  Please right-click on any PDF on your system, then go to properties > under general, you will find "opens with". Here you will see 'change' option, by clicking on it, wil give you a window from which you can choose the Acrobat Standard XI as a default for PDF files.

  You will not be able to activate the Photoshop CS2 you have on your drive.  Adobe closed the activation servers.

  You can, however, download the Photoshop package from the following Adobe page.  Follow the specific instructions provided here and remember that you can not use your original serial number.

  Thanks for this info and choosing the communities Support from Apple. I know how important is able to complete your update to El Capitan at a later date! The good news is that you can simply delete the "install Mac OS X" install app in the Applications folder on your Mac. Then you can open the Mac App Store when you're ready to update and restart the download from the tab updates or searching through the Mac App Store for El Capitan.   I know one thing to get your links to always open in a new window:
  1. Right-click on your desktop, select new, then shortcut
  2. Type "" C:\Program may Explorer\IEXPLORE. "." EXE" and click Next
  3. Name the shortcut (for example: Microsoft Home) and click Finish
  4. Right-click on the new shortcut and select Properties
  5. In the target box, arrow over until the end of the path, add a space and add -new (WEBSITEPATH). When your finished, your path should look like this:
     "" C:\Program may Explorer\IEXPLORE. "." "EXE" - new www.microsoft.com
  6. Click OK and try it!
