Hi rigobertoa66792618,

You can't edit PDFs using Acrobat Reader.

You will need Acrobat DC edit PDF files, and who will work on the system not on mobile devices.

Kind regards

  • Want to edit a PDF file and save it to the same folder

I have PDF files that have been scanned in, unfortunately some of them are upside down that it will be difficult for the data entry clerks enter.  I just want to be able to rotate and save the PDF files to the same folder.  When I try to save the file after I straightened, I get the error message below.  I can do what I want.  I can save to a different file, but it's tedious as whenever I have to locate the file moving through the directory tree.   Committed to the seizure data doesn't have access to the single Reader Acrobat XI.

I am trying to edit a PDF file and it still tells me to buy Acrobat Pro, but I have already and am refunded until May 15, 2015

A common cause of this is buy Acrobat Pro, but not use it. Instead, some people not to install Acrobat Pro, or they install but continue to use the free Adobe Reader software. Check this. Adobe Reader (Acrobat Reader) and Acrobat Pro are two completely different applications.

  • When I want to edit a PDF file, it gives 'other info', then I buy a subscription?

I have a stand-alone Adobe Acrobat DC Pro version.  Whenever I try to use it, it sends me to an area 'other info' and requires a subscription.  Adobe and Microsoft have both worked on it. On Windows 10 that there was even connect the hidden administrator Panel on, but which does not work either. I ran all virus/malware scans, as I can think.   I've worked on it since November with Adobe and Microsoft unsuccessfully.  Help!

    Hi dianeh65831960,

DC Pro Acrobat & Acrobat Reader DC are two different applications.

Make sure you open your PDF in Acrobat Pro ms to change, because using Acrobat Reader DC, you can't modify PDF files.

  • How can I stop automatically convert to text in Acrobat DC when I want to edit a pdf file?

I have a multipage document that I needed to add text on one page.  DC begins to convert the text document when you click on edit PDF automatically.  How to disable this option?  It's really annoying.

    Hello world

Thank you for your patience. We understand that it is annoying behavior and now we have a solution for you. In the latest version of Acrobat DC, you can disable the "auto convert to text.

Just open a scanned PDF document and click on edit PDFS. The first launch, Acrobat converts the image into text. All you have to do is now click on the button "Back to the Image" in the right pane. Acrobat now remembers this setting and will not convert any document scanned text unless you change it from here.

How to edit and change words in a PDF file on your ipad, what version should I help me please

    Hi Musicmanat59,

You need Acrobat to edit a PDF file; and it is only available on Mac OS and Windows. There is a free Adobe Reader app for iOS, which allows you to comment on a PDF document, but you wouldn't be able to make any real changes.

Sorry, I'm new to the type of problem-solving process, and I don't know how to change my first speech. My true statement is less to:

My pdf freezes when I click on COMMENT. I'm trying to get the tools to edit a pdf file. If I use the tools on the toolbar, there is no problem, but as soon as I click on the COMMENT, the document hangs and I have to open the Task Manager to plant it. It started in the last seven days (3.31.15).

I responded to your questions below, BUT while I was looking for properties, I found repair service REPAIR the INSTALLATION of ACROBAT, and (this is) the issue has been resolved!

Thanks for making me look for information.

I use Acrobat Pro XI, version 11.0.10.32.

I created the file, that I worked in during the freeze, so I tried a PDF I created with Adobe and it also freezes when I click on COMMENT. I discover that the OBSERVATIONS of the plug-in is loaded. (See image

I used the REVIEW for years without this problem occurring. He started in the last 2 weeks.

I could not find real estate under the file menu, but found a security setting in the preferences in the Edit menu. It doesn't have a way to allow/disallow COMMENT.

    Hi WalterFranco,

When you convert your files using ExportPDF or Adobe PDF package, the files are automatically saved in your online account. But, you can log on to your account on https://cloud.acrobat.com/files, select the file that you want to store on your hard drive, and then click the link to download at the top of the list of files.

Please let us know how it goes.

  • How can I edit a PDF file to have an expanded text box and more small margins?

I just read a long discussion initiated by a guy who wanted to reconstruct a PDF file to print less pages. I do not ask this topic. I am aware that Acrobat 9 Pro will not recompose the pages in a PDF for you. as someone has said, it is not a word processing program. I want to copy a PDF file into a new file with an expanded text box and more small margins, so I can read it more easily. My view is not so great.

I try to print a U.S. supreme court decision, for my study. The problem is that these PDF files of such decisions are composed of 10-points with generous margins, in pages of Folio-size smaller than 8 1/2 x 11 "." When you open PDFs of these decisions, you get the margins very broad and relatively small characters. Essentially, I would like to re-rasterize the document so it prints on my 8 1/2 x 11 "paper in a larger size of apparent type, but at the same high resolution as the original. Moreover, the decision that I'm getting is almost 200 pages long, so I won't do that, of course, in a page-by-page manner.

I guess I could do it in Photoshop, in pages to blow and their culture. Photoshop does a good job of eliminating aliasing when you do this. But it seems to me better to re-rasterize pages of the source PDF file. If any player would be nice enough to explain this process? (I'm fairly warned in Photoshop, Illustrator and printer of computing concepts, but a complete newb in Acrobat).

If you want just this for printing, one thing you can easily do is to crop all pages to remove the margins. For example, you can RP 2 "on the left and right sides, and 1.5" off the top and bottom. Then print using a Scaling of the Page to "adapt to the printable area.

To crop in Acrobat 9, select: Document > Pages of culture

Be sure to select all for the page range.
