  Hello, I have a network drive and am running windows 7 Professional.

  When I right click on the file I want to make available offline, the option does not exist.
  I also activated the Sync Center. (see image)
  Thoughts?

  I know that it is a very old message, but I had the same problem, all active and configured, but no context menu entry appears and I have found no answer on the internet to fix. Finally I have found a solution myself:

  First of all, I would like to thank Microsoft for the total absence of advanced documentation (public AND internal, knowing that the technical support engineers may not know what the problem is) on this issue.

  -No doubt - there are perhaps other special cases and the potential causes of non-showing the 'always available offline' menu. But here's my case, which was not described until I read a few pages of answers:

  I use Windows 7 and some NAS devices as file servers for our small business. We do not have any field, we work as members of the working group. We have therefore every login + password on each workstation and also separate login + password on a NAS device.

  As many users, I checked the "remember my credentials" in the login box at the connection to the NAS, for convenience.

  BUT THIS IS PREVENTING 'always available offline' TO BE DISPLAYED in THE CONTEXT MENU.

  Simply, I went to control panel / user accounts and parental controls / user accounts / manage your credentials (left pane), then selected and deleted the credentials for my NAS server.

  From then on, I have the 'always available offline' menu that appears in Solution Explorer :) But I have to type identify with my password once per session to connect to the NAS :(

• How do I uncheck 'always available offline '?

  I checked 'always available offline' on a large network directory and kicking off the coast a synchronization, but quickly realized that it would take forever (almost 10 GB via a VPN connection to an office in Britain when I am in Ireland). So I interrupted synchronization via Sync Center in Control Panel.

  I then tried to uncheck the option to context menu just clicking on it again. That had no effect.

  I opened the properties dialogue box, went into the tab files out of connection and unchecked the "always available offline" check box and click OK. But when I opened the Properties dialog box again and went to the offline files tab, the box is always checked.

  Can anyone suggest anything? I don't want to disable the ability of the machine to sync, I just want to remove this specific folder synchronization.

  I assumed that putting computers in a home group could solve the problem, but I get an error that IPv6 is not available.

  Connectivity IPv6 is not supported by my router (linksys WRT150N).  Y at - it solution or a wireless router that works?  I am running Win 7 Pro 64 bits on a computer and Win 7 Pro 32 bit on my laptop.  I can see the network files and transfer them OK.

  If the offline files option is disabled, you will need to enable it, if you want to work with files offline to a network folder.

  a. open offline files by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type offline filesand then in the list of results, click manage offline files.

  b. on the general tab, click enable offline files.

  You will need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • Please look for a "registration successful" message appears

  2) restart

  • Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process.
  • IF this fails, you can try the method more energetic keep up/down keys volume until the device turns off completely. Wait a little and then turns on normally.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then please let us know if it always worked before... If so, what has changed? A new application? An update of a certain type? Something else?

• CS6 applications are always available from the creative clouds?

  Always download CS6 applications on the site of the CC? I had to wipe my hard drive iMac earlier this year and all reinstall to deal with a software problem. Even though I reinstalled the CC apps that I need, I lost all my CS6 versions. As I originally downloaded my apps CS6 from Adobe, I don't have the installation discs available. I do not have my records of CS5, but I rather have CS6 available if possible.

  From what I can tell on the adobe site, as late as last year Adobe allowed access to CS6 apps for CC subscribers. The "Filter by version" button is no longer available in the Application Adobe CC Manager
