There is no place in upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7, so disabling or uninstalling, so be it, you will need to do a custom installation.

    The upgrade to Windows XP?

Please read these instructions carefully and completely before you begin installing Windows 7: there are important steps that you must follow to upgrade your PC from Windows XP to Windows 7 in order to preserve your files and settings.

Before you begin, you'll need to backup all your data to an external storage device, and you will need all the installation discs for the programs that you want to keep. Please make sure that you have an external hard drive (see details below).

More detailed instructions are available at windows.microsoft.com/upgrade-windows-xp. Here are the basic steps.

    1. start Windows Upgrade Advisor (windows.microsoft.com/upgradeadvisor) to see if there are known issues that may affect the installation and the question of whether you should install the version of 32 or 64 bit Windows 7.

2 back up your files and settings on an external hard drive using Windows Easy Transfer (windows.microsoft.com/windows-easy-transfer). If you do not have an external hard drive, you will not be able to use Windows Easy Transfer. Alternatively, you can copy the files you want to keep on a USB stick, CD or DVD.

    3. you will need to manually reinstall your programs, such as Microsoft Office, after I installed Windows 7. Gather the installation for your programs and all partner/license product key discs. You may be able to download programs from the Internet. For example, Windows Live Messenger can be installed from the download.live.com/messenger.

    4. Insert the Windows 7 DVD in your PC. When asked "which type of installation you want. Click on "Custom (advanced)."

    5. when Windows 7 is installed, use Windows Easy Transfer to restore your files and settings.

If you are not comfortable Windows 7 installation, check with a local retail or the services of the PC company store to see if they offer upgrade services.

  • MacBook Air stuck in the installation during the upgrade to windows 7 to 8

I have windows 7 installed on my macbook air and today I got windows 8 pro upgrade for upgrading my macbook air to windows 8 and made sure I had bootcamp 5 installed. the first time I tried to install it went well until I got to the section where it says customize when you start windows 8 and none of my keys or trackpad work in it, I can't get past the section even pressing on enter. the second time I tried to install trackpad ++ is supposed to be the best driver to trackpad for windows 7 and 8 and thought that could make me past the Customize step and who does not. and I went as far to plug my usb wireless mouse that works with windows 7 and tried at my friends House who has windows 8 and y and the custom still mouse appear.  What should I do to get my trackpad work / what can I do to get past the custom screen. If I turn off my macbook air and then when I restart it says windows 8 installation failed, return to the original windows operating system (windows 8)

    (the preferences screen)

-p.s. I write this on another computer and my mac is a macbook air mid 2013 with all installed bootcamp drivers

This seems to be a known issue with trackpad Apple for Windows drivers and apparently only for Air. It is recommended to plug in a USB mouse, go into Device Manager and disable the devices on trackpad (Apple Multitouch and Apple Multitouch mouse under Interface devices), install the updates, restart the PC and then re-enable these devices. (then you can detach the USB mouse).

    Hello:

Your model is pretty easy to install W7 x 64 on.

If you let me know which model of laptop wireless card is came with, I'll post the link to this driver too.

I don't think the drivers wireless since the page g7z-2100 driver will work.

Here are links to most of the drivers you need:

First of all, download and install the AMD chipset driver and restart.  To install the smbus and usb3 controllers.

    http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/chipset?OS=Windows 7-64

You can then use all the other W7 x 64 drivers and software the g7z-2100 on the link below (except maybe the wireless).

  • Is the complete software reinstallation required after the upgrade to Windows 10

    People,

I have Win 7 Professional and opted for the upgrade to Windows 10. I have a number of licensed, like MS Office software, complete Suite Adobe and Autodesk software, for which I have no media or installation Setup files.

My question is after upgrade, I have to reinstall everything on my machine or all these software installations will be kept? Because I lost track of the installation for all these software media, it will be very expensive for me to buy everything new. App 'Get Windows 10' has not reported any of this software.

This was one of the main reasons I couldn't move to Windows 8, reinstall all of these software are unaffordable for me.

I'd appreciate any help on this matter.

    Thank you

    SID

    NO.

