I want the controller PID Autotuning

I have a project of flow using on LabVIEW PID control.

So I want the controller pid autotuning and if possible then with manual and automatic mode switchable.

Pls see if someone can help me.

  • PID autotuning on CRIO

    Hello

I'm working on a cRIO, and I want to use the PID AUTOTUNING vi in real-time. I got an error when I tried to start the automatic setting. I know the autotuning to start a wizard with a pop-up window, but I can't get the window pop up on RT. How can I do?

It should be a lot of work so he could work on rt.

Basically, you'll need to rewrite and remove all calls to GUI.

  • How to reverse the action of the vi PID control?

I want to control a starter that regulates pressure in a pump application. The application has already exists, but the customer wants the software to automatically control the strangler around a pressure setpoint. The operator controls manual, output scaling, feedback to the scale and the documentation refer all signals, as 100% opens the choke (corresponding to the minimum pressure), while 0% attempts to completely close the choke, corresponding to the maximum pressure. Basically, the process and the control variable variable have an inverse relationship.

I would use the PID of the Vi toolkit without modification. Apprently there is no built-in way to reverse the action of control. I want to show with some simplified diagrams.

First of all, I tried reversing the process variable, which I thought would just reverse the error of the PID equation and do what I wanted. But for some reason, he still pushes the output to 0 (under pressure) 0 set-point.

Then I tried reversing the proportional gain. This caused a very odd behavior, and he was always out of phase.

Finally, I applied a brute force - subtract the max value PID control variable. Because my control variable only goes from 0 to 100%, it works pretty well. Now 100% from the vi PID gives me 0% (under pressure) and 0% gives me 100% (completely open), which is what I want. For example, when the controller is enabled and the set value is 0% output PID readers choke at 100%, which makes sense. However, this seems cludgy.

Is there a better, more elegant way to invert the control action?

If you want to invert the response of the controller, multiply by-1 controller output.

It is also possible by reversing the proportional gain (as you've tried) providing the gain proportional acts on the controller-what he ought to do given the structure standard PID used in the toolkit blocks (see this thread which describes the structure used PID - as it confirmed OR control people).

Reversing the variable process only does not work, you will also need to reverse the set point - although if the setpoint is zero, it makes no difference.

Even if you have correct sign, there are a lot of things that can make the resulting behavior 'strange '.

  • Issues with the controller of Siri

I got the last Apple TV since Christmas, and lately, it seems that I might have a problem with the controller of Siri. When you place your finger to use the contact surface, for that one click-much like the glass mini is not defined in law if that makes sense.

Does not really affect the operation but is off-putting. If you want to just to click and press down, basically click twice on it records only one. He did not have it to begin with and has not been abandoned or anything - is always in perfect condition. Don't know if anyone has similar problems or if I have an error with mine?

Sounds like it is damaged or defective for me

  • Logic ruined after you have configured the controller Akai. Time Machine will fix it?

So I am using Komplete Kontrol for over a year. Problems of cero. I have a new MPK261 AKAI and proceeded to set up in the logic, following the instructions on the AKAI website for this (http://www.akaipro.com/kb/article/1600).

I don't know what the * happened but the logic went crazy after that... the buttons on the controller to make each window I opened just flash and pop up intermittently.

I'm not really try know what happened (doubt I'll ever find and the AKAI people do not react), my guess is these AKAI placed somehow in conflict with the settings of Komplete Kontrol, and I have replace the file com.apple.logic.pro.cs from the library > Preferences, which also could have been she.

So, I just want to ask if using Time Machine to settle things a few days back will correct this? I've never used a time Machine (I have defined daily backups, but never had to use before), so I don't know if it will work.

    Thank you!

Before going to the road Time Machine... (which I do not know the answer anyway)

    Try this:

    With the logic does not--

Remove the 10 logic preferences file AND the areas of shared control file.

(In your case, simply remove the control surfaces pref)

In the Finder, choose go > go to folder from the menu.

Type ~/Library/Preferences in the field 'go to folder '. (Note :) Type exactly-> ~/Library/Preferences)

    Press the Go button.

Delete the file com.apple.logic10.plist from the Preferences folder. Note that if you set custom shortcuts, it will reset to the default values. You can export your custom key as a preset before performing this step. See the user manual Pro Logic for more details on how to do it. If you are having problems with a with Logic Pro control surface.

then delete the file com.apple.logic.pro.cs from the Preferences folder.

Next time you start logic will be rebuilt the default surface control file.

