  Well, my email has been working well for weeks... until a few hours ago.  I'm on a brand new Sony Vaio running Windows7.

  I use Windows Live Mail as my email client.  All of a sudden I recvd the error messages seen below.

  I have studied the problem and the solution.

  IF YOUR INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER IS
     ATT OR SBC GLOBAL
  AND YOUR EMAIL CLIENT IS
     WINDOWS LIVE MAIL
  AND YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM IS
   WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM
  AND IF YOU CAN RECEIVE MAIL
  CAN NOT SEND to MAIL
  BE SURE TO CHECK THE FOLLOWING SETTINGS:

  Outgoing (SMTP) server port should be 587
  and CHECK the box that says "my server requires authentication".
  Do NOT check the SSL box.

  Click APPLY at the bottom, and then close the Windows Live Mail program
  and then reopen it.  This should send messages in your Outbox (as appropriate).
  To speed up this process, you can click on the SYNC button on the MenuBar at the top of WML.

  If there are no messages to send, compose a new message and send it to yourself.
  You can click on SYNCHRONIZE to watch status box open and show you if it sends.
  Check also sent box and Inbox for sending TEST msg.

  * also, if you have been told by AT & T or SBC GLOBAL who to check your email on the internet you must go through Yahoo.com and enter your full e-mail (att.net OR sbcglobal.net) and enter your log in password, then your email POP3 and SMTP settings must also include the following:

• Thunderbird is not save my password even if I continue to check the Save password box. Fails to retrieve mail when I check the box.

  Recently, I've migrated my profile of Thunderbird to a new computer. Everything works great, except that Thunderbird doesn't remember my password for the account. I am the only user on the machine, and I check only one account, so I don't want to set up a master password... I want just the program to remember my password for the e-mail account. I get the question 'Do you want to save your password?', every time I run the program... but if I check the box to do this, mail is not retrieved. (No error message, just nothing happens.) If I get the password without the box, the mail is retrieved. Even with the sending - I wonder for the time of password the first by session I have send a message. If I check the box 'Save password' send fails. If I do not check the box, sending passes.

  This has been a consistent behavior for about a month now. I'm not just randomly in the password incorrectly. It happens that way every time.

  That is what it is? Y at - it a fix for this? I want to just Thunderbird to remember my password.

  • Close Thunderbird now - this is important
  • Scroll down - find and delete this file: key3db

  At the password prompt, enter the password and select the "Manager password use to remember the password" check box and click OK.

  Note: If you use a product like CCleaner, then it's probably compensation info session and password. In this case, you will need to make an exception for files of thunderbird in CCleaner to stop cleaning Thunderbird.

  I bought my HP Pavilion dv6 laptop 2011 as it starts a is overheating, freezing windows with noisy fan sound etc... but now, on information in BIOS boot indicating that the CPU fan has stopped working so immediately, I checked that I couldn't hear any noise from fan and no symptoms as fan works so I disassembled my laptop and removed CPU cooler fan only. Simply with the help of the battery, I checked the CPU fan it is running perfectly alone. but it does not work with the laptop.

  Please help me and guide what is the cause of this problem and how to solve this problem.

• When you try to print, print poster page 6 instead of 1 page even when I checked the shrink for 1 box of page. Helps nothing in the layout.

  When I try to go to print preview a web page that should pring on 1 page only, it shows that it will take 6 pages to print the web page. In page layout, I checked the therapist to adjust the width of the page box. On my laptop, s print preview the page correctly - 1. Something needs to be adjusted, but I can't find the answer when I click on file/Page Setup. Help, please.

  Shrink to Fit only affects the width of the content, not length.

  I think that your problem has to with the size of the paper selected in prefs printer via the button's properties. Probably an odd-ball small instead of Letter or A4 or a "custom" setting If it isn't, maybe that margins are set too large or margins are "b0rked" altogether and need to be reset.

  I allowed for students to install the version of LABVIEW. I'm new to the LabVIEW.
  I installed license Toolkit LabVIEW Digital Filter Design in my laptop. But I can't find the options of digital filter in treatment of the signal from the controls palette. Its not there despite the installation. I checked in the license OR Manager he said toolkit Digital filter design has been enabled for this computer.
  Can someone please help locate specific digital filter of this Toolbox options? How can I check the functions in the range control to the Toolbox, I installed?

• All of a sudden get mail entering, but cannot mail not have checked the settings

  Thanks to your volunteers!

  Up to late last night, my outgoing email was working fine.

  Then when I tried to send a complex message that referenced multiple e-mail addresses (do not know if this is part of the question), I could not send the message. The process stopped at about 47% of fact, so I eventually canceled.

  Since then, whenever I try to send via Thunderbird the system times out with the following error box message:
  "The message sending failed. The message cannot be sent because the connection to the server of SMTP mail.twc.com expired. Try again or contact your network administrator. »

  I have confirmed my outgoing mail settings, including the port 587 with technical support Time Warner Cable, and I have confirmed that my mail into and out of Time Warner works very well in their WebMail.

  I searched files *.eml under Temp by a score of Trend Micro for Thunderbird taking over 30 seconds to send and have found no delete.

  Any other ideas?

  At least, he confirmed that their server was not the problem (it is running etc.) and make sure that these settings are correct and up to date is one of the steps mozillaZine told me to do the theme of "Cannot send mail", sub-heading of basic troubleshooting.

  During this time I find another piece of advice Thunderbird online (I note where) who told me to run Thunderbird without addons, and I managed to find where in Thunderbird to disable them.

  I was then unable to get Thunderbird to run at all (by clicking on the icon did nothing) BUT when I rebooted by computer, I was back in business and a moment later successfully send email - and very quickly as in ancient time before sending had begun to slow down.

  So I'm all set. This can help others, maybe, so I'm documenting.

  In response to your comment, it's a shame that so many help desk people are forced to stick to a script, isn't. But I found some very useful from time to time when the problem did turn out to be at an end.

  Check if you can access e-mail using a webmail interface.  If it works, check with your email provider for the correct settings for Outlook Express.  Only you and your email provider know what are the correct settings.  Your email provider's website must have the appropriate settings listed, but you must acquire your username and password from your service provider directly.

  It is a waiting Group network Invitation causing your problem. To resolve this issue, you must decline the Invitation by following these steps:

  1. click on Contacts.
  2. click on discovers invitations.
  3. click on groups.
  4. click on No, thank you.

• Mail server settings change whenever Windows mail is open.

  How to proceed?

  You can change your email associated with your media profile.
  I have 38.3.0 and I can access all my email accounts I suggest you try the initial tests:

  Start T-bird with disabled modules.
  If it works on your module is to blame and you need to activate one by one.

  Start your operating system in safe mode with active network.
  If it works probably your antivirus is blocking or delaying. (Or driver).
