I never get tired of him always asking me to remember passwords. Can I disable this?

Whenever I go to a new site that has nothing to do with a password, Firefox asks me if I want what he remembered. It makes me click on 'not now' or 'never '. Y at - there a way to do not ask this question. I never want to remember a password on any site. Please advise me as to disabling. Thank you.

You can disable the registration of passwords here:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Security: passwords: [] "Remember passwords for sites".

  • Machine Vista "frequently", but not always, ask user name and password to access the public folders on the XP machine.

    Location:

    4 x Vista computers
1 x XP computer acting as a server file, all the data in the "shared folders".

All 4 Vista computers were to access shared data on the XP machine for two years without problem. All of a sudden this week one of the Vista computers "Frequently" but not always ask for a username and password to access the machine XP - not only shared folders, but still a list of shared resources on the machine XP via my network places is the result in the box of "connect to" request credentials to appear. All 3 other Vista machines have no problem to access the XP machine, so the problem must be with the a Vista machine.

To put a spanner in the works as I have said in this case "Frequently" and by that I mean probably 9 of the 10 connection attempts. Let's say, you can see the name of the computer in my network places, you double click it and have asked for credentials, cancel the attempt and to repeat 4 or 5 times and then you could get display shared resources without going into the details of connection. For a few minutes, you might be able to access all the shared data and to navigate through the folders, but then all of a sudden have asked you credentials and can not access to anything, even the files accessed you seconds before.

Lets say you are able to access the shared folders, you navigate to the Parent folder, then under A folder, then a subfolder B, go back to A notebook, then try to access folder B even once and you get guest credentials, quit out of the network completely locations, navigate back to the XP via Network Places and this machine you not even be able to display all the shared resources on the XP machine.

I've also set up a shared folder on a Vista machine with matching username and password on the machines and the Vista machine with the get the problem exactly the same problem so this definatley Vista machine with the question and not sharing files on the XP machine.

Here, you can always download FULL version:

    Firefox > Options > advanced > update.

  • Envy 17 Notbeook PC: SimplePass always asking to confirm the password on Windows 10

Since the upgrade to Windows Pro 10, about a week ago, this happens whenever I try to drag to connect with SimplePass: I get a dialog box asking me to confirm my Windows password. I have to enter twice, and this works for me to open a session, it's boring. Why should I use SimplePass to save time logging if it asks me to enter my password TWICE?

I've never had happen before moving on to Windows 10 and now it happens every time.

I solved this problem on my machine.

I went to the control panel in windows and clicked on element for HP SimplePass. He forced me to drag the fingerprint reader to continue.

Once on the HP SimplePass screen came, I noticed in the upper-right icon (to the left of the help symbol) that looked like a laptop.

By clicking on this icon checked for an update update was available, and he confirmed that I downloaded and installed. After the restart, I had actually had to go back to HP SimplePass in Panel configuration, and then click settings and change it to add my fingerprint.

It now seems to work for me.

  • All of a sudden this morning, I started to get a security certificate on persistent pop up. I changed all the settings I can think, nothing is. They come every few seconds, no matter what website to go. How can I disable this thing?

The pop-up says: "this page requires a secure connection which includes server authentication. The issuer of the certificate for this site is unknown or untrusted. Do you want to continue? "And the choices are Yes, no, display the certificate and more information.

It cripples my ability to use the computer, because trying to track clicks is like playing a video game. And where did it come from? Why is it only began to happen this morning? Any help is very appreciated.

    Hello

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you ALREADY had on this
machine, including those you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

If no joy there's something blocking perhaps.

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE with no Addons - what works best?

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security tab - click on reset all default areas - apply / OK

Close and restart IE or IE with no addons

    not better?

IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install
"(and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again)." Search for other possible problems.

Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right. Permit
are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program to ask about it here.

Could be that a BHO - BHOremover - free - standalone program, needs no installation, download and run - not all
are bad, but some can cause your question (toolbars are BHO).

  • Whenever my cursor passes over an image on a web page, I get a popup for Google, Twitter, Facebook, and Gmail. How can I disable this?

This happens on each image on a page. Why anyone in their right mind would want to tweet, google, gmail and facebook every single picture on all the web pages they visit throughout any day given? The tile that just obscures the information I actually want to read. That's why I'm on the web page first place and did not tell him all on a site that is now rendered unreadable by some thoughtless and commonplace programming room. If it cannot be turned off I will be dumping Firefox.

My best guess is that there is an addition on / toolbar which is annoying. You can try to find the add on / toolbar and disable or you could also reset Firefox by clicking 'Help' > 'of troubleshooting information"and click on"Reset Firefox"near the top right. Do not hesitate to ask if it does not help.

Hi, try to change the zoom level (Ctrl and + key, or Ctrl and - key). - The font size and zoom - increase the size of the web pages.

Note: It is possible that your NoSquint extension is changing the default operation, if so, either turn it off, or look at settings - modules Manager Ctrl + Shift + A.

  • Some of the messages I'm getting seem to appear randomly in my drafts folder - how can I stop this?

I used save as draft before, but now the messages seem to just randomly appear in the folder. At the same time, I got 200 messages 'project', messages, I had already sent. It takes a kind of problem of "timer", that is, if I leave the PC for a while without having 'saved' message, I'm working on.

There is a default parameter to save a draft every 5 minutes if you take a lot of time to compose a message. The setting can be found in Options/Preferences > Composition.