  • Fail to communicate with the controller of pump ISCO D series

    Hey everybody,

I have an ISCO D pumps controller (which is connected to a syringe model 100DX ISCO pump) series I want to control using RS232 on Labview. I don't have their LabView Toolkit that Teledyne has mentioned in their technical Bulletin (TB06). In addition, I would like to automate my test, so using the Labview Toolkit will be not too useful.

The problem I face is not being able to communicate with the controller via hyperterminal or LabVIEW.

I ran their (mentioned in TB06) integrated series test and communicate as expected. I also tried to run their program remote pump (mentioned in technical Bulletin 19 of Teledyne - TB19) which seems to do what is expected as well.

I tried to talk about using LabVIEW first using the vi that I joined, and I saw nothing on the buffer. So, I moved to hyperterminal.

But when I try to send the command 'remote' listed in TB19, it doesn't seem to do anything. There is no answer on the hyperterminal.

There is mention of a DASNET Protocol, and I found the .dll file that I also moved in my Windows System 32 folder. It did not work even after that too.

I have attached TB06 and TB19. Let me know if you have other ideas how to do to test it.

Please let me know if you need further information.

    Thank you

    Sandeep

    Hey everybody,

After going through their best manual, I found the way to correctly send a frame. The manual at, www.isco.com/pcfiles/PartPDF/SL000004/UP00194U.pdf, section 7 specifically, it is intended.

For the purposes of anyone who stumbles across this thread, here's an example.

    If you have your.

Destination (the pump regulator) ID = 1

the source of the (computer) message = 00

and you try to send the message to DISTANCE that would turn the controller in "REMOTE" mode

Then you would send '1R006REMOTE1B', where 1 is the ID of destination
R is right to recognize the previous received message

00 is the ID of the computer

    6 length of command

"REMOTE" the command itself, must be uppercase

Checksum 1 b (which changes with the command of course)

And you can do the same thing in LabVIEW, you can enter '1R006REMOTE1B' in the VISA write while keeping everything else the same as the snapshot of the vi I sent previously.

Dennis, actually do not have the CD itself, but I assumed, would nothing more than an executable since I downloaded the demo driver for LabVIEW (http://www.isco.com/products/appnotes.asp?PL=105 under utilities) pump. I am currently trying to locate the CD here at the lab, and I will update this thread if I find something useful.

I guess that my problem has been resolved.

Thanks for your input in this Dennis.

    Kind regards

    Sandeep

  • How to join a network domain with the controller rt PharLab running?

I have a PXI system that I would like to be able to access anywhere in the corporate network. Currently, I'm access via the IP address, but want to use the host name instead. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to join the network with the controller running PharLab area.

Any suggestions in this regard would be welcome.

    Respect,

    Česlav

    Hello Bob and Česlav,

I think Česlav was looking for / ask something different. (please tell me if I'm wrong)

He really wants to do its PXI RT "look-uppable" via its corporate network without necessarily be on the same subnet (and use the IP address).

In light of the additional information you (Česlav) provide that I would say again that you contact your IT Department first to see how they prefer it.

They will generally the method of choice to do this. (both for desktop computers with respect to other devices)

Sometimes it comes down to add to "add your host name and IP address to a list of DNS.

The page that you link to is a specific way of Windows, adding yourself to a domain.

Note that add you to a domain should provide you with the ability to use host names.

However, he also did other things, which may not be possible or even allowed for other types of devices.

In most companies you don't even have your desktop admin rights necessary to add your own pc (following this way) to the area, as it may cause a lot of security issues and risks.

Because I don't really know what the establishment IT is by your side I can't really (with certainty) comment on what you should be able to do (and is not).

  • What chassis Compact of RIO and the controller to order 3 axes

    I already ordered and received a 9012 (128 MB, DRAM 64) controller and a 9102 (1 M).

A little logic of digital I/o, 4 encoders high speed read, read slow encoders 1, 3 outputs similar.

I'm a little afraid I'd run out of space? What do you think.

    Thank you
    Patrick

    Hi Patrick,

with a background of basket door 3 m, it is possible to implement the 6 complete recommended axes, each race with its own PID regulator. If you use the same PID controller in a loop (which requires a memory management to keep the internal States for each individual axis), it is possible to run 8 axes with a cRIO system.
In this scenario, there is a ratio of 2.66 axes by 1 million doors. So I doubt that it is possible to implement the three axes of PID controlled with a FPGA 1 million.

