I tried to install the updates, but I get the error code 641
I tried to install updates that have been downloaded.
Try to install the result in the error code 641
Original title: what is the error code 641
The other post:
My problem is on an old computer (not this one) running Windows Vista Home Premium. Show downloads are KB2690729, 2656353, 2656370, 2604111, 2604121, 2656368, 2656045 and 2686827. When I tried to download individually, the first and the third update (above) showed as being downloaded correctly, yet when I checked the list of updates successfully, none of these appeared. Since that time, the system generated downloads 8 updates have been fruitless.
Like the other reviewers, I run IOL System Mechanic and have noted your comments about the interaction between the SM and windows. Personally, I hesitate to attempt changes to the registry based on the stories of war, with that I've heard of people who do not have the knowledge/experience/skill to work in the more than causing registty problems they started. I have not contacted LIO, wondering if this was done either by Microsoft with others who have similar problems.
I hope that you have more tips to share what to do: this problem.
Thanks for your help.
Hi rob3274,
I combined the message you did in another thread to this original to avoid confusion.
In response to another poster asking if System Mechanic caused their code error 641, one of our MVP, PA bear MS MVPreplied with this:
There is no doubt in my mind that System Mechanic caused this!
And you have plenty of company, too. See these recent discussions-online
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OPTION A: If you have backups of ALL System Mechanic has EVER done on your computer changes, restore ALL the & restart and test - and then uninstall System Mechanic & some other registry cleaners. [1]
OPTION B: Execution of RESOLUTIONS methods 1, 2 and 3 in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2642495 then reboot & test.
OPTION C: Contact System Mechanic (iolo.com) support, assuming you have purchased System Mechanic Professional.
[1] TIP: If you still think again your registry database must be cleaned, repaired, amplified, to the point, healed, twisted, fixed, enlarged, "swept" or optimized (it isn't), read http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=28099 and draw your own conclusions. Since the thread here.
I hope this helps!
I TRIED TO INSTALL AN UPDATE BUT A DIDIN'T GET INSTALLED AND THE ERROR IS CODE 52D?
I TRIED TO INSTALL AN UPDATE BUT A DIDIN'T GET INSTALLED AND THE ERROR IS CODE 52D?
Hey alisan, Jean Marc.
On what update did you get the error code? Check the history of update Windows for the exact number of KB.
1) click on the Start Menu.
2) click on all programs.
(3) when the window opens, click view update history in the upper left corner of the window.This gives the full list of recently made updates and also the status of the installation as if the update installed successfully or not.
If you have not updated, take note of the corresponding article.
Now visit http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx , enter the KB article number and download the update of the same.
More often than otherwise, it should get installed from the download above.Just in case you have trouble to install the same, consider resetting your Windows Update components after which the installation from the source folder.
I tried to install since 11/12/09 important update KB976098 and continue to get error code 8E5E03FB unknown error. I tried to find the error code, but can't find it. How can I download and install this update?
Quote your full version of Windows (for example, WinXP SP3;) Vista SP1; Vista 64 - bit SP2; Win7; Win7 64 bit) when you post in a forum or a newsgroup. Please do it in your next reply.
Short story: If you do NOT live in one of the zones listed in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976098, you really need not to install this security update not any way so you can hide it just ("don't show me this update"). ~ Robear Dyer (PA Bear) ~ MS MVP (that is to say, mail, security, Windows & Update Services) since 2002 ~ WARNING: MS MVPs represent or work for Microsoft
Can help you, I get access denied you do not have enough words to activate power
I am trying to install a software, but I get this message in Admin: access denied! You don't have enough power words to activate this function.
The message continues to appear over and over again and finally goes and does to install the software. It is on a PC HP mini.
LMV,
I hope that you do not have too much of your own data personal on the computer yet, because if you used I would suggest that you reinstall the operating system to solve these problems.
Go to http://partsurfer.hp.com and enter your name/product number in the search field. The results that arise should include a restore CD that you can order to perform the reinstallation. Yet once, please make sure to save any personal data that you have put on the computer before attempting this.
original title: error with ehshell.exe
I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 3 and I tried to run Media Center but I get an error message with ehshell.exe. Could you help me?
