  If you have any other suggestions as to what part I need, or if I have to take a completely different approach to the repair, please let me know before ordering the part of LCD screen.

  First of all, let's say that computer 1 to the desired favorites. Computer 2 is where you add the Favorites. Go to the computer 1 and save (export) your Favorites. Go to computer 2. Your Favorites from computer 1 are now in place.

  I don't think that the video card will return in the space provided.  It is 11.2 "in length.  It would take a case full size so that it can adapt.

  With respect to the power supply (PSU), I can't say the plug if it is a standard ATX.  You can measure the existing PSU and compare it to the one you want to buy.  You will certainly need to upgrade if you replace the video card.  Most newer cards of mid-level require at least 400W to work properly.
