Yes. You will need to use another computer to burn Windows 7 ISO.
1. in ImgBurn select write to disk image file
2. navigate to the ISO downloaded
3. change the write (lower-right) at 1 x speed.
4. click button (lower-left).
The product key will be on a label on the underside of the computer, possibly inside the battery compartment. It will be a colorful Microsoft label.

When I reinstalled win xp pro it didn't install any help net drivers that I can't get on internet
If you cannot access to the use of the internet, another computer and save the driver on a CD/DVD/card reader.
Download network drivers for Internet
Visit the manufacturer's Web site and select your model (this is usually done in the Support section). You should be able to download drivers for your model if they have drivers for your version of Windows. Download the driver and then follow the instructions to install.

Is it possible to replace the hard drive with an SSD? or would it be too expensive?
Is it possible to replace the hard drive with an SSD?
or would it be too expensive?
Yes. There are several alternatives. I found a way relatively inexpensive, using a map of mSATA (very small SSD) and an adapter to connect it to the connector IDE 44 pin internal of my PowerBook. It works very well. Rather than repeat what I posted previously, you can watch these two topics (which also has good info, other users)

FYI - I have used the adapter is even cheaper now

Problems with folder permissions after replacing the hard drive
Hello
Recently, I replaced the hard drive on my mac. Already before the replacement, I got the files that I had locked. Now I'm unable to open the file. I get the error "the folder 'nom_de_dossier' can not be opened because you don't have permission to see its content". I looked at the permissions for the folder and everything he says is fetch. I ran a command in the Terminal and for one of the records in question, that's what I see-

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Running OS X El Capitan
10.11.4 version
Try this first:
Start the mac all holding the SHIFT key, it is slow, connection, and then select Restart from the Apple menu.
When this does not help:
Reset password utility in the recovery Partition:
- Restart your computer from the recovery partition.
- Open disk utility and run a repair permissions on your boot volume (in ElCapitan click the first aid tab). Once this completed, close disk utility. We do this for good measure.
- Open a Terminal from the Utilities menu. Type in resetpassword and select your user (NOT administrator system/root) account in the menu drop-down.
- Click on the Reset button at the bottom of the window ACL section and Reset the folder permissions.
- Exit the utility password and return to the main recovery menu.
- On your keyboard, press ⌘ + Q and restart your computer. It is very important that you don't hold down the power button to exit the recovery session, or the ACL Reset to occur.

Replacing the hard drive on my Portege A200
Hi, I would like to replace the hard drive in my a200 with a bigger, but I don't know how to remove the current, just wondering if any of you guys could help me?
Thank you james
Hello James
Unfortunately the A200 does not for me, but the concept is still the same. At first check if you can find coverage of HARD drive in the lower corner of your unit. If you can't find it from the outside as it comes to the very complicated situation. It is possible that the HARD drive is under the keyboard.
If you have not many don't experience do it alone, because you can damage something, and the guarantee is no longer valid.
Good luck!

Equium A100-338, replacing the hard drive
Hi, the hard drive from my Toshiba Equium A100-338 just broke down on me, and now I think to replace. Because I'm not good material, I thought I have ask for advice about it here first. Is this an easy repair that can be done on your own? If so, how can I know if my computer match which new hard drive? I know that I need a 2.5 inch Sata-150 and all that, but I'm not sure of the compatibility.
In addition, it is worth the money to make repairs like this on such an old computer? I wouldn't throw it out when everything else seems to work very well.
Hello
In the Toshiba forum you will find here with some nice instructions how to replace a HARD drive on the different laptop models.
I found a movie that explains how do on Satellite A200.Replacing the HARD drive is not very delicate, and the process is similar for all models of laptops.
Check it out:

Re: Tecra A9 - 11M - replace the HARD drive with a larger
I have a Tecra A9 - 11 M with Windows XP Professional installed. I would like to replace the hard drive with a larger drive and install Windows 7 Professional.
Any suggestions on recommended records say 500 MB?
Difficulties to install Windows 7 on this model?
Hey,.
> Any suggestions on recommended records say 500 MB?
I assume you mean 500 GB and not 500MB, right? ;)Well, the Tecra A9 already supports SATA interface and there is no limit of capacity on SATA interface, so you can install a 500 GB HARD drive or more (750 GB, etc.). Just make sure that it s 2.5 SATA HDD.
You can choose each brand of HARD drive because each model will not work. You can buy a Toshiba HDD, Western Digital HARD drive or another. No problem ;)

