Now, whenever I open it, it thinks that I'm working on a trial version and invites me to 'continue the trial', 'buy', etc. This maddening behavior just started recently when I bought the creative cloud, even if the FM is not part of this package.   IIRC, the "Buy" option allows you to enter the serial number. Try this route to re - enter your serial number of FM. If this does not work, then a re-installation complete (after uninstaling) may be the next step. As a last resort, you will need to contact Technical Support.
