I want to drag contacts into folders to organize them rather than color coded categories.

I want to drag the contacts, while in the address book, in folders to organize them rather than color coded categories. Example, I have a folder called "Active CUSTOMERS" and I want to move to a folder titled "Past CLIENTS".

Also, I drag messages into folders that works well, but when I try to move all of a folder of messages under a different title, I often put in place the new folder and copy and paste all the messages. It's tedious.

I can't believe there are not many people in sales who want to put in place their clients in different folders. It would really clean up your address book so you don't always go through thousands of email addresses. I know that I can sort the color-coded categories, but this is slow compared to drag the contact into a folder.

Please feel free to send me suggestions. My contacts duplicated and screwed up in Windows Live and now I need to sort out about 5 000 contacts - I already managed to get rid of exact duplicates but there will still be a lot of work. [email protected]

Create a new address books and move contacts in them.

In the address book window, select file-new-address book
Then, drag and drop contacts from existing books in the new.

    I upgraded to connected HP eprint today.  Now it wont let me not to the eprint site (and, Yes, I would not have gone back if something did not work to connected hp).

    I could drag and drop placement of my apps to have as I would like on the touchscreen to eprint printer.   However, I can't do drag or drop whatever it is connected HP, and I see no help on the management of the investment of the apps on your printer.

    How is that possible?  It was easy before - printer just drag-and - drop and website updated.  I have an officejet 7610.

    I have a Macbook Pro with a WD passport for mac that I keep all my photos on.  I know that time machine will back up there if I plug it into the mac and select it to be excluded from the United Nations through the time machine preferences, which I did, but I generally keep the Passport plugged into the time machine itself and use wireless.

    However, I don't really know if time machine is it backs up this way, or if it's just a wireless router that allows me to access the Passport.

    How will I know if it is saved?  And if not, how can I save it while it is plugged into the time machine?

    It can happen - I wrote about this a couple of years (http://jonathanlewis.wordpress.com/2010/06/29/subquery-factoring-3/), but don't think it would still be a problem with 11.2; However, you use ANSI and the transformations made by Oracle to manage ANSI combined could have caused the missing cycle of transformations (or find) a strategy that made the difference (transformation quirks with ANSI have quite frequently on the forum). Technically, it seems as if the weighted subquery must have been moved, inline - but maybe it wasn't, or maybe it was but after that ANSI transformation had taken place, leading to the optimizer missing a secondary processing. Until we see the plan of execution, we can not say more than that.

    Use the Finder on Mac. Drag and drop. Copy and paste. Your choice. The changes will be synchronized to iCloud by car.

    iCloud.com has a limited feature set largely. It of a convenience thing and does all the file management features in iCloud drive.

    OK, I can't leave the Photos to manage my pictures for anything other than editing.  I have a backup hard drive which has thousands of photos I worked tirelessly to organize into folders that make sense to ME (as well as for my wife).  Because of my organization, with any windows machine, it's easy for me to import them from my iPhone in a folder on the desktop, then the name or the tag and move these photos on this windows computer records, as well as on this hard drive.  It is a breeze to find an image or an object with a lot of different pictures, I'm the one who ranked.  It is a breeze to do a mass deletion, or a mass move if I decide to change the category of several images.  However, with Photos, just try to move pushes to hell.  Not to mention the fact that IF someone were to have access to my Mac without my permission, if they wanted to look at my pictures and videos on all of them would be in pictures to facilitate navigation.  There are a lot of photo work that I don't want anyone other than myself, my wife and occasionally a customer that the photos are to have access to the as they may contain confidential information or even to design prototypes.  WHY can't Apple let me manage my own photos?  I'm not griping about photo editing features, I find them to be good for the most part.  I want to just connect my iPhone and copy all the pictures out of it in my own folder structure and remove them from the phone.  If I need to change the one I can still do from the phone or Photos if Photos then would allow me to remove this image pictures and put it back in my files.  Please tell me that someone else out there has a similar desire and figured out how to do this...

    The menu displays in the Bookmark Manager (Bookmarks > show all bookmarks) is to display bookmarks in different sort orders (where the name of views) and does not sort the bookmarks permanently.

    More simple sort by name is to do it in the left pane of the Bookmark Manager (Bookmarks > show all bookmarks) and right click on the folder you want to sort.
