Hi Dan, try to run the cleanup (helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html) tool to completely uninstall CC to your computer, and then reinstall the desktop app: creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

With Lightroom, I can only choose 'Try' under 'Apps' in the creative cloud, which does not seem to recognize the LR5 key recorded, even if I am logged in with the same email address.
You must get rid of the creative cloud application manager, and you must get rid of Lightroom. The creative cloud version does not have a serial number. It depends on your Adobe ID and password in Adobe. After uninstalling Lightroom, you can download from the following location and install this trial version:
Adobe - Lightroom: For Macintosh: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1
After you install the trial splash screen will appear and there is an option to indicate that you have a serial number. Choose that option and you will be able to enter your number.
There is no free subscriptions to the creative cloud. There is a trial subscription that you can use for 30 days. But when it gets to end programs no longer work and you no longer have access to the cloud to create Adobe.

I bought a new PC and re-uploaded the plan of photography after signed in Adobe CC with my credentials. Sometimes I get a notification on a trial version of Adobe Bridge and I wanted to make sure that I downloaded Lightroom and Ps for my plan, trial versions not. I just down loaded terms of photography twice, once on my first computer and a second time on this computer. Please advise and thanks in advance.

I recently installed the trial Adobe XI and end of the trial period, so I wanted to revert to the version that I already had. I didn't know any uninstall feature and my old version is apparently replaced by the trial version. I can not re - install a version previous b/c I need a product Id (God alone knows where it is now) and a way to uninstall the trial. Any ideas?
When you installed the trial, it should have been an option for ignoring your current installation and let. Apparently you skipped this case. To uninstall the trial (in Windows) go to control panel > programs and features and select XI Acrobat and choose uninstall. After uninstallation, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html to clean your system. HOWEVER, if you see your old Acrobat in this window, do not run the vacuum cleaner, but do a repair on the old version.
You did not mention the old version you had. You could try http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. With respect to S/N, you should have the registry and if so you can get it from Adobe. The instructions are at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload.
Be sure to save any download of the old Installer and the S/N for CD or HD backup for future use. They will likely not be available.

I would like to know how to download and install a trial version of the stand-alone version of Lightroom, without the use of the cloud.
For some reason, since I work for most of my time in the areas where it is very difficult if not impossible to have access to the internet, I would like to have a standalone version of Lightroom to work on a photo library on my Mac HARD drive.
The only option that I find on the Adobe site, try first to install CC.
I'll be grateful for any help.

Why it becomes disappointing for new enthusiastic people wishing to get Adobe products of course after using a trial version of Adobe Premier because it seems to be a problem of techanical with trial versions. My God, he must continue waiting waiting and waiting... Finally shut down and forget Adobe. It's really disgusting that we're wasting a lot of time in this wasted effort. Can you please put me in touch with support for the trial version of adobe acrobat pro XI that I had tried on 15 March for 30 days. I tried to cancel because the cost is too, and Acrobat Reader are good for me. I can't uninstall program.
I had to wipe my drive since then with the trouble with Apple Store without acknowledging my machine and Time Machine reloading gave complications. Can you please cancel my trial and make my money from trial.

Adobe does not charge for the 30 day trial, but it seems that you have subscribed to Acrobat Pro (as a simple app for creative cloud membership) return March 15. To cancel your subscription, please contact customer service.

Rename the opm.db file.
- Close the application of Creative Cloud runs.
- Navigate to the OOBE folder.

Mac OS: /users/folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / OOBE - Rename the file opm.db in opm_old.db