This problem exists since the 1st Media Center. SP2 and SP3 had a difficulty, but it is obvious that it doesn't always. The same problem still exists in Vista today with a lot of other carried over from XP. System restore would work, but you do not have any good restore points so reinstall an operating system seems to be your only option.
You probably don't want to do an OS reinstall you need for Media Center, but since it does not at all, you might want to play then remove the Media Center updates and or SP3 and reinstall them.
Updated KB2656368 and KB2686827 do not install, get an error code 641
I have two important updates for NET Framework 4 who don't keep not install. The updates are (KB2656368) and (KB2686827). I get an error code 641 when I try to install them. What should I do?
You can try the applicable repair just only the .NET Framework versions affected - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976982
In many cases repair .NET Framework 4 is sufficient to fix the corruption, but in some cases, need to uninstall and reinstall .NET Framework 4.
I tried to install Family Tree Maker and get 1310 error writing to file: BCL. EasyConverterLiB.Interop.dll have no idea what to do.
Hello
1. how you try to install this program?
I suggest you to set up your computer in a clean boot state, and check to see if the same problem happens.
By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.
If the problem persists, then contact family tree click the link below:
Hope this information is useful.
I'm running Vista window 6 service pack 2 32-bit. None of the 8 steps for further research for this error worked. I tried the regfix_vista.reg and the msiserver.reg proposed corrections and will continue to receive the error code 641. I spent weeks and weeks on this and nothing works. I want to give up. Everyone knows the same problem? I uninstalled the e/s from my list of software system mechanic who had been previously suggested as being the culprit for this problem...
PerrySystem Mechanic is your troublemaker & you have lots of company! [1]
See my colleague Maurice RESPONSE message in this thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/thread/d6fedf33-dc1b-451f-9aab-97429f916180
If still no joy, contact System Mechanic (iolo.com) supported for assistance-, they are well aware of the problem posed their candidacy.
Hi firoz909,
This is the second time I met a problem of creative cloud app update. It prevents other applications adobe update and frustrates me no end. In June, I lost a month
time to try to solve this problem and I am now in the same boat once more.
I uninstalled all adobe products,
I ran the vacuum cleaner on everything.
I deleted the contents of ""~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0/ " "
I tried opening the page of Adobe Photoshop Elements and have a creative cloud installation (it was the previous fix that does nothing now)
I tried several times and at the end upward at the same place with error code 204 pointing me to a page that says nothing about the error code 204.
I checked these suggested links
Creative Cloud connection update error - U43M1D204
Error 204 downloading Creative Cloud on Mac
Error download or update Adobe Creative Cloud applications
and I tried this method (which was the difficulty that worked in June, but does not now)
If you tried all the steps, you can try with the direct installation file:
N ° 1)
Click on the link below and open Photoshop Elements download link.
Do not close the page, just keep it open.
Download Photoshop Elements products | 10, 11, 12, 13
Then click on the link below and download the installer directly mentioned in step 2.
He's going to start directly from the installation process.
Step 2)
Windows:
http://trials2.Adobe.com/AdobeProducts/KCCC/1/Win32/ACCCx3_1_1_110.zip
Extract the Zip first, then run the Setup.exe file.
Mac:
http://trials2.Adobe.com/AdobeProducts/KCCC/1/OSX10/ACCCx3_1_1_110.dmg
now when I run uninstaller creative cloud it says '... ". uninstalled with errors"and if I try to re install Creative cloud I get this message:
"It seems to be a problem of access to a critical file during the download. For troubleshooting tips, please visit our customer support page. (Error code: 204) »
So please help me to get out of this endless loop and use the apps I pay to use, not to solve problems.
No problem Ron, given that this issue needs detailed troubleshooting I would ask to contact the customer service team customer service
Get the error code 641, cannot install Windows updates.
Reluctant to do a reinstall of windows. I had the same problem, find the same useless information on a cure. I did a reinstall of windows (Vista) and partially by installing the updates of windows I ran into the same problem again, the windows installer does not. Even from scratch will get not anywhere, leaving you at least your system as it stands leaves can be used instead of a partially updated with no program system.
I wonder if Apple has this kind of problem?Hello
I suggest to reset the Windows Update components and check if it helps.
Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
