Try these steps and check the result.
Step 1: Manage audio devices
a. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
b. click hardware and sound.
c. under sound, click on manage audio devices.
d. click on the playback device you want to output sound. Right-click in the empty space and click on see the disabled devices to see other devices.

New Windows 7 and Firefox - icon in the taskbar, but will not display the window on the screen. When I put the cursor on the icon the little windows show which is open. When I run Firefox, it opens normally, but when I click on + for a new page, the new page has 9 small windows on the screen. I searched for help and tried to delete the history. Now the 9 pages are still there but empty.
This is a new feature. It is expected that when you open a new page rather than it is empty it has miniature pictures that you can use as links to open the pages that you use frequently. The content of the page can be customized.
It is easy to turn the feature on or off, click on the small grid gray icon top right.
More permanently, the feature can be disabled if you prefer. Also note if you use the private browsing mode pages can read is not put in a new tab as a thumbnail.

If you updated to Creative Cloud 2015 and some or all of your CC applications show 'trial start or buy now' in the desktop app creative cloud, or if you launch any product of CC 2015 and the pop up displays a test message window, please check this link for the resolution:

Cloud programs don't use serial... numbers you, connect you to your cloud account paying to download & install & activate... you may need to sign out of the cloud and restart your computer and log into the cloud for things to work
