I would do these things:
Download and run TDSSkiller from Kaspersky Lab:
http://support.Kaspersky.com/viruses/solutions?QID=208280684
Download and run Hitman Pro from here (refuse the installation of toolbars, decline any e-mail options, nothing to do with Bing or MSN, a time of scan, no emails and activate the free license):
http://www.SurfRight.nl/en/downloads/ (make sure you get the free version)
Then:
Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:
Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/They can be uninstalled later if you wish.
Restart your computer and solve the outstanding issues.

Removal of Trojan:dos / Alureon.E... Tried to withdraw with some anti-spyware and virus software removal already he has still not removed on Windows 7 Professional
Please keep in mind that Alureon is considered to be a rootkit and the recommended method to make sure that it is removed is a reformat and reinstallation of the operating system. I would carefully monitor my computer residual signs of infection.
I hope that you have successfully deleted malware.
Good luck...

Had problems with the netbook from Toshiba and ran Microsoft Security Scanner. The scanner finds six threats, removed, Trojan:Win32 / Alureon.DX all but one, who has been partially removed, but requires manual steps, said.

Trojan:DOS / Alureon.E
How to completely remove Trojan: BACK / alureon. E Windows XP. Microsoft Security Essentials and Microsoft Security Scanner, say that they have 'partially removed', but it's still there and Security essentials appears still show it as a threat. How to get rid of this thing?
It seems that Avast detected a hidden partition very likely created by Alureon. That's where MSE and Microsoft Security Scanner fail and are what is meant when the message that the malware had been partially deleted. If you have not already done so, click the FixMBR button at the bottom of the window of the aswMBR scanner. Allow the process to complete confirming to all guests. Do not restart yet.
It's the hidden partition.

In the new window to scroll to the bottom of the list in the pane left and double click on disk management. Allow the list to fill in the right pane. Once filled locate the hidden partition. Right-click on it and choose 'delete '. Confirm to all guests. Now, restart the computer. After the return after you have performed the following steps for additional instructions.
Edit: Also, you have a system dual boot?

Virus Trojan:Dos\Alureon.C
Is there a process to remove this virus and get my laptop working again. I ran microsoft removal tools (MSE) and he found 5 infected files. Deleted 4 of them, the said Trojan:Dos\Alureon.C to removed manually. The tool provided no support to do this. At this point, my boots of machine up but there is no program, no browser, no network. In safe mode, I can see the contents of the C drive, but nothing shows up on destop and 'start' > all programs > is empty. Any advice.
Try TDSSKiller.exe mode without failure.

I reinstalled Windows 8 - so where the photo come from?
A strange, although I do not know there is a perfectly simple explanation. According to the title, I reinstalled Windows 8 completely. It's a Sony Vaio so I used the recovery mode via their button Assist, which erases all files and folders and everything installed apps etc and recovering the laptop in the same condition it left the factory.
All right, but on the home screen on my tile Photos it is a picture of my dog that I took earlier. If everything has been cleared, where the image comes from? I have absolutely nothing added since then reinstall it and I checked all the photo related to records and there is nothing there.
It appears with a Wi - Fi off so it's not picking up any other device. I'm totally confused as to where is this picture of. I can't find anywhere on the computer, but it's obviously there somewhere! Any ideas?
Hello
I apologize for the delay in response. I would like to ask you:
- You are connected with the Microsoft Account?
When you use a Microsoft Account, user settings are synchronized. So when you sign in with the same id on another computer, you can see the same settings that can include the image that you see as a thumbnail.
Hope this information was useful.

I have this file in my Windows/temp folder. It is 9.8 MB. I have also several other "sp" name of files in the same folder. Where did they come from? Can I just delete them?
Thank you
Paul
If I'm not mistaken reference you the files are temporary files from the print job, you made and can be deleted safely.
