  Please follow the steps below.

  1. In the Finder, go to your package of iPhoto file. By default, it is located in /Users/[username]/ pictures and it is called iPhoto library.

  2. Control-click the iPhoto library file and choose show package content.

     A Finder window will open that displays the contents of the package file. The Masters folder contains all the pictures that are in iPhoto.

  3. Control-click on the folder named Masters and choose duplicate.

  4. Do drag the folder named "copy of masters' window of the library Finder iPhoto on your desktop and then you can import pictures into Photoshop from the desktop.

  You need to duplicate pictures unless you want to use the PSE as external editor for iphoto. In iphoto, your photos are stored in a library owner, which should never be marred with programs other than iphoto. Written to the iphoto library from outside iphoto is the best way to corrupt and lose all the photos it contains.

  So you can either set PSE as external editor and send the photos of in iphoto, or you export photos from iphoto to use them outside of this program.

  Just update you 13 windows 7 items... I sat until midnight and found the program data and ended up finding the catalog. I deleted the catalog now. and uninstalled items 13. I hope that when I reinstall it will be like new, and I can go back again. I had messed up I saw when viewing the photos in the media, it was media files and thought they shouldn't be there so I deleted them. Maybe thinking about now I get an error. Before, I made a slideshow with the media from the drive. I just started using elements 13 I used windows live previously for videos. Can you let me know also what photoshop elements or first, you use the most.  Also if I import video files in why do I see them I think of thumbnails. That's where I went wrong and thinking, they shouldn't be here. I brought a few books and trying to go through the learning process. What camera do you use?  Many questions sorry.   If you click windows, and then click OK for Media you should find the iPhoto library under library.  You can then open an event and select a photo.

  Check the settings on your iPhone.  Have you enabled iCloud photo library in the settings > iCloud > Photos on your iPhone?  Or "my photo stream?

  If you have iCloud library active on your and your iPhone photos sync iCloud and from there will to all your devices.

  If you do not want to synchronize on your iPhone photos, clear the iCloud photo library, but do not allow to delete photos from iCloud, or they will be removed the Mac as well.  With the removal of your iPhone, wait until all iCloud photo options have been disabled.

  Printing which forms an angle seems ok, but one that is horizontally seems faded, incomplete.

  I was wondering if I saved a layer somewhere and set it as a default value.

  If you group the layers, you will be left with a single layer, thus spreading your concern.

  Suggest that you do the following:

  1. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your printers
  2. Reset the default preferences.

  Hold the Alt, Ctrl + Shift keys when you click the icon to open the items. When asked if you want to delete the settings file, say Yes.

  Items nearby and let regenerate the file.

  Yes, they are literally identical. That is to say, time iPhoto Library and photo library (link) to point to the same files on your drive.

  The two libraries does NOT duplicate these files. If you delete the iPhoto library you will find very little storage space.

  My suggestion would be to leave in place iPhoto library until you have the habit of Photos and know with absolute certainty that all migrated to Photos correctly. Even in this case, you can copy, save a copy on a disk external backup and only remove them from your main drive.
