  This is related to the problem of association of files on the Windows platform. Other applications works very much like Photoshop.

  Please completely including current uninstall Lightroom and the old version of it.

  Restart the Machine (very Important)

  Reinstall the application from Creative Cloud Desktop App (disconnect & connect away from getting the latest version of Lightroom)

  Specific advice Apple seem to be uninstall QuickTime, it should no longer be necessary and has a few potential security vulnerabilities. See Uninstall QuickTime 7 for Windows - Apple Support.

  Assuming that you have a 64 bit system, this facility expected to be compatible. For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.   Depends entirely on this laptop you have. If it has a 64-bit processor
  You can use 64-bit Windows. If a 32-bit CPU, you can't.

  If you don't know you have, hold down the Windows key and press
  Break | Break. It will tell you if you have a 32-bit
  processor or 64-bit processor.