The upgrade to Windows 7 or later will preserve my personal files, applications, and settings?

Yes, the upgrade to Windows 7 or a later version will keep your files staff, settings, and applications.

    Backing up your computer:
When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

  • Again - the EULA allows to keep Windows XP after the installation and activation of a retail upgrade to Windows 7

The EULA allows to keep Windows XP after installation and activation of a retail upgrade to Windows 7?
I understand that the EULA (EULA) prohibits the USE of the operating system upgraded - must also be removed from the system?

I intend to upgrade a pre-installed Windows Media Center 2006 on a Gateway computer to a level of detail to Windows 7 Pro 64 - bit.  I am adding a new hard drive, as this case nears end of life... and plan to install the operating system upgraded to the new HD - because I have XP 32 bit to Win7-64 bit... and a "custom" installation is necessary, anyway.

This will result in an operating system XP on the old hard drive and the new OS Win7 Pro 64 - bit on the new drive.  There have been suggestions that the answer to this question is simply to remove the "old" operating system, after activating the 'new' Windows 7.  However - I see that any installation (or REINSTALLATION) of the operating system upgraded to Win 7 requires the previous XP to be "present on the computer.

QUESTION: as long as I don't 'USE' the BONE replaced/implemented to date, I am in compliance with the EULA?  Alternatively, do I install "over" this Windows Media Player OS - on the old, due to lack of hard drive?

The Media Center EULA States: «...» "15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After you upgrade, you can no longer use the software upgrade of. ... ', but is silent (as far as I can find by reading the EULA on the question of if software upgrade HAVE to be 'destroyed'.)

    (See: http://download.microsoft.com/Documents/UseTerms/Windows%207_Professional_English_7bb89e9f-20ea-4555-892f-394539ec1090.pdf "")

Thanks for your review (a reference to the appropriate Microsoft documentation would be nice too)
    John

You said above, «...» "You will be able to upgrade to Windows XP, it is a qualification license... »

And I assume you are talking about my software Windows XP Media Center Edition (currently installed), as being a "qualification licence".

    That is right.

Are we in agreement that a copy preinstalled OEM of Windows XP Media Center Edition IS extendable with a 'detail' update the license for Windows 7?

His qualification, but you can't make a real room upgrade, you can do a custom installation. See the previous post on how to migrate from Windows XP to Windows 7. An upgrade maintains the personal files, settings and installed applications.

I understand the ban on using the OEM OS software OR the upgrade replacement software on one computer other than the one on which it was originally installed by the OEM.

I also understand that I cannot use the "improved" XP Media Center software, once the upgrade of Windows 7 has occurred.

The rest to determine if it NEEDS to be deleted or replaced... you have no guidance on this issue?

Well, when you perform a custom installation, in essence, it is deleted or replaced. Then, it is part of the upgrade license. It's like it becomes a mind is more tangible, but always there as a base to which the upgrade license may exist on your system.

Who knows where to find all the drivers for Windows XP and Windows 7 for HP Pavilion n072sy-15 Notebook PC?

    Hello:

XP will not install or run on a PC with an Intel 8 series chipset, so you need not be concerned with finding drivers.

Here is the link to a template that you can use the W7 x 64 bit drivers from.

When you install the graphics drivers, first install the Intel HD graphics driver, reboot and then install the graphics driver nVidia.

In all the hearts of Windows games, it seems that they do not know the rules.  The Queen of Spades is just like a heart in the real rules. I don't have to play the Queen.  If hearts have been broken, and all I have left is some hearts and the Queen of Spades, I can play a weak heart rather than being forced to play the Queen.  The windows game apparently does not know this rule.

    original title: rules of hearts

    Hello

Actually if the Queen of Spades breaks hearts and cannot therefore be considered a heart
is optional. The basic rule is that the Queen of Spades does not break hearts and must be conducted
If a player has the Queen of spades and still hearts if hearts have been broken.

My preferences are the Queen of Spades or a heart can be played on the 1st round Sub in the Clubs.
And the Queen of Spades does not break the hearts and must be conducted if only he and hearts are
left in the hands and hearts have not been broken. Those who make for much more difficult game
