  You can only use messaging clients like Windows live mail like e-mail by default on a computer, but hotmail is a web-based mail, so you will not be able to install it or set as the default program for a particular computer.

  I had my RR give me new settings when my emails stopped going out. They changed their steps.

  I don't know why Mr. Murphy suggested a system restore. Maybe he interpreted your post differently I did. You have your screen standby/power options defined on too short a time. You can also disable the requirement for a password during the recovery.

  Right-click on an empty area of the desktop and click on personalize. To customize the applet opens. Click the screen saver. Change the timeout to something reasonable like 10 or 20 minutes. You will see where you can clear the check box next to the "password required on curriculum vitae... ».

  What happened to me several times over the years, as different local networks may not connect in order to SEND email but without reception problems.

  My solution is to always use the WEBMAIL service belonging to the service of your email provider... be it Apple or Blueyonder, or anyone.

  Occasionally, a national internet service - for example; the Sultanate of Oman, in my experience - can refuse to deal with mail because the discussion on a particular topic is not permitted in the jurisdiction of that country, but it is very rarely the problem.   U put in place an email with the BlackBerry Internet Service account?  If you have, you must log into your BIS account and return service directories.  If you have not configured to send yet, you must create an BIS account and add your email address.  You should be able to set up BIS here http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.net/

  (1) - what do you mean you have only 1 user account?

  When you set up Windows, you will need to create a user account. This account is an administrator account to allow you to set up your computer and install any programs that you want to use. And that's why the user account you are using is the administrator account.

  There is no way that you can create an administrator account, or by using a Standard account.

  (2) are you having issues during installation of the software or opening it?

  (3) what exactly happens when you try to open the software application?

  (4) should be codes error or error messages, if any?

  (5) what software are you trying to install or open?

  You can use the ProfileList registry to identify the SIDS of the users.

  To access the registry, go to a command to run.
  Press the Windows and R. Then type: regedit.

  1. go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

  2. under the ProfileList key, you will see the SID. By selecting each individually, you can look at the entry and see what user name is associated with this particular SID. It will be in the right pane.

  Note: The SID to a combination of profiles is reserved for the profiles on the local computer based. If a user is referring to a 'server' extension .usr or .man profile in the User Manager for domains that they will not be in this area of the registry to associate the username in SID.

  If the account is not used, you can delete the registry. Don't forget to back up the registry before making any changes, as they will be permanent.
