I want to format my hard drive to start over but I do not have the windows installation disc. How can I reinstall the pack without the disks after I cleaned the system?
Resettlement without disks
Hello. I have a computer bought from a friend with windows vista home premium installed. I want to format my hard drive to start over but I do not have the windows installation disc. How can I reinstall the pack without the disks after I cleaned the system? Thank you, Kim
You have a hard drive partition to do - but you would need to contact/see the FAQ from the hardware manufacturer (HP, Dell, Gateway, Lenovo, etc) to see if and how.
Otherwise - you might have to order (pay for possibly) the factory restore/recovery of the value of the manufacturer.
If it was built * friend *, you will communicate with them. Ask your media.

I have windows 7 installed on my laptop. I want to format my hard drive. Should I buy windows 7 once again as I format my hard drive?
Im doing just because my computer is slow and its time to format the hard drive... so I need to wipe it off, but I don't want to lose windows in the process
If Windows 7 is pre-installed on laptop, Mike instructions don't you will lose Windows 7. If you bought Windows 7 separately and allows you to format the computer, which also does not let you lose thel travel when you format the drive from your installation disc.

I want to delete windows 7 but I do not have the installation disk that came with the laptop
I had a friend who has installed its own version of windows 7, however a month later his request for the code, which I did not, all want to remove and put windows vista back on but do not have the original installation disc
Hello
Here are the different ways to reinstall Vista
Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
____________________________________________________________
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer
Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer
they contain all versions of vista
This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

If the driver for your video card has this ability in the usual way, what he has done is by pressing Ctrl-Alt and an arrow key.

I want to format my hard drive
I need to format and reinstall Vista Home Basic. I can't even formatted hard drive with the installation disc. When I get to the options where the choice should be shaped is not there. None of the other shortcuts not work either. Help, please! I tried to use driver disk, when he asked during the installation where it says the driver had to be loaded to access hard drive and he could not find the file. Any ideas?
Hello
You don't say what kind of installation disc you are using.
The manufacturer's recovery disks normally don't give you a lot of options; they do it automatically.
If you have a Microsoft Vista DVD, here are the instructions to follow.

I have a situation where my PC seems to be compromised by a virus or similar thoughly.
I want to perform a low-level format low-level the disks and start over. However, I have a single windows license and I'm afraid that if I do the format I am unable to reinstall it with my product key (as it is already registered). Can someone advise how I de-register my copy of windows and retrieve the product key, so I can install it again as a new copy?
(I don't want to use the options panel, as they appear to use some sort of system image stored on the machine. As far as I know, that the virus hide. It has already been proven extremely resistant to any attempt to restore my anti virus.)
You can reactivate simply by phone:
Activate Windows 7 manually:
1. click on start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 42. press enter on your keyboard
3. Select your country.
4. Select the telephone activation option and brace yourself for a real person. -
Is there anyway that I can format my HDD without the disc? As indicated, I still have the product key.
You must contact your computer manufacturer to see if there are any available recovery disks. Another option would be to buy from a reliable source. Several times shopping online disks can be counterfeited or contain malware.

Test your player - create a Bootable CD:
Ranging from 5 to 20% (depending on the manufacturing) new hard disks are defective. Test your drive with the factory utility. If you have a new hard drive Seagate the very next thing would be to download Seagate Seatools (bootable CD) and check bad sectors:

I solved it, he said that he could not detect or install properly my hard drives. I had to go through the command prompt. And my 3 year old has solved my problem of printer, my computer has not been read, turns out I turn the auto answer button.
