1. launch the (Win) Task Manager / Activity Monitor (Mac)
2. try to leave Creative Cloud Desktop app and background CCHelper and CoreSyncprocess.
3 restart the desktop creative cloud application.

My teacher gave me that extra installation for PC for more than one year for the whole package CS6. If that doesn't work, try updating through iTunes on your computer.
