  This is not the Preview version of Skype, but is the oldest Skype for Windows, version 7.28.80.101. I'm a (paying) happy user of Skype for the past 7 years, and it is pretty central to my work as a tester of computer software.   Hello, I had just fixed yesterday. I deleted the drivers and programs that accompanies it, it ends up being the lifecam software that comes with it interfering with Skype, thanks to all who help :)

  From what I've read, it could be a number of things that went on the wall. Issue of dead hard drive, BIOS, peripheral USB plugged when starting, etc.
