I tried to install Itunes 10 (itune 9 working) windows has stopped the installation
Installation stopped saying: System Quicktime QT / core resourses video corevideolocalizd.qtr error. I tried to follow the itunes help, delete the temp files (I can not remove the vgx5c.tmp or vgx1a7.tmp) uninstalled products apple in order, reinstalled. ITunes Installer stops at the same place. I can find the corevideolocalized.qtr file, but cannot delete it. So I can't install itunes because I can't load quick time. I tried to install just one quicktime, that the same error comes back. Any help would be useful, thanks... Duane

Running Windows Vista 32-bit - I'm no guru IT but can generally follow clear instructions - can anyone help?
Hello JenMox,
Sorry for the delay in publication.
Look at the following information about the Error 1935.
Step 1
This error can occur when the Microsoft .NET Framework installation on the computer is damaged or is missing.
Try it out below step to reinstall and repair installation of Microsoft .NET Framework on the computer, then check if you can install the software.
(a) click the Start button, select Control Panel, click programs and then click on 'Turn Windows has or not.' If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
(b) search for Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1 uncheck, click OK and restart the computer.
(c) after the reboot, open again "Turn Windows features on or off" and place a check next to Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1 and restart the computer.
Step 2
If the previous step fails, then I suggest that you manually download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package, and check if you can install the software. Be sure to download the correct version, if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit.

Hi, I have really not much about computers, I'm sorry. I tried looking for answers myself but I do not understand much of the language and I don't know if I read the appropriate information.
I wanted to update my iTunes on my computer (Windows XP) but it doesn't seem to work when I searched for upgrades and click Yes, I want to update. Nothing happened.
So I uninstalled my iTunes and I tried to install iTunes 10. But when I did, I got an error message with the title of iTunes + QuickTime... say... couldn't access network location \common files\.
I uninstalled QuickTime, hoping that would help, but of course not knowing what I was doing. It did not help.
What I Googled, it seemed I had to look at something in the term. I arrived at the spot but have not seen any obvious errors. But then again, I had really no idea what I was looking at!
I would really appreciate if someone could help me with a language very very basic.
Thank you very much.

Error code 2503/2502 trying to install iTunes or update Java.
Original title: Error Code 2503/2502.
I had to restore my computer to factory settings, and after I did I now get the error 2503 and/or 2502 code when trying to install iTunes or update Java.
I tried to install in a right click on the .exe and selecting 'run as administrator '.
I've seen other suggestions that say to check Windows Installer, but I searched for this on the computer and cannot find something called Windows Installer.
My computer is currently up-to-date with all the updates. I am running Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition.
You can check for any further development, because this post is quite old.
Your circumstances are the same as the original, poster or is there any new details, on which you can develop?
You get the same errors, if you create a new user and test with it?

Have a lenovo t60 disk opportunity was wiped out when trying to install XP Pro, I get message windows does not see the hard drive, but he sees the laptop.
If its SATA you need SATA drivers to install. Since the XP CD doesn't have the SATA drivers on it
Unless you disable the AHCI in the BIOS. Or their wake.
Or get the SATA drivers. Check out them on diskette, press F6 during installation and then add them.
