When Flash Player has been uninstalled I did a search for flahplayer files left behind a there were approximately 8-9 files there. I don't know if they can be deleted, so I left them alone. QuickTime audio works great as windows audio system.

  Hi sgcpenny, Flash is by far the most common plugin. I think it is unlikely that the others work on the sites where you don't want to run. It does not hurt to try the setting and see if it works for you.

  GP (GetPlus) is the Adobe Download Manager.  Download the installer of Flash Player directly from http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe (for Firefox) and you won't need any DLM.
