I transferred Lightroom to a new computer, the image files does not appear

I transferred my back ups, previews and catalog to a new computer. I see the correct number of photographs, but the files will not appear. Thanks in advance

Personally, I think putting the LR catalog in the 'My pictures' folder is a bad idea is not a photo, but that's just me. When you put your catalog and where you put your photos does not matter.

However, once you are inside the LR catalog, in the library, folders Panel module, you will need to "relocate" all of your old files and LR knows where they are now.
