Since it is an OEM version that the 3rd party "key finders" will not help you. Don't bother to google for them.
The only solution is to call the manufacturer of your computer...
1. tell them your situation and see if they can help on the key issue of product.
2. If they say "can't", ask them to send you a set od recovery disks. " THS cost is minimal and the money will be well spent. The game will save your computer when the computer breaks down.3. at the same time, ask to speak to a technician. Ask the person if he or she can teach you how to access the recovery Partition and how to use it to restore the system.
Suggestion #2 and #3 do NOT require the use of the product key.

Cannot find the product key and can not use the gift cards to buy Windows 7 from retail store
Original title: Let Down by Microsoft Retail store
My daughter lives and breathes on his pc. We had some tough times lately, and of course, his computer has had too many problems. In February of this year, I bought a Win 7 Home Premium for his pc. Since we moved, so I can't find the package with the product key, or the disc. I have $75 in gift cards from Microsoft, I need to buy new win 7 hp. Almost all retailers (in store and online) competitive price a new copy for about $119. We have been saving, and with gift cards, I would have just enough money to buy win 7 hp for my daughter. I went to our Microsoft store in the Mall. (Don't forget I saved for about 6 weeks, we are on a budget, then gift cards have been a miracle!) Guess what? The only place that I can use the maps from Microsoft wants $199.99. To add insult to injury - I can't use gift cards for purchases in line-HELP! We waited 2 months just to be left out... I am very disappointed by Microsoft.
I thought that we recorded our product with Microsoft when it was originally installed, but cannot find anyone. All solutions? If you have purchased windows is installed a keyfinder allows you to recover your product key.
I think that the price of $119 is to upgrade xp/vista to windows 7.the $199 price is for the full version. -
an error message appears on the screen. He said: my activation for windows xp time has expired. It won't let me even log into my computer. What should I do?
A little late to ask now?
You should still be able to log in Mode safe to backup your data.
You should not use your manufacturer to reformat/reinstall your system recovery system - if you do not have the disk and the recovery partition is not always work, then contact the manufacturer and see if you can order a set of disks on their part. You may also be able to order a series of a reputable third party provider, such as the the restaurant - disks.com

Hello
Here are the different ways to reinstall vista
Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer
Ask them of the exact key sequence
or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer
they contain all versions of vista

Suddenly this week 7 Windows has stopped working and the error message said I might have a non-genuine copy, etc. I checked the product key by using the Start/computer/properties menu. The product key was not the same as on my PC, so I tried to get the right version. Then I got the error message that you have entered the product key will not work with this edition of Windows 7, and I want to run Windows 7 set up or enter a professional product key.
I saw that someone else had been advised to run MGADiag.exe so I've already did but am puzzled by the report. And I'm worried, why me nice Acer desktop PC suddenly did that, when he had worked happily with normal updates etc. The report shows a different product to the label of my PC key.
Can someone help, please
Thank you

How can I remove an earlier version of windows after installing Windows 7?
I had Vista installed when I bought the computer, but when I installed my free copy of Windows 7 upgrade it have not migrated user to the new operating system files, and the old files are still there. How can I remove the old files without damaging the currently installed version? Is there a place I can have the whole system analyzed to see which files should be deleted and those who must be kept?
The Windows.old folder has two objectives:
(1) can be used to uninstall Windows 7 and return your PC to the previous version of Windows.
(2) contains a backup of all your files of data, documents, photos, Etc. from the previous version of Windows. If you don't need either of these two options can delete the Windows.old folder.
Note: Option to change Windows Explorer to see the Windows.old folder:
Click on start and enter in the box "Search": "hidden" (without the quotes)
Click on the "Show the hidden files and folders" option at the top of the list.
In the "Folder Options" window
Click the 'view' if it is not already selected.
In the list "Advanced settings" locate "hidden files and folders".
Now click 'show files and folders '.
Then, disable the following:
"Hide empty drives in the computer folder.
"Hide the extensions of the file types that you want to know."
"Hide protected operating system files"Click on the "Apply" button and the OK"" button.

Someone knows if the product key is stored in any file on windows. Or does anyone know if Microsoft will have kept no record of the product key and can send information.
The short answer is no.
Even if a product key is stored in Windows and can be retrieved by various utilities third keyfinder, when Windows was preinstalled, this key is a special key used by the manufacturer of the computer to automatically activate Windows when, for example, you use the manufacturer method to restore the computer to its factory condition.
This key can be used if you want to reinstall using a Windows CD/DVD installation that you have purchased. To do this, you use the key on the COA label on your machine.
If you need this key, your most likely solution is to use a bright light and a magnifying glass. If it is completely unreadable, it is possible - though unlikely - that the manufacturer of the computer (non-Microsoft) can be useful.
No key will be useful if you want to install Windows on another computer. OEM (preinstalled) Microsoft software product keys are valid only for the computer on which the software was first installed.

My wife down in 8 loaded window, but I want to reinstall Vista 32. (not), but I have my product key. I need help! Thank you
Hello
There are several methods to reinstall Vista.
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a small fee.
To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:
You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:
How to change the Boot order in BIOS:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm
"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246
And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista from how you bought your computer, IF the 8 Windows Installer do not wipe it.
The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)
Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.
Ask them to the proper key sequence.
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.
"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/84488-activate-Vista-phone.html
See you soon.
