of 'something' is called a State Machine and LabVIEW has some very good examples and tutorials on the creation and use.  The important things to do before you make your coding is (with the pencil and paper) decide on your statements, decide on the transition rules, and then you are ready to code.

  There are different ways to build a State Machine in LabVIEW, but the basic idea is quite awhile (to keep things moving along, a shift register which includes the current state, usually represented as an enumerated, Type whose values are simply the names of your States (made for a very mnemonic routine) and a Case statement whose power is the State of the shift register that contains the code to achieve this) particular State of loop, including the implementation of transitional rules (which can cause a new State on the registry to lag when it comes out of the investigation of the case).

  A great exercise.  Strive to keep your block diagram on a single computer screen by making use of the screw subgroup chore (as the management of changes in the water level based on the current water level and "States" (which here means 'values') two valves).  Once you understand the 'Idea' State Machine, you should be able to write the code for this problem quite easily.