Replacing the hard drive HPE-140F
If my hard drive is dead, finally.
This am he came SMART error (I think I have that right) and then I got a blue screen of death, and now it does not start.
System Restore no longer works.
My user id and all my data files to a different drive on the system so that the only things missing are system, I have the restore disks for programs that I have all the CDs for. The original drive was a 1 TB to format into 2 partitions.
Can anyone recommend a good replacement?
Unfortunately, I need a replacement quickly, so I'm going to need something that I can buy local produce and install, not through mail order.
I think a replacement of 2 TB, but the machine that will handle as under windows 7 64-bit boot drive?
That do I do on the original 2nd partition, I like do the restore on this partition, it is if I can get even the old data by car and transfer to it.
Thank you
Bill
It took a few days I had to order the new hard drive and it has shipped.
I reinstalled the OS and it works very well.
I have a few other problems will post new threads is they don't are not resolved when windows has finished finally updates to itself.
Thank you

Satellite L300-A13 - how to replace the HARD drive?
I need to replace my drive hard because I got a disc error and I could hear noises from him. Someone knows the size of the current hard drive replace (either 3.5 SATA or whatever it is)?
No space memory but actual size, so it can fit inside my computer and someone know a tutorial to replace by yourself?
Hello
To replace the HARD drive, you need a 2.5 HARD drive SATA interface. These 3.5 HARD drive you want to say are only for desktop PC s peut t used in laptops to buy a 2.5 so one.
But it makes no difference which manufacturing you buy the HARD drive or the size. Just look for a 2.5 HARD drive SATA interface.
Replace the drive is pretty easy: just remove the two screws on the underside of the cover of the HARD drive. You can exchange it.
I know because I have the same laptop. ;) -
Equium - how to replace the HARD drive?
Hello
I need to replace the hard drive on my Toshiba Equium.
Can someone tell me the procedure? I changed it once before, and I remember having to press one of the function keys when I turned on the laptop with the new hard drive installed.
Should I have the recovery disk when the laptop is turned on with the new hard drive installed?Thank you very much
Tim.
Hey,.
You should take a look in your user manual. Sometimes you will find a detailed how instruction replace the HARD disk, but it according to your laptop model.
If you swapped the HARD drive, you need to reinstall Windows. Therefore, you can take the Toshiba Recovery disk that will restore the initial setup in a few minutes with all the drivers and tools. You only have to boot from that drive and that s all! :)

Re: Satellite P200-178 - how to replace the HARD drive?
Is it really possible to replace the HARD drive on this model? I have another satellite & which was 2 screws & pulling on one leg, job done.
The P200 has an opening apparently get actually on the HARD drive but it gets you on the underside of the car, so I think that you will have to pass the upper part by means of the keyboard.
Can anyone help? I lost 70 pounds on a HARD disk that cannot be mounted?
Thanks in advance
Hello
As far as I know on all models, it of possible to swap the HARD drive.
According to the user manual on the underside of the laptop it is a case of HDD for HDD1 and HDD2. This coverage is provided by one or two screws, I think that should be deleted. After that, you are able to exchange the HARD drive.
Take a look on the underside. HARD drive swap is not complicated and can be done in a few minutes. :)

Qosmio X 500 - 10W - can I replace the HARD drive with another?
Hello
I have a Qosmio X 500 - 10W with two drive HARD Toshiba MK5055GSX 500 GB 5400 RPM 8 MB? SATA II but is one of the hs so I'm wondering if I can be replaced by a more powerful style, drive HARD 750 GB 7200 RPM / min 16 MB Toshiba courses?
Thank you
Hey,.
Your question is a bit hard to understand, but I think you want to replace the HARD drive with another (faster) model, right?
Well, that s no problem. 7200 RPM hard drives works, they are a little stronger, but they're faster so if you need more performance without problem.
750 GB or more are also no problem because the SATA interface is not the limited capacity. Theoretically 1 TB or more should also work.Anyway, you can buy the 750Go you mentioned that it will work. :)
