  I think that my Mac Pro (early 2008) is infected by evil ware.   It seems that you need more informoation on "remote differential Compression. Refer to the following information.

  DRC is a technique of compression used when synchronizing files. If you're not sync files between computers and it bothers you for some reason, turn off the function. When compress you a file using something like zip the entire file is in archive. There is a theoretical minimum size for a given amount of data, beyond this limit, you can press no more.

  DRC is different because there is already information on the other computer. You can have a terrabyte of incompressible data on one side of the link, but if know that there is something very similar on the other side of the link, that you can reuse, maybe just by saying 'the new file is just the old file with these three bytes added at the end.
