  If so:

  • Verify that your home page settings has changed. These articles describe the steps to do this:

  • If your home page setting is correct, one of your extensions may be overriding your setting. Open the page modules using either:
    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  Use the document type that corresponds to your code & coding skills.  Transitional HTML is appropriate if you are using deprecated code, tables-based layouts...   XHTML is a little different from the HTML code.  Transition is a little more forgiving than hard.   In general, I use XHTML Transitional.

  INLINE - styles in the html tag - not recommended for most web sites.

  EMBEDDED - styles in the HTML page between the Head tags.  Fine for special pages.

  EXTERNAL - a physical file to all your site on which the pages are related. Recommended.

  External style sheets are easier to manage, because all the important styles are in one place.

  NOTE: If you use more than one model site (DWT), you need more than one set of styles.  This is possible through the addition of new styles in an existing file, or create a new file for each new set of pages and combining the styles later.