The best solution for your application in terms of price and performance should be the cRIO-9074 OR, which is a bottom of basket with a FPGA 2 million doors and a built-in controller. It is perhaps a good idea to contact your local branch of NOR and check if there is a way to exchange your cRIO system. This should provide enough room for your application.

  • The controller is restarted PXI of MAX has stopped working

I have a PXi-8196 controller in which regularly need to be restarted (will post another message on this subject).  For the last 8 months, I was able to restart using MAX from the link to remote systems.  Last week, this method no longer works.  The controller is taken offline, but MAX is unable to reconnect.   I have to physically power the controller cycle.  (The controller has a configured static IP address).

Anyone have any ideas on what could be the root cause of the problem?

    Thank you.

    Hi Ssa,

You have a monitor connected to your NI PXI-8196? If so, when you want to restart your MAX controller, which the monitor is displayed during startup? Everything doesn't start correctly? It acquires its assigned IP address?

  • Basic PCMCIA question: where is the controller?

    Hello people,

I have a basic question of the PCMCIA:

The PCMCIA controller is integrated on the motherboard or does the PCMCIA device?

Practicality: if I want to change the PCMCIA in a laptop, I can change everything (part mechanical + electronic) or simply the mechanical part?

I have a mono-emplacement controller, and I would have a dual slot PCMCIA. If the controller is on the motherboard, I have no chance of success.

    Thank you:

    UB

The controller is on the motherboard. Pcmcia slot unit is removable, as stated above, but it's just a cage to hold the cards... no chip is in it other than a plug-in interface on the motherboard which channels to the pcmcia controller.

  • Independent migration of LWAPP and dynamic interfaces on the controller 4404

We are currently migrating from a stand-alone environment. Access points currently take wireless clients and put

their right in separate VLANs that SSID that they associate with. Each SSID is another customer

So we are essentially acting as a service provider. We try not to get involved with the functions of layer 3.

Each range of IP of SSID is ordered by a customer or a third party. So far, we didn't specify an address from DHCP server, the client is getting on one VLAN and it is up to the customer to assign their own intellectual property details.

Now that we're migrating to LWAPP I found the following-

-J' need to specify an IP address for each dynamic IP address for each WLAN

-J' need to specify a DHCP server for each dynamic IP address for each WLAN

Because I have no control of the PPE, I put in the details of false dynamic Interface but the correct address of the DHCP server.

    It seems to work.

    My questions are as follows:-

1 / is there a way I can simply place clients in a VIRTUAL LAN using LWAPP equipment so we didn't

get involved with Layer 3 configuration?

2 / I noticed when I got a DHCP address on a test laptop client, the DHCP server is 1.1.1.1. The only thing in the network that I know is the virtual IP address of the controller that is used for groups of mobility. Is this normal?

3/on the controller is the query DHCP has passed from the management or the dynamic interface?

3 / What is the IP address of the dynamic interface actually used for? At the beginning I forge the DHCP server use it as a source, but my setup works with a bogus address.

Welcome to the world of LWAPP! It's a pretty confusing to get, so I hope I can answer some of your questions.

Before directly answering your questions, I want to give you a little if a glimpse as to how traffic flows in LWAPP environment. All traffic LWAPP is placed in a tunnel to the controller (this is why LWAPP APs is no longer need to switch trunk links). Traffic is désencapsulé and sent to the appropriate interface switching environment (management or dynamic). The source address for traffic is changed to match the control interface for traffic must return to the controller in order to get the customer. For example, IP addresses are required on the controller.

    1. think of the controller as a layer 3 switch that masks the identity of its customers. By sourcing all traffic from itself, it ensures that all traffic comes back to him, how it forwards traffic to the client via the LWAPP tunnel. False addresses you entered are actually being used on the network, then you will want to register those with the people in charge. If someone uses this address, it will eventually drop your wireless network.

    2. it is normal. The virtual IP address is also used for DHCP service. Because the controller blocks all emissions, it must the DHCP proxy for each client, where the virtual IP address as well as the need to specify the address of the DHCP server.

    3. I don't know what interface it gets passed on. Maybe someone else can answer.

    4. see above for a description of what it is.

One last thing. What, exactly, are these fake addresses to which you refer? They are real addresses which comes with? They correspond to the VLAN that you places on? You give them suitable default gateways?

Don't forget that by configuring these, they are real addresses on your network that you should be able to ping. And yet once, if the address is duplicated on the network, it has the potential to get to the bottom of your wireless network.

Let me know if this can help, and if you have any other questions!
