I think I uninstalled my sound how do I get it back

I think I uninstalled my sound how do I get it back

Hi Sholonda,

Please answer these questions:

1. are you referring to the audio card drivers?

2 did you receive any error messages or codes?

3 what is the make and model of the computer?

4 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

I would like that you go into the Device Manager and check if the sound card is working. To do this, follow these steps:

a. on the desktop, press the Windows key + R and type devmgmt.msc and press enter to open the Device Manager.

b. develop sound, video and game controllers and right click on the audio card drivers.

c. select Properties , and then check to see if the device works properly under Device Status.

Is there a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside, then it indicates that there are some problems with this driver.

You can see the steps in the following link:

No sound in Windows
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows/no-sound-help#no-sound=Windows-XP&V1H=win8tab1&V2H=win7tab1&V3H=winvistatab1&v4h=winxptab1

Restart the computer and let us know the status of the issue.

  • XP Home Edition Accessories folder has been uninstalled by accident, how do I get that back without the cd.

I have xp home edition, but the folderhas accessoriy uninstalled by accident, how can I get that back without the cd. I have dp does not have a partitioned hard drive, it has been deleted when cleaning a few months ago by a so-called professional

If you mean that start > all programs no longer displays an entry for 'Accessories', then all that is removed is a set of shortcuts you can easily recreate (assuming that it is not in your basket).  The actual programs that are related to 'Accessories' are still there.

To check, click Start > run, then type each of the following in the box run and then click OK

    Notepad.exe--> should start Notepad
    mspaint.exe--> should start painting
cmd.exe--> should open a command prompt window

Because the default ' accessories' menu includes submenus for accessibility, communication and entertainment, it's a bit tedious searching for all executables, create shortcuts and bring together them in a folder to display in the start menu.  I haven't used, but this utility says it does exactly what that (and this is from a trusted site): http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Accessories.htm

    Hello

I was able to find your model on the site. non-us go here: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/global#.

Once there, select computer for portable type for subgroup and then wait for the model #s to load (it takes a while), but your NP530U3C is listed. When that opens, select drivers in the top row of tabs and scroll down until you get to the VGA Intel for Windows 7 64-bit driver (there is only 1 64 Bit VGA driver for you). Download the driver and install it.

After return here with questions that have, if not let me know how you fare.

VIA, as in the audio embedded... If the audio, is an expansion card, we could simply

    Hello

    1. don't you make changes to the computer until the problem occurred?

Method 1: try to scanner SFC [SFC system] on the computer that would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 2:

Also try to scan your computer for the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

I lost the sound recorder. The program has disappeared. How can I get that back?

    Hi dstaub53,

In "gone", I assume that you do not see the menu of all the Programs.Accessories? Try clicking on the Start button and typing sound (or tape recorder) in the search box. The sound recorder.exe file should then appear at the top of the search list.

Click or double-click the exe of tape recorder to open the sound recorder. • How do you get "microphone" back on the recording of sound control Panel tab?

    Hello

In the Panel--> equipment and audio--> Audio to manage devices--> recording tab.

I accidentally deleted icon "microphone."  How can I get it back?  Is it possible to download it (couldn't find Googling).

I want to restore the computer system to an earlier point to a problem that I face, but it seems that I am incapable of being given that I deleted this driver or software?

    Thank you!

    Hi Mary_Anne T,.

Welcome to the Microsoft community. According to the description of the problem, you want the "microphone" back on the recording of the sound options tab.

    Follow these steps and check:

    (a) go to Start, Control Panel, sound, recording tab.

    (b) do a right click on a box empty and make sure you show disconnected devices and to see the disabled devices are checked.

    (c) if the microphone now appeared there, right-click on it and select Activate and set as default device.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you need more assistance.

  • I uninstalled the App STore of Windows 8 (and some others). How do I get it back?

I uninstalled the APP STORE of WINDOWS 8 (and some others). How do I get it back?

Thank you very much! It is very easy to find. I also discovered that just by clicking you will find a lot of information - for instance if you right click on to the bottom in the left corner, where the Start button should be, a menu will appear with Control Panel, search, run and all sorts of things. If you right-click on any web page a menu will appear, much like with a print on file menu, save as, send to and more. If you right-click on the search bar (top) charms button all programs on your computer will display. Maybe Windows 8 is not if badly but sometimes I can't find an arrow to the left or even the task bar or the address bar and it's still boring. I also hope that the Start button was left where it has been for twenty years with all programs, etc. Well, I guess that's what they call progress... Thanks for your help - I am really grateful for this forum
