I've recently updated shockwave and now videos will not play in firefox, it says that the addon stopped working

Can you tell me which version of shockwave, I should have and how to upgrade to make it work correctly

The videos are often in formats other than just that Flash Player provides. The majority of Firefox users use FlashPlayer. There are still a lot of content that need unfortunately, so it depends on what you're trying to watch.

  • Movie Maker 6.0 serious on DVD, then published original, and now it will not play?

    My daughter has made a movie about Movie Maker 6.0 and it burned on a dvd.  She then had to change the original.  Once it was published, it does not work on Movie Maker 6.0.  She cannot do anything with it.  Help.  It's a slideshow from Graduation.  Garduation is today!

    It is unclear what has happened and why the project will not play.
    It may be interesting to try to open Movie Maker 6 and go to... Tools /.
    Options / Compatibility tab and disable all filters / OK.

    If this does not help... I think would be best to start
    Over and re - create the project.

    Videos on the YouTube sites and new will not play. Everything worked last night. This afternoon no videos don't play. I tried the update of Real Player plug-ins, re - install Real Player, install QuickTime, QuickTime plug-ins verification, etc. Nothing works.

    I have uninstall Realplayer and it works now. RealPlayer has been blocklisted by Flash.

    Hello, I first adobe recently updated and now when I import mp4 files, it won't play the audio. Not on the timeline or the display of source code. The audio also does not display on the time line. I tried looking through the FAQ and search in other issues, but not quite seem to have the same problem.

    So far I tried to import by dragging more and also by right click Media > import. It does not seem to make a difference.   Bars and your play in the timeline, if that means anything. I change the type of mp4 file before you import it first in first?

    I just started using the program this month, so I am a very new user. I hope it is a simple solution.

    Empty the cache of media, then rename the folder are in mp4, then try again.

  • proposed by site to GoDaddy and now .swf will not play

    the previous host, .swf played in Flash Player. I proposed by the GoDaddy site and found that the film would not play. I learned about the .htaccess and put this file in the folder of the site:

    AddType application/x-shockwave-flash swf

    now the page prompted me to download shockwave player. Instead of playing the .swf, shows the logo of Shockwave. I'd rather the movie playing in the Flash Player.

    I noticed two things about your code that is different from that produced Flash CS3 for me for the incorporation of the code.  The CODEBASE parameter you did master reference in the URL, but my codebase line appears as...

    Similarly, the pluginspage code shows references while mine reference flash shockwave...

    So perhaps your best bet is to republish a file html using Flash, if possible and use this embed code.

  • Video will not play in firefox

    I downloaded the latest versions of firefox and flash, but can't watch youtube or any other video online. YouTube offers an error message. He used just play automatically, but now I have to click on the play button, then error message. I've also updated quicktime and realplayer recently as well. I can see no problem with IE9, and I don't know what the problem is. Any help is appreciated!

  • Help!  I'm having trouble, watch videos flash player... had koobface one month ago, and now it will not play.

  • New and other history videos will not play in Firefox for java, adobe and Yahoo v20.0.1 are underway. All I get is a circle that circulate, videoes work very well in IE9.

    All plug-ins are up-to-date and current, have disabled and checked for problem of plug-ins with no result. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, Java, Adobe Flash Player, Real Player, several times with no results. Also uninstalled my software antivirus temporarily without any result.

    Problem solved! I downloaded and installed Firefox 24.0 Beta. Apparently Mozilla team programming carried out all the changes right in the new version. Now all the videos from Yahoo and BBC working.

    You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
