• Cannot download and install programs or well they will not start when it is installed

  1. have you made changes on the computer recently?
  2. do you get an error message when you try to install the Blackberry connection?

  It is possible that another installed 3rd party program or application is causing the conflict with this installation. Also launch Skype on own startup and check.
  You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.

  This can happen due to connection problems, malicious content or third-party programs.

   

  1 have you tried all the Troubleshooting steps?

  2 is the computer, or a printer attached to a domain network?

  3. are you able to print from Notepad?

  4. what documents do you speak?

  5 is the full error message?

   

  To check if it's because of connection problems malware content follow the steps mentioned below:

  In my view, that it is a software HP printer problem. Please, try the following:

  If you have the HP software on your PC support (printers, etc.)
  the disc when the pop-up window displays a location '1'. Click Browse
  then open the HP disc in the CD drive. A named icon status should
  appear. Click on this icon and load. This will get rid of the
  Status.msi loop.

  Uninstall what you can the normal way via the Control Panel, and then use the CS cleanup tool.  Then try to reinstall. You might want to try an installation download rather than the disc if it continues to fail.

• XP is connecvted wireless and a LAN suggested, but IE will not establish a connection.

  Not exactly what was the problem.  However, that's what I did and I am running.

  netsh int reset resetlog.txt in MS-DOS.  Also, I went through some difficulties of winsock and finds a file corruption in the winsock and winsock 32 registry.  I found the solution on the forums for microsoft and then went through regedit and deleted winsock and winsock 32 registry.  I guess that my ip is not allowing the connection.  Thanks for all the help, and I'm happy that I saved $99 to have my ISP repair remotely.  See also Microsoft Security Essentials and a Live care, I found 17 bugs and 2 other registry errors.  Free malware and antivirus, it probably coulld have saved me all of this in the first place.

  It's not like you have purchased an upgrade to Photoshop.  You say 5.5, which I suppose is CS5.5.  Photoshop Elements is a watered version of Photoshop that is not an upgrade, unless you have earlier versions of the PSE and PE you don't have versions of qualifications required to use updates.
